38. Just one time

"You two, can you ask teacher for permission for me?" When they finished eating their food, Izuja said suddenly which made them quite surprised and confused.

"What's up, Izuna-kun?/Are you sick, Izuna-kun?" Hakari and Asuna asked worriedly. The two looked at each other and frowned, before finally throwing their faces away and focusing their attention on Izuna.

"No, I'm fine. Just a little tired, therefore I seem to be taking a short rest in the UKS. So I'm asking you guys to ask the teacher for permission later." Izuna coughed and held her head as if her head was dizzy, which made the two become worried.

"Are you sure you're okay?" Asuna asked worriedly.

"Do I need to accompany you, Izuna-kun?" Hakari also asked.

The two of them seemed so worried about Izuna, but the thoughts of the two of them were completely different.

If Asuna's worry is pure because she doesn't have the heart of Izuna's condition and they pity her. Hakari is the opposite.

Kana turned to Izuna and then coughed slightly before saying weakly, "Izuna... Well, today it looks like I'm out of luck..."

Izuna calmed herself down and then walked over, "You sick, Sensei?"

"Izuna-kun is not feeling well, Sensei. That's why we drove her here" Asuna said in response to Kana's question.

"Then, Sensei. Is there no one in this UKS room?" Hakari asked in surprise. Usually, there is one teacher who has a special duty to be in the UKS room, and the task is only to care for students, school staff or teachers who are sick.

"She's getting me some medicine at the teacher's office because the medicine here is running out. Then, it's better if you go back to your class because the lesson time is about to start" Kana said, and reminded them (Asuna and Hakari) to return to class.

The UKS room itself is located far enough from the classroom so that patients are calmer to rest in the room, if the UKS is near the classroom then it is feared that it will interfere with the patient's resting condition, the UKS room should be in a state of silence and comfort.

"But sensei—" Hakari was about to refute, but his words were cut off by Kana.

"No 'but-but'an, you two go back to your class, Izuna can take care of herself. Isn't that right, Izuna?" Kana glared at the two of them, before turning her gaze towards Izuna while frowning.

"Well, sensei..." Asuna and Hakari answered weakly while bowing their heads sadly.

"We go first, Izuna-kun" Asuna said weakly.

"Take care of yourself okay? I'll see you later." Hakari also said weakly.

"Yes, you two be careful on the road, don't get lost."

Looking at the two who were leaving sadly and like a walking undead, Izuna simply shook her head and walked towards the bed next to Cana, with a curtain that became the boundary between the two.

"Yes, have two beautiful girls worrying about you, Izuna?" Kana asked sarcastically.

"Sensei's.... Don't joke with me like that. It's not what you think." Izuna replied weakly as she sighed hearing the sarcastic remark from Kana.

"But it's true, right? If not, why did the two of them bring you here?" Kana asked while snorting.

Looking at the three earlier, Kana felt an envious and bitter feeling in her. When his student had been through a loving adolescence, here he had been single for the last 20 years, and until now he had still not found anyone who was his type.

"They're just my friends, sensei. Don't dribble your own opinion."

"Good, so, are you sick of what Izuna is?" Kana ignored Izuna's defense and switched the conversation smoothly.

"It's just my head that's dizzy, sensei." Izuna said as she swallowed her saliva as a drop of sweat flowed down her.

If Kana finds out if she's just pretending to be sick, I don't know what punishment Izuna will get this time.
