Zhen Yuan smiled slightly looking at Yiqian, then his gaze towards the Mortal elder who was also looking at him with hostility. “You don't have to look at me like that!”
“Zhen Yuan, you have made the wrong enemy! If you give us the Soul Essence Pill recipe with the tricks you have then all the enmity with the Zhen family will vanish today.” said the Mortal elder who now changed his friendly expression.
The young man glanced at Patriarch Duchong, the latter nodding his head. Yang then Zhen Yuan suddenly disappeared from there with the other five elders. Patriarch Yiqian was surprised, he had no time to think of anything else when one of their layer 7 elders cried out in pain.
He looked over and found that one of them had died surprisingly. It did not stop there, another scream was heard. This time it was a layer 8 elder. Just like the first elder, he died instantly with a stab wound to his stomach.
“Tidaak!!” The third, a Peak Soul elder from the Thousand Pill came shouting. Patriarch Yiqian and the others were at a loss as to what had happened.
The Mortal Elder was different, although he was unable to clearly see the incident but he could faintly sense some hidden power around them.
“Watchful! The disappearance of Zhen Yuan and the five elders had something to do with this!” The Mortal Elder said warning the others.
Duchong gave a small smile seeing the tricks they had known. With a wave of his hand appeared thousands of soul insects that began to charge towards the enemy troops.
Patriarch Yiqian also did not remain silent, he released many of his tendrils and tried to fight against the poisonous insects belonging to patriarch Duchong.
Poisonous insects patriarch Duchong is very ferocious, although their size is small and weak if they join then in a matter of seconds 3 elders of layer 6 and 7 are killed. While Patriarch Yiqian controlled his hundreds of large tendrils not too much regarding the small-sized Poisonous Insect Patriarch Duchong.
Feeling in vain using his tendrils, Patriarch Yiqian asked the other peak Soul cultivators to help fight the poisonous insects.
The only remaining peak layer elders of the Inner Estuary and Lightning Sword were united. They began to pull out the moves they had to eliminate many of Duchong's poisonous insects.
But no matter how hard they tried, the patriarch Duchong increasingly released more poisonous insects as if he had an endless supply of insects. Meanwhile the Peak Soul cultivators also dealt a silent attack carried out by Zhen Yuan and the five insect elders.
“I will help you master!” The Mortal Cultivator finally intervened. It used its powerful mortal strength to make more than hundreds of Duchong insects stop moving.
“Sial!” Duchong shouted, he did not think the Mortal power would be so terrifying. However he had no other choice, he had to as much as possible distract Yiqian and the Mortal cultivator before the preparation of Zhen Yuan and the five insect elders was finished.
“Strike!” Unmitigated, patriarch Duchong also attacked Patriarch Yiqian. His body let out a green-colored mist while Yiqian coated his body with some tendrils blocking the green mist approaching.
They fight power and strength in seconds. Both in terms of strength and experience Patriarch Duchong was clearly superior to Yiqian, but because he also controlled his insects made his concentration break. The Patriarch took advantage of that by making Patriarch Duchong desperate.
After a few minutes, the two took some distance while revealing the wounds they had between them. Although only fighting in a matter of minutes, both of them have known their respective strengths.

Patriarch Duchong and Yiqian then noticed that Zhen Yuan and the five elders had joined forces to destroy the Mortal cultivator. The attacks of the five elders were so deadly, each one of them had a stance like the one that was called upon by his name.
Zhen Yuan was certainly no less astounding, for out of all of them, only Zhen Yuan's attacks were capable of making that Mortal cultivator injured. They were all deeply distrustful of Zhen Yuan's strength, as for Patriarch Yiqian he had a wry smile on his face.
“The boy had successfully developed and mastered the Mortal” technique He knew Zhen Yuan got the technique from Leng Wuchang when offering the Soul Essence Pill recipe. Yiqian slightly cursed the stupidity of the main elders back then.
Behind it Yiqian was also surprised to find Zhen Yuan who was still at the second layer of the Soul realm had managed to master the Mortal technique. Maybe he just found a case like that.
Yiqian gave an aba-call to the other Peak Soul cultivators to help deal with Zhen Yuan and the five elders. The faster they managed to defeat Duchong and his allies the faster he obtained the Soul Essence Pill recipe.
“You cheated!” Duchong snorted in annoyance, he re-deployed his thousands of bugs to help deal with the remaining cultivators, as well as the entire elders and cultivators in the Poisonous Insect sect had come out and helped.
A great battle finally broke out, some cultivators were instantly killed when they encountered attacks from strong cultivators even the first time they attacked. The Duchong army has the advantage here, they have an army of insects that help them face two to three people at once.
“Storm Rage!” Dozens of lightning bolts as big as dragons came and charged towards the Mortal cultivator. The attack this time was so powerful that the Mortal cultivator was pushed back with a severe deep wound.
Of course Zhen Yuan managed to injure him as he along with the 5 main elders attacked using a power-up formation which was then if Zhen Yuan used a half Mortal power like Lightning of Anger, then, his strength would be increased to a little lower than the mortal techniques.
If he were combined with Lightning Storm then then his attack power would be the same if a Mortal cultivator attacked with 2 forces at once. True Mortal Cultivators would not be able to withstand it.
