The Bond of Destiny

The Bond of Destiny
If Abi had known..

Abi Zidan stepped quickly to approach his wife who was preparing breakfast for Zalimar. Ummi Zee arranged the food in front of Zalimar and Revan who were now silent.

Abi Zidan approached his wife. "Ummi," called him which made his wife turn to him.

"Yes? Do you want breakfast here or?" he answered while asking the willingness of the middle-aged man who had long been her husband.

That's Ummi Zee. No matter how sorry she was to her husband, she continued to obey her husband's words. All of these are characteristics of one of the wives obedient to her husband.

Ummi Zee sighed because she did not hear her husband's answer, who was now staring fixedly at his daughter who was now looking down.

"Ummi come in first. It's not good for my two brothers-in-law" he said. He soon passed leaving all three.

Just stay all three. Revan who understood the situation, he chose to rise and go from there. However, his hand was blocked by Zalimar who made the young man stop to leave. He sat down to the left of Zalimar.

His hands deftly took the rice and omelet that he had made earlier. Revan opens the niqob Zalimar. He washed his hands and immediately fed his wife.

Abi Zidan approached his daughter and sat down before Zalimar, who was still looking down, not looking at her. Abi Zidan sighed.

Since the incident fifteen years ago, his eldest daughter seemed to stay away from him.

"Son. Are you still angry with Abi? Abi was just trying to tell you the truth. It is not good to keep a grudge that makes your heart dirty. Abi told you to forget all that so that your heart would not be polluted. Your heart will be broken if you keep a grudge, son. Not good," he said softly to Zalimar who was unmoved to look at him.

Revan chose silence. He will not interfere. This time, let the boy speak from heart to heart with his wife. Revan continued to feed Zalimar who did not refuse a bribe from the hands of her husband.

"Why? Why would Abi force me to talk if Abi already knew why I chose silence?" asked Zalimar who made abi Zidan look at him.

"Son, try to understand abi's state. Abi just-,"

"It's okay, Bi. I get it, I even really understand Abi's situation. I'm sincere, really. As it should be, Abi did this to me. I'm guilty anyway, right? I'm guilty of slapping your daughter in the past. For that, I'm sorry. I'm sorry for slapping him so presumptuously saying that I've committed adultery with a man other than Damar!"

The deg!

Abi Zidan was shocked. "What?" tannya

Zalimar smiled cynically, but wistfully. "I'm sorry for all my behavior so far. I know I was wrong. That's why I'd rather be quiet than talk that ends up disappointing you guys again. I've seen your changes to me. You guys love him so much. You guys are so adoring and proud of him. Not like me who always makes you ashamed of my actions and tarnishes the good name of you two. My sister is kind and obedient to both of you. Me being? I'm dissident. Not once have I heard what you guys have to say. So, stop trying to advise this dissident child."

"It's better for Abi to take care of it than to take care of me. I know and I'm self-aware so I chose silence. Isn't this what Abi always asked of me? Why is Abi like this now? Why, Bi? Am I too cruel as a child and a sister? If yes, I'm sorry. I'm mistaken. I'll apologize to her as much as Abi's happy, "the tour is slow even with a torn heart.

Revan stroked his wife's back gently. Abi Zidan stared fixedly at him.

"If Abi had known why I refused to marry Damar, Abi would not have cornered me like this. I realize now. My presence here only makes you split apart. So, because of that, I chose to go. Abi take it easy. I will not bring anything from this house but my body. I'll wear the clothes my husband gave me when I get out of here. After I left, I hope, Abi can be happy with the other abi's son. Abi will also not be bothered by my presence that bothers Abi with Abi's grandson. I'm sorry, Abi!" Zalimar kissed the middle-aged man's hand.

He passed away leaving Revan who immediately chased after his wife after saying goodbye to his father-in-law who now shed tears seeing the departure of his eldest daughter who was so injured because of the incident fifteen years ago.

"I'm sorry Abi, son. Abi didn't mean to. Abi apologized," he whispered.
