Chapter 42 Demon King

Kayla stared at the figure of the man who smashed the roof of the hall building making her quite surprised, she said, because the building he occupied with the others was a five-story building and the place they were occupying now was on the third floor which meant that the top two floors were destroyed.

"Who did you break through to destroy the roof of the palace?" shouted one of the nobles there who had suddenly been suffocated to death

"Our respect to the noble demon lord guarding the gate of death," said the two men whom Luna knew in kneeling position saluting the male figure who was now floating and descending towards Luna

Luna there took her sword and pointed it at the male figure who was summoned as the demon. But the male figure just kept walking unaffected by the actions taken by Luna, while the system screen became errant when trying to identify the figure of the demon king.

Luna trembled and slowly walked backwards backwards as she could not identify the figure of the man in front of her who continued to walk, on the other hand there was a grinning father and son looking at Luna who was likely facing her death. Luna walked backwards until she was finally in the corner of the wall not moving.

'I've seen this man somewhere, I'm afraid I'm gonna die like that man,'

'System alone can't protect me which means he's at the same level as the gods, I can only rely on my death then,' luna said in her heart while closing her eyes because of the hand of the demon lord that led to her

Luna who closed her eyes only felt a warmth above her head, like someone touching her head slowly Luna opened her eyes and saw the figure of the demon king instead of killing herself, she said, but stroking his head made him a little dumbfounded not only himself, but everyone in the room was also confused by what happened.

"My daughter, I'm sorry papa's late,"

"Because old papa picked you up, you must have been in trouble all this time" said the demon lord with a bitter smile as he stroked the head of his daughter who was no longer a child

A sincere speech and sounding exactly like a guilty tone made tears wash over her cheeks without Luna noticing that the wall she had been building for so long was now shattered with just a long-standing warmth search since previous life. There were many questions in Luna's head right now, from starting to why she was thrown away to why she couldn't hate the old man who had thrown her away. The figure of the demon king immediately hugged Luna without warning and Luna received the open embrace, the atmosphere in the room seemed to change from tense to warm.

"From now on you can count on me Luna, because after your business is done then we will return to the underworld together" whispered the demon lord to Luna's ears

The demon lord was a leader of the underworld who was considered a bad thing by many, ruthless, and cold-hearted. All of that had been written so easily about the leader of darkness, without anyone knowing at this time the demon king had an unexpected side that was soft-hearted to his daughter.

Suddenly, an attack quickly led to the demon lord from behind.

The duke's attack made the dust thick enough to make everyone in the room curious, whether the demon lord was dead or alive behind the dust, of course, it was clear that the demon lord did not have the slightest wound even though the attack was launched towards him. The attack given by the duke is impossible to allow by the demon lord, with just a flick of his finger the overwhelming pressure of the heavy darkness magic made all the humans who were inside the room suffocate, vomiting blood and some of them died from not being able to endure it was no exception Duke was exposed to the pressure of instantly feeling suffocated and vomiting blood.

"Your demon lord, raise me up to be your daughter then you can benefit a lot from me compared to that useless girl who is in your arms," amy said loudly and stammered on the floor because of the pressure exerted by the demon lord

"You're more profitable? I'm not interested in a child who gets the blessings of the gods and also a child who says my biological daughter is a useless child,"

"Humans who get the grace of a god like yourself are so arrogant even more than the demons, does not the eyes of the gods mean closed if only see his soul?" said the demon king with a condescending look and towards Amy who kept shouting and asking to be made as her daughter

"Didn't you have a father? Why do you want a father again? Isn't that enough for you, wealth and power?" asked Luna who was still in the arms of the demon lord with a sharp look towards Amy

"You know what? That power is everything and I can get what I want even more if I have it" Amy said with widened eyes and a crazy smile

The words of Amy made the duke who listened and saw his daughter acting like it made his heart ache like it was pierced by a sword, but it was very clear that Amy was his biological daughter, but the words spoken by her flesh-blood child were like they were not her real daughter at all. Luna stared with horror at the behavior of the main character in a game like this, she did not expect that such a female figure was very selfish and dissatisfied.

Luna felt a little similar, but different because she never acted to throw away someone who was useless at the time when that person loved her, Luna is certainly very upset by the actions done by Amy who is not grateful at all to have a father, but asks for more from the father she has at this time.

Slowly Luna took off her arms from her father and grabbed him a sword that bounced off her way towards Amy.
