A week later since Jian Chen had met with Lyli, the Jian clan had returned to a normal situation.
Some residents returned to their homes, they began working, farming, trading, and activities like normal days. Jian Chen heard all that information from Miou Lin.
Old man Jian Chen had also returned to his house, he breathed a sigh of relief upon learning that they were fine.
Soon the disciples in Qianshan City came home and at the same time Jian Chen infiltrated quietly among them as if he had just come from there.
The parents welcomed their children as usual when the students of the academy had returned home.
“Daddy is okay?” Jian Chen asked worriedly.
“Mother and your father are fine, Chen’er. How is it there, does nothing harm you?”
Jian Chen shook his head slowly, he understood the reason his father was worried because he thought the Jian clan's attack was intent on wiping out the entire population without anyone remaining without knowing the cause was none other than a gold mine.
Jian Wu then brought Jian Chen to his house, his wife was there holding his little daughter, Jian Rou.
“Chen’er you see who is there, he is your sister.” Jian Wu smilingly introduced Jian Rou.
Jian Chen smiled widely then walked over to Jian Rou who was in the embrace of his mother. “Mother, can I hold Rou’er?”
Jian Ran smiled gently, “Of course Chen’er, he is your sister.”.
A smile expanded as Jian Rou who was still a baby was slowly in Jian Chen's sling, the young man looked happy to enjoy the face of his brother who was sound asleep.
Jian Chen carried Jian Rou away while his parents saw it smiling meaningfully.
“Just let him be with his sister, Ran’er, he looks happy with her.”
“I understand my husband, Chen’er may have endured his longing to meet his sister long ago.”
Jian Chen brought Jian Rou to the porch of the house and sat there, occasionally swinging his body so that the baby in his carrier was calm.
“In your first life, maybe your sister was born but because there was a big attack it might have been~..”.
“I understand the circumstances.” Jian Chen quickly cut off Lily's remark.

Jian Ran chuckled at Jian Chen's sour face as he handed his sister over so quickly.
“I understand mom, currently Rou’er is looking to breastfeed.” Jian Chen responded again with a wide smile.
During the days ahead Jian Chen spent his time with his family, Jian Rou's birth turned out to have a great impact on his family's atmosphere especially Jian Rou who was like a happiness magnet.
The two old men Jian Chen also never mentioned about attacking the Jian clan for not bothering the atmosphere.

Jian Chen did not immediately reply, to be exact he was unwilling to answer that question considering Lily was still wary of him.
Lily clucked in annoyance, of course she was aware of Jian Chen's thoughts. “As much as you want to answer or not. I'll tell you one thing, here I can't harm you or worse kill you. When you die I also die instantly, I ask because I want you to be able to help me recover my cultivation.”
Jian Chen narrowed his eyes, “Why do you think I should?”

Jian Chen looked at the dark sky, looking stars twinkling up there. “After the tournament was over I planned to travel to meet my teacher in Earth Dragon Province.”
“So your goal after is to meet your mysterious teacher?”
Jian Chen nodded. “While my strength is growing much faster than my first life, it is still not enough to protect those closest to me. I plan on practicing there some time.”
Lily did not question any further Jian Chen's plan, at least the spirit of the man had grown up from his actual age.
Jian Chen closed his eyes then let out a slow breath, he realized his journey this time would take a very long time.
