My babysitter Maduku

My babysitter Maduku
Chapter 23

Instead of going home after work, Dodi wandered off without a clear direction to avoid meeting Anissa. Even Dodi accidentally turned off her phone so that Anissa could not contact him.

What Dodi did actually made Arini anxious. Several times he glanced at the wall clock hanging on the wall of the room. It was almost dark, but Dodi had not yet seen the trunk of his nose. Arini had even tried many times to call the man's mobile number, but the number was off.

"How, Arini? Did Dodi answer your call?" asked Bu Nining who also worried about the situation of his only son.

Arini shook her head slowly while looking at her mother-in-law with a sad look. Then after that, he refocused on his front yard.

"You're not fighting, are you, Rin? Or maybe Dodi is upset with you about the Baby Sitter? Actually you're the one whining, asking Baby sitter to Dodi, to be honest!" ketus Bu Nining with an annoyed face, dropped himself onto the sofa that was in the front room.

"Oh my God, Mother. We're not fighting. Our relationship is fine, as always. And as for the Baby Sitter for Azkia, I could have sworn that Mas Dodi wanted it. Didn't you hear it yourself from Mas Dodi," said Arini.

"I still don't believe it!" ms. Nining replied while turning her face away in annoyance.

Arini breathed heavily. He knew, it wouldn't be that easy to explain to Bu Nining. If Bu Nining says A, yes it will remain A, even if the real answer is B.

Arini, who was increasingly worried, immediately stepped in front of the fence of her house. He stood there with a worried face. Although this is not the first time Dodi has come home late. However, at least the man must have given word if he had to work overtime or there were other activities.

"Mas Dodi, where are you? May you be well," muttered Arini while grinding her hands in turn. While the woman's eyes continue to be fixed on the road that is usually passed by Dodi.

It turned out that Hendra had been watching Arini from behind the window of his house. Hendra had a hunch that Arini was in trouble. He slowly stepped out of his house and approached the woman.

"Arini, what are you doing here?" ask Hendra.

"Mas Hendra?" Arini smiled wryly as she returned the man's gaze. "Waiting for Mas Dodi. For some reason today he was late and his phone was not active when contacted" said Arini with an anxious face.

"I happen to want to go to the supermarket across the compound. Let me help you find Mas Dodi later, who knows we met on the street."

"Oh, thank you very much, Mas" said Arini with teary eyes.

"Together." Hendra then returned to his yard. The man pulled out his favorite sport bike then rushed off to look for Dodi's whereabouts.

While Arini is still worried about Dodi out there. In Dodi and Arini's room, Anissa was peeking at what Arini was doing from behind the window. At that time he was assigned to put the little Azkia to sleep and now the little one has fallen asleep in his dreamland.

"Huh, I'm sure you must have deliberately avoided me, right, Mas Dodi? But I'm not that stupid, I'll stay here until you come!" he hit the wall of the room, next to the window.

Meanwhile somewhere else.

Hendra is still driving his sport bike while watching the road he passed. Long enough Hendra run the motor without direction, until finally he managed to find Hendra's car.

"Is that Mas Dodi's car? Looks like yes," he murmured as he watched Dodi's car license plate number.

Hendra stops his bike right next to Dodi's car which turns out to be empty. There was no one in there, just a phone belonging to Dodi that was slung off.

Hendra circulated his gaze, until he finally found the figure of Dodi who was sitting in front of a small pond in the park while pensive. I do not know how many pebbles he threw into the pool.

The man's face looked crumpled. Describing how he felt back then, upset, angry, sad and everything mixed into one. Slowly Hendra approached Dodi and stood behind the man.

"Ehem!" Hendra cleared his throat and the way managed to break Dodi's daydream. "What is Mas Dodi doing here? Go home, Wife and Mother Mas very worried about your situation," continued Hendra slowly.

Dodi turned his head then looked at Hendra closely. "Has the woman gone home?" ask Dodi.

Hendra did not understand who and what the man meant. He furrowed his brows and asked Dodi. "Women? Which woman? Arini?"

Dodi's pinching his temple. "Not-not! But that woman! Who became Azkia's Baby Sitter?"

Hendra shook his head. She did hear about the baby sitter from her mother, but she did not know whether the woman was still in Dodi's residence or not. After all, he himself had never seen that woman even once in a day.

"That's what I don't know, Mom."

Dodi exhaled heavily and his face again crumpled.
