Black cloud clumps began to spread to cover the surrounding area, fortunately they were not on the Origin plain.
Zhen Yuan prepared, as the first signs of lightning were about to descend. It shot out from the protection of the formation and moved towards the first flash of lightning. Yan Jie and the others were startled and hysterical when they saw Zhen Yuan darting out instead of taking cover inside the formation.
The red-coloured lightning became the first lightning to descend and hit Zhen Yuan's body, the four Mortal cultivators who were looking from a distance could not help but shiver when they felt the intense pressure from the lightning.
While the lightning striking Zhen Yuan began to be processed into his body, the young man had a spirit expression on his face as his entire body trembled enjoying the lightning of fury. Before long, the fire and water lotus began to churn within his dantian.
The rest of the reddish lightning that had yet to be absorbed began to be ferociously devoured by the fifty tendrils of the Fire and Water lotus making every single one of its tendrils now able to wield a hint of power from the red heavenly lightning.
The little lion laughed happily at that lotus of Fire and Water, “Look how they devoured the energy from this tribulation lightning! They will be one step closer than their first revolution”
Not long after the reddish energy dissipated, the black cloud clump in the sky again resounded furiously preparing to spew out a second bolt of lightning. Minister Yan Jie and the others nodded happily at Zhen Yuan's success.
A moment later, a second lightning bolt descended. This time his strength was much stronger than the first lightning. The color of the second lightning bolt was also yellowish-red like the lightning that Zhen Yuan possessed. Just like the first lightning, Zhen Yuan had no difficulty absorbing all of them and sending them all over.
This time Zhen Yuan's body was bathed in lightning making him like a lightning god in the sky. Not until there, he also circulated the Heavenly Pagoda technique to absorb all the remaining energy from the second lightning.

He immediately complied, restoring the technology of the heavenly pagoda and unleashing the technique of Thunder Rage. From a distance Zhen Yuan's body seemed to be emitting a yellowish-red lightning which the lightning bolts were trying to devour heavenly lightning.
“What does Zhen Yuan want to do?” Minister Yan Jie was confused, as he did not know of Zhen Yuan's special condition so thought if it passed through the Heavenly Lightning just by absorbing the energy from the heavenly lightning like Zhen Yuan did in the beginning.
But elder Huang, Second elder and elder Qiubai shook their heads slowly, they didn't know about it either.
Returning to Zhen Yuan, it was originally his anger lightning that was suppressed very violently by the heavenly energy and lightning. Zhen Yuan even suffered from side effects due to it, but it was not Zhen Yuan by name if it was unable to turn things around. With a strong determination, his furious lightning began to gain position and turn things around.
The lightning-fury Zhen Yuan ferociously devoured the yellow lightning that was slowly also making the color of the Zhen Yuan heavenly lightning turn a yellow color just as the third tribulation lightning energy was exhausted without a trace.
Zhen Yuan was very satisfied, he tried to move the ocean below him which then the yellow lightning energy dropped and made a powerful tsunami wave. Some of the beasts that were there instantly died and emitted smoke.
With his strength this time around, he could even easily kill a true Mortal elder from the Zhen family with just his Lightning Anger technique alone.
