Chapters 33. Meet Grandpa Donald

Today is sunday. The day that families usually spend time together. Just like Roy did this morning. He was ready with casual outfit because indeed he would invite Boy to meet his grandfather, Donald Avicenna.

"Perfect!" roy exclaimed as he looked at his reflection in the mirror. He wanted to impress Belinda with his appearance today that looked different than usual.

Not to forget he sprayed masculine fragrances that must be with an expensive brand that can make the hearts of women vibrate because they smell.

Roy exits his apartment room and heads to the 17th floor where Belinda and Boy live. He neutralized his nervous heart as it was about to meet Belinda. It had been a long time since he felt the tremors coming back. Vibrate the romance that makes the heart flower.

Roy pressed the doorbell of Belinda's apartment. It did not take long a beautiful woman with a home dress opened the door for Roy.

For a moment their eyes clashed. Belinda noticed Roy's performance was completely different from that of a typical day. Today Roy wears a white collared polo shirt and navy jeans. Make Belinda's heart admire what's in front of her.

"Good morning, Bels.." said Roy.

"Eh? Ah yes, good morning Doctor Roy." Belinda was nervous about Roy coming this time. This is not the first time Roy has been to his apartment.

Belinda knocks on Boy's room door and shows up a handsome little boy who turns out to be wearing matching clothes with Roy.

"Have you guys planned this?" asked Belinda when she saw Roy and Boy who looked compact.

"No, Ma. We just....have a strong inner bond. Yeah, right, Pa?" said Boy.

"Papa?" mumbling Belinda. "When did Boy call Roy Papa?" inner Belinda.

"Ma, we go first!" pamit Boy's.

"Bels, let me take Boy first!" said Roy.

"Ah, yes. Son, don't be naughty there."

"Mama take it easy. Boy is a good boy. Yeah, right, Pa?"

"Yes dear. You're a good boy."

Belinda saw the familiarity between father and son. They had not met long ago. But their closeness can no longer be denied.

"Don't you want to give the whole family Boy, Bels?" riana asked who suddenly came to Belinda.

Belinda could only be quiet. He still can't answer all those questions. He really wanted to find the whereabouts of his parents first.

"I'm sorry Mama, son. Mama has not been able to give a whole family to you." - Belinda with a sad face.

Boy and Roy arrive at the agreed place with Donald. They couldn't possibly meet at Avicenna's family home. Donald chose his own private villa that is not widely known by people.

Donald immediately welcomed the arrival of Roy and Boy enthusiastically. After a long time, Donald finally met the grandson of his future heir.

Donald asks Boy to hug him. Boy glanced at Roy asking for approval. Roy nodded as a sign of agreement.

"Come, Son. It's your great-grandfather!" donald.

Boy hugs Donald who equates his height with Boy.

"You're a big boy, kid. You look a lot like your father when you were a kid. He's your son, Roy." Donald hugged Boy and peeked at the six-year-old's cheek.

"Let's go in, Mr. Donald, Mr. Roy" said Michael, Donald's assistant.

"Grandfather brought Mike along too?" asked Roy who was worried if the existence of Boy is known to many people.

"You don't have to worry. Mike is grandpa's confidant. He can keep secrets well."

Boy running around in that pretty spacious villa. Boy found one big box in the middle room.

"Great grandfather, what is this?" ask Boy.

Donald codes Mike to open the big box.

"It was a gift from your great-grandfather to you." said Donald.

"Well, there's a lot of toys. Thank you, Grandpa Geek." Boy's eyes sparkled happily.

Roy lets Boy play with Mike. He talked to his grandfather alone.

"So, since when did you find traces of the girl?" ask Donald.

"Boy is Zara's patient, Cake."

"Eh?"

"Did you know if Zara would gather genius kids and get special training from her."

"What's? Grandpa never heard of anything like that."

"So... Zara lied? He said he got permission from Grandpa."

"Grandfather would never allow such things. After all, what kind of training would he do? Why didn't you tell grandpa in the first place?"

"Sorry, Cake. I think grandpa knew it first."

"No. Grandpa doesn't know anything."

Donald speechless. He rubbed his chin.

"Where's the girl named Princess Diamond?"

"Sorry, I can't tell you about him. He still can't face the outside world, Cake. Boy was listed as Kenzo's and Riana's foster child."

"Kenzo Zara's assistant?"

"Yes, Cake. Does grandpa know him?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"Did Grandpa ask him to be Zara's assistant?"

"really. Grandpa suspects that Zara is behind Gerald's disappearance."

Roy fell silent with a clenched hand.

"You've changed a lot, Zara. I don't recognize you anymore." Roy's inner.

"If it's Zara who's hiding Gerald, we need to find him, Roy. Grandpa was afraid Zara would do something reckless."

"Grandfather calm down. I'm also looking for Gerald's grandfather's whereabouts. And Julian." And so does."

"Julian? Your brother?" Donald was shocked to hear the name of his eldest grandson.

"Yes, Cake. Julian's brother is in town. He's back."

Donald's eyes warmed. He missed his eldest grandson. He still remembers how Julian decided to leave his home ten years ago.

Roy rubbed Donald's back. He knew his grandfather missed Julian a lot. His grandfather felt a lot of guilt for Julian.

"Where is he now, Roy?"

"He lives in the same apartment as me. He also took care of Boy and his mother."

"Julian..." Donald held onto his chest which felt tight.

Later that night, Roy takes Boy back to Belinda's apartment. Due to playing fatigue, Boy fell asleep and now Roy takes him in his arms.

Belinda directs Roy to lay Boy's body on his bed. Roy kissed the top of Boy's head after enveloping the tiny body.

"I'm sorry, so trouble you, Doctor Roy" said Belinda.

"Don't hesitate, Bels. Don't kids always do that when they're tired of playing?"

"Sit down first. I'll make you tea."

Belinda brews tea for Roy.

"Please drink it while it's warm."

"Thank you." Roy immediately sipped a warm tea made by Belinda. "It's delicious."

"Thank you" said Belinda.

"Bels, can we .. not be too formal in our conversation?"

"Eh?"

"We're Boy's parents. Although we ... have not had a clear relationship. Please try to accept all this."

Belinda was silent then nodded.

After finishing the tea, Roy said goodbye to Belinda. Belinda led Roy to the front door.

"Good night, Diamond..."

"Eh?" Belinda was stunned Roy called her real name.

Seeing Belinda's adorable expression, Roy reached out with one hand and pulled Belinda's nape closer. One kiss Roy put on Belinda's lips.

Belinda who was not ready with Roy's attack can only round the eyes feel Roy's lips touch his lips for the first time.
