43. The Black Mist Dragon

Neily closed her eyes as she learned of his death. Yet...

"[Shield]!!!"

A faded red shield appeared before him along with a ruby iris youth who activated his magic.

"Run quickly from here!!" Said the young man. Neily also realized from her shock and forced herself to move away leaving the young man.

Black mist dragon was surprised to see his attacks could be put on hold. He stared intently at the figure of the ruby iris youth who was also staring intently at him.

"How dare you challenge me, boy?!" The dragon was angry.

Zion tried to calm down. "I have no intention of challenging you. I just want you to calm down."

"You're asking me to calm down, huh? You humans are the same! I can only find trouble!! I'll show you what the consequences are if you dare to challenge me!!!"

The black mist dragon stretched out both its wings and took a breath. Zion immediately put on standby position. The magic circle re-formed the dragon's mark was about to re-launch its attack.

"[Black fog]!!"

Again the Black mist dragon used that attack. A magic circle formed before him and spouted a pitch-black mist at Zion.

The young man was silent. The black mist dragon who saw his opponent only silently accepted defeat smiled complacently. However, it was unfortunately not that easy to defeat Zion.

He again sprayed the fog where it made the plants and objects around it destroyed. Zion jumped up to avoid the attack. His hand threw a piece of paper that fell under the Black Mist Dragon.

The writing printed on the paper glowed faintly. There was no explosion there, and as soon as the paper hit the ground, an explosion occurred.

Zion took the opportunity to run and attack the Black Mist dragon. At least he had to buy time until the kingdom sent an army to appease this dragon.

If left alone, the Black mist dragon could destroy everything there considering how much power the dark dragon had.

The ice stuck to his wings disappeared a few seconds later.

The black mist dragon again used its magic and made the fog of darkness gather to form sharp thorns.

"It's gonna get harder.." Zion muttered seeing the dragon instantly launch an attack on her.

Zion quickly dodged. But not enough to get there, a big explosion occurred once the sharp thorns hit the ground making Zion have to dodge faster.

Unfortunately, he stumbled and fell. Some thorns slid at her and caused an explosion.

Meanwhile, the teachers in the academy quickly evacuated their students to a specially designed room to protect them from such disasters or monster attacks.

They were all quite surprised by the appearance of the dark dragon near the school area. Given that the Black mist dragon was the dark dragon that most rarely made a mess, it clearly raised a variety of questions on them.

On the other hand, Zion kept trying to buy time until the troops from the kingdom came.

The black mist dragon again used his attacks on Zion. However, this time Zion no longer dodged. Except to accept it.

Black smoke gathered around her and surrounded her forming black tendrils. The dragon before him was shocked to see the incident. He could clearly feel it was his magic. The boy controlled his magic.
