HORROR CONTRITION (part 1)
Call it his name Mas Wardi and also his wife, Mba Yuna, they are a couple who have just been married for a few days. After the wedding, they decided to stay in a rented house.
Early stories.
It was the first day that Mas Wardi and his wife lived in a contract in a very crowded neighborhood in the capital. The contract belonged to a married couple who also lived in the same area. The location of the rented building is located on the edge of a very narrow village road with a very dense population and also crowded.
The rented building stands with a two-story building, each building has two rooms, namely two rooms on the upper floor and two rooms on the lower floor. Because it is in a very densely populated area, each room is very simple design consisting of a front room, two bedrooms, a kitchen and also a bathroom.
The room on the top floor was still empty, while the room on the bottom floor was inhabited by the family of Mas Wardi and his wife Mba Yuna. Actually, the rented room was not too crowded by Mas Wasdi and his wife, but because of economic conditions that were not able, they were forced to decide to contract at the place.
After all, the rental price is relatively cheap and also the location of the contract is not too far from his current place of work, yes quite right, itung-itung reduce the cost, he said. The first days in the contract began to be passed by Mas Wardi and his wife Mba Yuna. Neighbors next to his contract, call it mother Halimah and her husband, Mr. Candra, were very friendly, so during Mas Wardi went to work, his wife did not hesitate to visit the next door neighbor to just relieve boredom when her husband went to work.
Unfeelably. A few weeks have passed, now Mas Wardi and his wife have become accustomed to the new environment in his rented and they began to look at home living there. Until one night precisely on the rainy season night, that night somehow Mba Yuna could not fall asleep while her husband Mas Wardi had since she slept, she was asleep, maybe it was because of the ketchup after a day of work.
The clock on the wall of the room had shown at 00:23 midnight, but he somehow could not fall asleep, while outside the rain was quite heavy, occasionally the sound of lightning struck. Mba Yuna glanced back at her husband, he still seemed to be sleeping soundly, he felt his throat dry, until he went to the kitchen to get drinking water. But, uh,
Upon arriving in the kitchen, when he was sipping drinking water, suddenly a sound came from the top floor like the sound of a bang on the wall, the sound was like the sound of a fist beating on the floor and then followed up by a sound like furniture falling there. Meanwhile, he only stayed silent for a moment while listening and then the hose and then the sound disappeared.
Mba Yuna passed from the kitchen to return to the room, but just a few steps from the kitchen doorway, a voice came back,
DUKES... DUKES... DUKES...
The thumping sound from the top floor was again heard and this time the sound was getting louder than before. While continuing his steps he had time to look at the ceiling which contained the sound of the bang, he said, he felt confident that the voice was coming from one of the upstairs rooms that was now directly above him standing at the moment.
Hearing this, she quickened her steps to return to the room, and upon arrival there she was forced to wake her husband from his sleep.
"Sorry, I woke you up Mas, I was scared."
"Fear why, baby?."
"That's Mas, there's a bang from the top floor Mas, try to hear it!."
Mas Wardi who still looked sleepy, he momentarily fell silent to confirm the sound of a bang said by his wife just now, he was silent, he also heard the sound of the bang made himself rise and move from the room to the outside of the room while staring at the ceiling which contained the thumping sound there.
"What's that sound?."
DUKES... DUKES... DUKES...
Mas Wardi and his wife simply went silent listening intently to the sound of the bang while looking at the ceiling, and then, at that,
BRAKKKKKC...
The sound of the door slamming from the room upstairs made his wife scream and embrace the body of Mas Wardi.
"Mas, I'm scared."
"Smoke what the hell Mas, the sound period is like that, Mas this is-it's all."
Mas Wardi tried to calm his wife even though in his heart he was afraid, but he realized that he was a man who certainly had to be brave and try to stay calm in the face of events like this. A few moments later, the voices disappeared and they went back to their rooms to go back to sleep and wake up in the morning.
In the morning, as usual after breakfast, Mas Wardi immediately went to work (he was a foreman in the building), while his wife was clean, clean up, he went to his rented neighbor who was next door, Ibu Halimah, and he told her strange experience last night to the Halimah Mother, making her frown upon hearing the story.
"Well, Mba, maybe it's a rat's voice."
"Did Mom stay in this rented, have you heard anything weird like I did, Mom?."
"Never had Mba."
Short story.
The next night,
DUKES... DUKES... DUKES...
BRUKKKKIS...
The thumping sound from the top floor was repeated again, this time followed by a sound like something had collapsed there. Coincidentally on that night they were busy watching television shows until late at night. Hearing this again, this time made Mas Wardi feel irritated, he took a flashlight and then he went upstairs to find out what the real sound was there.
Slowly Mas Wardi walked slowly while directing the flashlight he held back and forth, after he was in the room upstairs. The atmosphere in the upstairs room looked pitch-black and felt very humid and also smelled musty, it seemed like the room had been uninhabited for a long time, the floor also looks dirty with fine dust that looks scattered there.
Maybe because the room was uninhabited, so all the lights in the room was deliberately turned off by the owner of the contract. Slowly Mas Wardi approached a room there was still a bang sound that his voice now sometimes heard disappearing. But upon arrival behind the door of the room, the sound of the bang was no longer heard.
After some time of waiting, but the sound of the bang was no longer heard. Finally, Mas Wardi also ventured to reach the door handle of the room intended to open it, but nil, the door of the room was locked. Then Mas Wardi shifted the chair that happened to be there, he also tried to peek from the vent that was above the door of the room with the bright light from the flashlight.
Mas Wardi continued to look around from behind the vent, but inside there was nothing, the room seemed empty. But after a few minutes later, when he pointed his flashlight at an angle, the flashlight seemed to catch something there. It looks like a small closet looks collapsed lying in the corner of the room.
Seeing that, Mas Wardi was curious, he tried to look more carefully but his view was limited because he could only see from the wind hole whose size was also very limited. After believing that there was nothing suspicious in the room, he returned to the ground floor.
"Where is Mas? What's really there?."
Arriving in the lower room, he was questioned by his wife who was still sitting on the sofa watching television.
"There's nothing." replied Mas Wardi short.
In his heart raging full of questions, actually what sound is always pounding on the top floor, still unsolved. But after that night, the sound of the bang was never heard again, even until some time in the future the sound of the bang was never heard again and Mas Wardi did not bother with the incident that occurred at that time.
Seriate.
