"B-but why?" ask Bi Nining astonished.
A terrified Anissa immediately approached Bu Nining and hid behind the middle-aged woman's back. His body shook violently. Anissa no longer even focused on Azkia who was still in her arms.
"This woman is the prime suspect in the disposal of the baby that Mr. Dodi found on the porch that night and we have very strong evidence" the police officer replied.
"What?!" pekik Bu Nining with perfectly rounded eyes.
Bu Nining turned to Anissa with a serious look. "Is that true, Anissa?!"
Anissa shook her head quickly. "No, Ma. That's not true" he replied with trembling lips and a paled face.
"Explain that at the office! Now come with us" said the Police Officer.
Two of the police officers held Anissa's hand, while the baby Azkia was handed over to Ms. Nining. Anissa tried to fight. He tried to release the hand of the policeman holding him while shouting hysterically.
"That's not true! I never did that! Unhand me!" shout Anissa.
"Shut up! It's best to explain that in the office" said the Police Officer with anxiety.
The police dragged Anissa out of the house. He had crossed paths with Arini who was still silent in the front room with a state of shock. When she arrived at the front yard, Anissa shouted again. The woman yelled at Dodi and was still in shock.
"Mas Dodi! You can't let me endure all this alone! You have to take responsibility! I'm doing this all because of Mas Dodi!" he shouted out loud.
Dodi panicked as Anissa shouted those words in front of everyone. What else Arini was also still not far from there and could hear Anissa's screams very clearly. Not only Arini, Miss Nining also heard Anissa's words at that time.
Arini and Bu Nining ran over to Dodi who was still staring with a deathly pale face.
"Mas! What does Anissa mean? Why would he say that?!" ask Arini. The same question, which Bu Nining wanted to ask her son.
"I don't know, Arini. I don't understand what he means!" sahut Dodi stammered.
Hearing the answer coming out of Dodi's lips, Anissa, who was about to be put in a police car, turns back and asks for time to talk to the couple.
"Shortly, Sir! Give me time to talk to them" Anissa said with a hopeful face. I hope the police allow it.
"Thank you, sir!" anissa replied that immediately approached Dodi, Arini and Bu Nining who were still standing in the courtyard.
"Do you want to know a big secret I've been hiding with Mas Dodi? Especially you, Arini! Don't you want to know how my relationship with Dodi has been behind you?" anissa said with a cynical smile.
"Shut up, Nissa!" snarled Dodi with half a shout.
"The silent one!" Anissa won't lose either. "Mas must also be responsible for this incident. This incident would never have happened if Mas Dodi was willing to take responsibility for me!" anissa continued with a flushed face looking at Dodi.
"What are you guys talking about?!" pekik Arini who had felt a bad feeling for all this.
"You shut up, and let him talk!" the Police Officer told the Dodi family.
Eventually Dodi, Arini and Bu Nining shut up and let Anissa explain everything in front of them.
"Yes, I admit. I'm the one who put baby Azkia on your porch that night. I also confess that the baby Azkia is my son, my newly born flesh blood."
Bu Nining and Arini widened their eyes after hearing Anissa's confession back then. While Dodi can't dwell anymore. The man seemed resigned and ready to accept whatever he would face after this.
"Then, what does this have to do with Dodi?!" asked Bu Nining stammeringly.
Anissa gave a cynical smile again looking at the people who were still standing before her. "Because Mas Dodi is Azkia's real father! I purposely put baby Azkia on your porch because Dodi is her biological father! He must be in charge of the baby!" anissa was clear.
"That-can't be! Dodi can't possibly betray behind my back!" screeched Arini while holding her chest back felt tight. While Bu Nining was speechless anymore. His voice seemed to just disappear.
"But dear it is a bitter reality that you must accept, Ms. Arini," said Anissa with a fine.
"Mas Dodi, that's not true, is it?" lirih Arini to Dodi who is silent a thousand languages.
"I'm sorry, Arini," said Dodi as she looked at Arini with a sad look.
