Eps. 269 — Turning Technique
"Yuan'er, catch!"
Zhou Bing suddenly threw a ring at Zhou Yuan which immediately easily captured the young man.
Zhou Yuan saw the ring, he reacted slightly when he learned that the ring his Grandfather threw was a Space Ring. Zhou Yuan recalled that three days ago his grandfather found out about the space ring he had pinned on him.
"The ring is a relic from Zhou Jiangnam like the Book of the Heavenly Kings, I've tried to activate it several times but to no avail, it looks like only you can use it."
Zhou Yuan looked at the space ring, he was surprised to not suspect that the figure of Zhou Jiangnam whom the Zhou Family ancestor mentioned had a space ring as well.
When Zhou Yuan put his finger on the space ring, hundreds of information immediately entered his mind. The information is the things that are in the ring of space.
There were no treasures, resources, or heirlooms in the ring but the many scrolls there.
"How, can you use it?" Ask Zhou Bing.
Zhou Yuan nodded and as if he could do so, Zhou Yuan exerted a deep force on the ring and imagined the object he wanted to remove. Not long after, a paper scroll appeared in Zhou Yuan's palm.
'It seems like this space ring can only be activated by those who have power in Yin, this figure of Zhou Jiangnam must have guessed that his descendants would later exist who have a Yin body like him...'
Zhou Yuan clucked in awe in his heart, he grew curious about Zhou Jiangnam's figure as he was sure he was definitely not an ordinary swordsman.
Zhou Yuan then read the scroll he took out and began to read it, in the scroll stored martial arts techniques.
"This seems to be the moves Zhou Jiangnam used to use, Grandpa." Zhou Yuan said.
Zhou Bing stroked his beard. "So then, Ancestor Jiangnam probably kept it so that not just anyone could learn it..."
Zhou Yuan was quick, if the Book of the Heavenly Kings contained about the techniques devoted by the owner of the Yin Body then these paper scrolls were techniques reserved for anyone.
Zhou Yuan intended to give the paper scroll to his Grandfather but Zhou Bing immediately rejected it.
"Everything in that space ring is yours, you don't have to give it to me or anyone else..."
"Grandfather is sure, all these scrolls are high-level martial techniques?"
"Yuan'er, Zhou Jiangnam probably wanted that only certain people could master his moves, if that space ring could only be opened by you then you were the one who deserved to use the moves he had first..." Zhou Yao who had been silently watching, finally opened his voice.
Zhou Yuan scratched his cheek then stored the scroll into the space ring back. "Thank you Dad, Grandpa, for giving all this to Yuan."
"You need it for your purpose of collecting Celestial Fruits, no need to hesitate..." Zhou Bing laughed as he patted Zhou Yuan's back slowly.
Zhou Yuan smiled awkwardly, puzzled as to what he should answer but to once again thank his Grandfather and Father.

On the night of the room, Zhou Yuan tried to take out the paper scrolls in Zhou Jiangnam's spatial ring and began to examine them one by one.
There were dozens of paper scrolls in the ring, each one an extraordinary martial technique.
After reading through some scrolls, Zhou Yuan clucked in awe at the contents, all the techniques written there were high-level techniques in the martial world that had actually been lost, some of those techniques Zhou Yuan had recognized him.
The techniques written are also divided from various types of martial arts such as empty-handed science, kick techniques, punches, speed, and others.
Not only limited there, there are also such as illusion techniques or sword techniques, some techniques look unique and have strange uses but are still very useful in fighting.
Zhou Yuan continued to read the scrolls, looking for something that he thought was very useful for his martial development until he finally found a style that interested him.
"Reverse Technique, can absorb the opponent's received moves and then reverse them back to the opponent with stronger strength..." Zhou Yuan muttered as he read the writing on the paper scroll.

As it is written, the Reversing Technique can restore the opponent's attack but the technique is also categorized as a difficult technique because it has a great risk when using it.
If someone fails to reverse the opponent's stance while using this technique then someone will experience serious internal injuries, in the most fatal condition they can experience total paralysis.
One unique thing about the Reversing Technique is that it requires a weapon when used.
The weapon in question is not only about swords, other weapons such as spears, sticks, even twigs can be used to use this Reversing Technique.
Zhou Yuan tried to study it for a long time until the sun rose. Zhou Yuan was not sure but it seemed like he was starting to understand the way the moves were used.
As the day began to day Zhou Yuan searched for Yifei, he asked the girl to attack him with her fire technique.
"Hm, are you sure Yuan Gege?" Yifei raised his eyebrows, he did not understand why Zhou Yuan suddenly asked to attack him.
"Yes, but don't be too strong, use your lowest strength."
The Reversing Technique could not be trained on its own, Zhou Yuan needed someone to attack him in order for him to understand the technique even more deeply.
Yifei did not comment anymore and instantly created a fireball in his palm. The fire was not white or blue as usual but a red fire that was not too hot.
After mastering the fire technique of the Jiang Family, Yifei was indeed able to control the temperature of the flames he created even the girl could create flames without the slightest heat.
Not waiting for long Yifei then fired his fireball at Zhou Yuan.
Zhou Yuan unsheathed the wooden sword he carried on the fireball but as the distance began to approach suddenly Zhou Yuan's wooden sword sucked the fireball into it.
Yifei's eyes widened, shocked by what was witnessed but Zhou Yuan did not stop until he absorbed it.
"Reverse Technique..."
Zhou Yuan then swung his wooden sword at Yifei, a similar fireball appeared and this time the temperature was hotter than the girl released.
Yifei immediately shot the fireball back to destroy the fireball that Zhou Yuan released. The two fireballs collided and caused a small, sizable explosion.
Zhou Yuan smiled widely as well as felt happy after seeing the effects of his technique. "It's really more awesome than I thought..."
