Chapter 151: Purpose
I sat on the sidewalk staring at the windmill that kept turning, sometimes some little kids would stop in front of me while giving flowers and sweets, including a middle-aged woman who happily gave me a cake.
"Thank you."
"What do you think of this village?"
"Looks peaceful" I answered briefly.
"Before we suffered from high taxes, now we can live our lives without thinking about it."
The woman bowed her body and walked away as I ate her cake, as a result of royal warfare taking their husbands to join the war when they could not pay taxes.
Things like this just make me sick.
I stood up and decided to return to the inn, in the room I met my party members who had finished bathing. Each one of them tried to tease me but I didn't have to lose my mind to attack them.
"Mr Aksa, how are you we having fun tonight?"
"No, we have a duty to protect this city. Soon bandits will appear and we must prevent it."
The three looked at me annoyed.
Before dusk came, I created a Barrett M82 rifle on top of a plateau, next to me Naula watched with long-range binoculars.
"There was a movement in the direction of 9 o'clock, it can be classified that it was a spy from the enemy" following Naula's direction I diverted my weapon and I found someone hiding behind a tree.
"I saw it."
"Not shot?" ask wonder Naula.
"My target is a big fish, because that by letting this guy get away he'll be back with his friends."
silence was felt between the two of us until Naula sighed softly.
"I can't stand you anymore, you should fuck us or not keep fighting, it's not that you should also have a pleasant life like most other people but instead involve yourself with troublesome things."
I answered after a moment of silence.
"Because of this world, my friend lives in suffering even to the end of his life, I just want that it doesn't happen to anyone anymore."
"By preventing war and killing your own heart."
"If it's the only way, I'll take it."

Naula just breathed a long breath.
After sunset the bandits started popping up, at which point Liz and Sirius had come out to attack them from the darkness, while I was shooting at them from above.
"Ten feet to the left."

"Because, twenty to the right."

"Because, at three o'clock someone managed to sneak in, Kena... All terget successfully obliterated."
Naula and I went down to the village and found that Liz had been holding one person with her ice magic to the point of being unable to move.
I walked over and opened the cover with my own hands, just as I thought the mastermind of all this was the person I met this afternoon who offered himself as a guard.
"You're not too surprised by me?' she said a happy grin and Naula hit her face hard.
"From the beginning it was strange, you happened to come to this village and also offered help, not that it was too fitting."
"Haha right, I made the bandits to attack the other villages and I was also the one who tricked everyone into believing me, instead of me being great... with this we can earn money the easy way, then how? Are you going to report me."
"That sounds like I'm a good person."
