40. Learning to Accept
When Arungga was hugging Zahira, it was when some police officers came with Fauzan. Arungga immediately broke his arms and handed Zahira to Fauzan.
"Sorry I Bang. I'm just ...," Arungga's speech was interrupted because Fauzan cut fast.
"Gapapa Ar's. I understand why Lo lasain was. Thanks, I'll take Zahira now" Fauzan said.
Arungga nodded then let Fauzan carry Zahira and take her away.
Then Arungga leaned on the guardrail while staring at the police who worked to secure the scene. He did not care about the wound on his calf that was still spitting out a lot of blood. Arungga still did not expect if the ending of the story in life to both is the fall of Haikal from the roof of the JC building.
Suddenly Arungga heard his name called. Arungga turned his head and was surprised to see Siska running towards him while crying. Even more surprised because Siska slammed into his embrace. Arungga no longer wanted to hold back. He hugged Siska tightly and let the girl cry out.
Moments later Siska broke her embrace. His face looked puffy and filled with tears. Without hesitation Siska tried to wipe her snot and tears with the arm of Arungga's suit she was still wearing. Arungga could only smile at Siska's absurd behavior. Then Arungga helped Siska wipe the tears on the girl's face with her finger.
"Don't cry anymore. I'm gapapa really," said Arungga with a smile.
Hearing Arungga's words made Siska smile. Moreover, Arungga has changed the name I became Me. Although it sounds foreign but Siska really likes it.
"Yes. But I'm really worried about Ar" said Siska in a trembling voice.
Arungga smiled again with a warm feeling that slipped in his heart when he heard Siska's confession.
"So you haven't come back from here yet?" ask Arungga.
"Yes. I can't calm down if I haven't seen Alina safe. In Alina's condition I was shocked. Plus squirming something floated down earlier. I thought it was you ...," said Siska almost crying.
Arungga hugged Siska again. He also rubbed Siska's back gently to channel the affection he had from when he had.
And their hugs unraveled as a medic approached them. He reminded that wounds in the calf of Arungga should be treated immediately if you do not want to have an infection.
Arungga nodded and let his wounds be treated and bandaged. After that Siska helped push the wheelchair prepared by a special medical team for Arungga.

The next day JC's office was in an uproar. News of Arungga fighting to save Zahira was also widespread. What is surprising is that the criminal Arungga has to deal with is Haikal, a former financial staffer who Zahira fired for corruption.
Zahira and Fauzan's plans for their honeymoon were delayed. Even the two had not had time to do the first night because Zahira was exhausted after going back and forth to the Police station to complete the report file.

"Astaghfirullah aladzim's. Yes, you really are. Sorry I Darling, I'm too emotional to talk about the villain" said Zahira as she leaned spoiled in Fauzan's arms.
"Look at the positive side. Maybe God gave him a chance to correct his mistake. If he could not, perhaps by accepting fate and living the rest of his life in pain was one way he atoned for his sins first," said Fauzan wisely as he rubbed Zahira's head fondly.
Fauzan's words made Zahira smile. He was grateful to be able to marry and be loved by Fauzan. In his heart Zahira promised to learn to love Fauzan and live their marriage as best they could.
"Why are self-smiles so rich?" tanya Fauzan was suspicious.
"Father. I wonder what it was like the first night. Honestly I'm curious. But I want to do it away from here. Somewhere as romantic as possible," Zahira said as she looked at Fauzan with a meaningful smile.
"So we can practice doing the little things first. Well, let's just say it's a warm-up before it gets to the main point" Fauzan said, drawing his face closer to Zahira's face.
"What exercise do you mean?" zahira asked as she looked at Fauzan with a pounding heart.
Instead of answering the question, Fauzan's wife landed a long kiss on Zahira's lips. At first it was gentle and careful, but it slowly turned even wilder. Zahira who was surprised and a little difficult to compensate for the action of the husband was slowly starting to be able to enjoy what Fauzan did to him. Even Zahira put her arms around Fauzan's neck to make her husband smile happily.

Arungga was still standing while staring dejectedly into the room where Alina was being treated. Alina was being visited by a man. To Arungga's annoyance, the man is Yudha, their neighbor who often makes Alina cry first.
Yudha was a year younger than Arungga. Perhaps because he had no sister, Yudha often disturbed Alina to tears.
"Stop ngintipin Alina is rich. If you want, you can go inside" said Veni annoyed.
"Ga needs. I'm still upset with him for making Alina go in first" said Arungga quickly.
Arungga's words made Veni shake his head. He could not believe that his eldest son was still harboring Yudha after a dozen years had passed.
"Somehow did Mama avoid Yudha Deketin Alina anyway Ma?" ask Arungga.
"Mama can't stop Yudha from visiting Alina Ga" Veni said, to Arungga's surprise.
How not, all this time Veni is notoriously fierce if there is a man who tries to approach Alina. And usually Veni will appear as a decision maker about whether or not Alina can be in a relationship.
"I just found out Mama has a fear of people. But this is Yudha, Ma" said Arungga.
"Mama knows. But how Mama wants to deny Yudha, she's the doctor who treated Alina since the beginning of Ga!" sahut Veni flat.
Arungga was surprised then gazed into the room while closely observing. After that Arungga appeared to pat his forehead. How could he not realize that Yudha was holding a stethoscope.
"Don't you think this hospital has any other doctors besides Yudha Ma?" tanya Arungga but make Veni cluck.
When Arungga still could not believe seeing the reality in front of him, Yudha turned to look at him and smiled to make Arungga nervous.
"How are you doing Ar ?" greet doctor Yudha kindly as she steps closer to Arungga.
"Hi Yud, uh I mean doctor Yudha. Lo ... Is it really a doctor, is it Yud ?" asked Arungga hesitating to make Yudha laugh.
"Yes Ar. I've been handling Alina ever since she was brought here. Honestly I'm cool because I finally can take care of my own girlfriend here" said Yudha with a smile.
"Daughter ?. I mean Lo's dating Alina, since when is Yud ?" tanya Arungga riled.
"Lho, I think Lo already know if I'm with Alina dating," said Yudha while glancing at Veni and Arungga alternately.
Hearing Yudha's words made Arungga speech silent while Veni seemed to smile thinly. After Yudha left because she had to check on other patients, Arungga urged her to give an explanation.
"Udah is Ga, don't be overprotective. Alina's an adult and you can't take care of your sister forever. You'll get married someday, and so will Alina. After the incident that night Alina was very hit and almost depressed. But Yudha managed to raise her spirits. Mama thinks Yudha and Alina are a compatible couple. The words of the mother made Arungga aware if it was time he accepted everything including changes in his life.
