“Dad!” Call Arabella with such passion.
“Bella, my God, is this really your voice, baby? I'm sorry, I've tried to redeem you, but they don't want to let you go before I pay it all off, ” James replied, sounding desperate.
“What you've tried to borrow on Uncle—“
“No one wants to lend me Bella's money, all this money belongs to Daniel, he is looking for a loan on some of his friends. I'm really sorry Bella, I won't set foot again into that damned place.”
Hearing Daniel's name made Arabella speechless, she was quite sad, how could she not remember Daniel while he was here? He did not feel worthy of Daniel, there was nothing more he could give to his lover. Maybe after Arabella is free she will end her relationship with Daniel, Arabella will work and replace the amount of money that Daniel spent. The man is too good for Arabella, he deserves a much better woman. And all this is because of his own father! Oh, my God, Arabella's been so upset but she can't hate her own father. “You are always sorry if it's like this Dad! Can you live your life in peace? Look now how many people are involved in your problems,” Arabella said with a sigh.
“Ya Bella, I've been so sorry, I promise to change, this week I will try to get you out of there. They didn't torture you, did they? Are you given proper food? You didn't sleep in a dungeon, did you?” James asked worriedly.
“No Dad, I'm fine here, don't worry about me, just focus on getting the money to redeem me, if I'm free I'll help you pay off all debts, please, you must promise not to repeat this incident again.”
Just now Arabella was about to hear James answer, a notification came in. “Dad, it looks like I have to return this phone, take good care of yourself.”
The confused Arabella just sat back and waited for Axton to finish with his phone, the man seemed focused when seen from the look on his face. Slowly Arabella picked up a glass beside her plate, she could not start dinner first, only Axton was entitled.
Before long, there was the sound of heavy breathing from Axton who managed to make Arabella turn her head. Arabella can judge if the man is upset, or maybe tired? I don't know, Arabella doesn't know for sure. “Spend your dinner Bella, I have to go right now,” said Axton who immediately stood up and took the suit that was in the year on the seatback.
“What's up? Where are you going?” Arabella asked puzzledly, did something happen? Axton is not as calm as usual.
But the small smile that Axton threw made Arabella speechless and remembered everything she had said. “Do I have to tell a prisoner where I go?” Good, those words managed to make Arabella realize where her position was, after all why she asked like that? Shouldn't Arabella feel indifferent and relieved because the man is leaving, the night is much calmer, isn't it if Axton isn't around? “Continue your dinner Bella, there is work to be done right now,” replied Axton who sounded so soft on Arabella's ear. God, looks like Arabella's going crazy with her own thoughts.
