Chapter 29: What Feelings Are These?

Next day..

"Eh? Why is Akira in bed?" Akira was confused. "Great, it's 6 o'clock, Akira has to make breakfast" said Akira panicked and rushed to the bathroom.

After he was done with all his affairs, Akira quickly headed for the kitchen to make breakfast. His steps came to a halt as Akira saw everyone already at the dining table laughing together.

"Ah so yes." murmured Akira stopped his steps. "What'sthis? What is this feeling? Just be Akira yourself and do what you used to do, Akira" Akira said in his heart and then approached everyone.

"Good morning Akira. Come here, we have breakfast together" Rina called a smile.

"Good morning" said Akira smiling awkwardly.

"Good morning" Naoya and Alya said simultaneously.

"If Akira doesn't wake up, you jump into Akira's body" Shinji said, making everyone laugh.

"Good morning, Akira" Yuki smiled.

"Dear, what's your good sleep?" Ask Papa smiling.

"Hm, that. Sorry Akira is late" said Akira smiling awkwardly.

"No problem, sit down" Papa said.

"Thank God if Akira sleeps well," said Rina smiling. Akira then sits at the very end near Shinji because the chair that Akira used to occupy, between Papa and Yuki is already filled by Alya.

Rina then takes the rice for Akira and hands it to Akira. "Eat a lot" he smiled.

"Thank you, when Akira can take it himself" said Akira received a plate from Rina.

"It's okay, eat fast" he said with a smile.

"Thank you" said Akira smiling. "What'sthis? What kind of feeling is this? Relax Akira, just be yourself" Akira said in his heart. 

"Broccoli?" He muttered confusedly staring at the food that was in front of his eyes. "When was the last time Akira saw any broccoli on Akira's plate? If Akira leaves her Mom angry, no? Hmm just eat it, it will be problematic if later Mother is sad" he murmured in the heart.

"But I just found out that Naoya's sister is a careless person" Alya said, opening her voice.

"Infragrant how?" Ask Papa confused.

"Yesterday Brother told me that he had stumbled until he almost got into the sewer" explained Alya who made everyone laugh except for Akira and Yuki who looked preoccupied with his own thoughts.

"How can you?" Tanya Lina laughed a little.

"That's an old story, ma'am, I was really embarrassed at the time" Naoya explained.

"The body is big, but can still stumble when walking" Papa said laughing.

"If there had been no me, Brother Nao would have gotten into that ditch" Shinji explained.

They kept telling me a lot of fun things, laughing together while enjoying the food. Akira also smiles occasionally at their conversation even though he does not speak.

Akira then refocused on continuing his meal. He stared at the old broccoli that was on his plate.

"It's about to work hard today" whispered Yuki smiling at Akira.

"Eh? What's up, brother? What's working hard?" Akira asked confusedly.

"Sister is watching you from earlier" Yuki smiled and pinched Akira's nose.

"Mother, Akira can't eat broccoli, can Yuki spend it?" Yuki asked with a smile.

"Eh really? Akira can't eat broccoli?" Tanya Rina was surprised.

"I-yes, sorry Mom" said Akira bowing his head.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know that Akira couldn't eat broccoli. Just change the meal yes," said Rina will take Akira's plate.

"No need Mom, no need. Akira will spend it, dear if you throw away food" Akira refused.

"About right ma'am, it doesn't need to be replaced. Let Yuki eat the broccoli, can't she?" yuki smiled back.

"Of course," said Rina allowing. "I'm sorry, next time I won't put any more broccoli in" he said, feeling guilty.

"That's okay Mom, this is also Akira's fault for not saying. Sorry" said Akira again.

Yuki then moved all the broccoli that was on Akira's plate to his plate.

"I guess you shouldn't force it to eat it like that. If you choke or the food is stuck in the throat it will be very dangerous" Yuki explained.

"Yosh, it's done. Eat" Yuki said with a smile.

"Thank you sister" said Akira who also smiled.

In the afternoon..

"About going to practice first huh" Akira said to everyone gathered in the living room.

"Come, Brother and sister" said Naoya who had just come from the kitchen.

"Thank you, brother" said Akira smiling.

"Come" Naoya asked.

"Be careful, don't speed Nao" Papa said.

"Yes Pa"

"Akira's training spirit" Alya smiled.

"Thank you" said Akira, who also smiled. "About going yeah, bye-bye"

"Bye-bye, be careful Akira" said Shinji waving his hand.

"Let me deliver to the front" said Rina smiling. 

Rina then escorted Naoya and Akira forward. "The spirit of training is yes" said Rina smiling.

"Yes Ma'am, Akira's gone" said Akira smiling.

"We're leaving" Naoya said, smiling as well.

On travel..

"Is it okay?" Naoya asked opened the conversation.

"Akira Why Sis?" Akira asked confusedly.

"No, there's no. I'm sorry that you didn't notice it this morning" said Naoya.

"So morning?" Confused Akira. "Ah, what about the broccoli?" Guess Akira.

"Hm, sorry"

"Don't apologize Brother, brother is innocent. It was also Akira's fault for not telling Mom before. Akira was intending to spend it but the truth is Akira really can't do it" Akira smiled.

"really? Why does Akira think that way? Why not just tell me from the beginning?" Ask Naoya again.

"I don't want to make Mom sad Sis" sad Akira.

"About her sister's sister" Naoya stroked Akira's head. "But next time, it would be better if Akira had told Mother before" she smiled.

A while later Akira arrived at the training building.

"Okay, sister" said Akira smiling. "Thank you, be careful on the way home. Bye-bye" Akira waved his hand and entered the building.

"Bye-bye" Naoya smiled. After Akira lost his sight, Naoya also decided to go home.

The training went smoothly, only during the training break, Akira looked a lot aloof in the corner of the field.

"What's wrong? You look moody, Akira" said Rena approaching Akira.

"I messed it up" Akira said without looking at Rena.

"Disturb what?"

"Regardless this morning"

"I can't understand if you don't tell me, Akira" Rena said.

"First, when I came down to cook I was a little surprised because Papa, Brother, Mother, and Alya were already sitting together at the dinner table. I forgot that Mom's been living with us"

"About home" said Akira entering the house.

"It's not like that, sister, but. all right, let's go to the kitchen" said Akira pulling Yuki's arm. "Will cook quickly. Brother just wait at the dinner table huh" said Akira smiling.

"Who? Same mother Brother hasn't slept?" Akira said in surprise after finding Mom and Shinji at the dinner table.

"Welcome" greeted Shinji with a smile.

"Welcome, Akira. Was the exercise fun?" Tanya Lina smiled.

"Hm, nice" Akira replied smiling. "What are you and your sister doing here?" Akira asked confusedly.

"Right, what are you guys doing?" Ask Yuki.

"Mom just cooked for you. Shinji insisted on saying he would wait for Akira to eat together" Rina smiled.

"really? Why are you waiting for Akira? You know Akira comes home late, don't wait for Akira, sister" protested Akira.

"Then how? Did you do it already?" Shinji asked confusedly.

"Yes, eat still warm. This time there are no broccoli" said Rina smiling.

"Thank you very much, ma'am. Even though I don't have to bother, Akira can be alone" said Akira smiling. "Have you eaten?"

"It was with Papa, Naoya, and Alya earlier. Sorry we didn't wait for you" he said regretfully. Quickly eat and rest" said Rina again.

The three of them then ate the food that Rina had prepared.

"How's it?" Tanya Lina smiled.

"Enak Ma'am, do you want anything?" Ask Akira again.

"No, I'm full. You eat," he said smiling. "Sorry kids, I'm going to bed now. The dirty dishes let it be washed tomorrow" said Rina again.

"Yes, Mom, take a break" Yuki smiled. "Thank you"

"I'm sorry, I'm so sleepy"

"It's okay, ma'am, let Akira take care of the rest. Thank you" Akira smiled.

"Good night everyone" said Rina smiling.

"Good night too Mom" said Akira, Shinji, and Yuki together.

"I'm sorry to keep you waiting" said Akira.

"Why is Akira apologizing? It was us who decided to wait for Akira and eat together, so there was no need to apologize for the mistake Akira did not make" Shinji explained again.

"Truely Akira, don't apologize" Yuki agreed. "How's the exercise?" Ask Yuki.

"As usual, brother, the coach is very hard" Akira smiled. "I think we have to work harder because according to the coach, next year we will be selected to participate in the Thomas and Uber Cup championship without a junior title" said Akira smiling.

"really? Isn't that great?" Shinji smiled.

Day after day they passed as a family. Akira's life to this day is still going well. Within a few days, she was close enough to her new mother but not close to Alya because of her busyness and Alya rarely came out of her room, so they rarely chatted.

Akira is getting used to the presence of his new mother who is ready to meet all the needs of Papa and his brother. Even so Akira still helps his mother when he can do it.
