Chapter 14 - Selfishness of the Heart

It had been two days that Shiena had to rest at home. Her sprained leg made Shiena have to bed-rest and permission from the lecture for recovery for several days.

From that day on, Shiena had not heard from Willy. Shiena felt that it was a good thing. What happened between them was nothing but an error. Yes, Shiena thought of herself getting carried away until she came into physical contact with Willy that close.

The knock on the door made Shiena turn her head. Wulan came to bring food and medicine for Shiena.

"Where are you? Is it better?"

"Udah, Bunny. I'm sorry I was so pregnant with Mother and all."

Wulan smiled. "No papa, She. It's a disaster, so we can't refuse, can we?"

Shiena nodded in understanding. Wulan looked at Shiena who was now bribing food into her mouth.

"On Vishnu... Your father has forgiven him and accepted him back in the company. Your father said the company needed someone like Vishnu. You're not papa, are you?"

Previously, Shiena had asked her father to fire Vishnu, because it was considered to have mocked Shiena and also provoked Shiena until she was lost in the forest. Shiena nodded slowly.

"Son Willy and Vishnu have made up. They've forgiven each other."

Shiena frowned. "Pardon each other?"

Shiena was not informed of the incident between Vishnu and Willy. According to Prayitno, this problem will be taken care of only in a family manner.

"Your father deliberately did not want this story to you. I'm afraid you'll even be not good at everything."

"What do you mean, Mother?" Shiena did not understand.

"When he heard you were missing, son Willy was so angry with Vishnu and he had a dispute with Vishnu. Even Willy's son beat Vishnu to pieces."

Shiena gawked in disbelief.

Shiena shook her head quickly. "What the hell? Why think he's trying!"

After eating her lunch, Shiena is surprised by the arrival of her two best friends, Friska and Anila.

"Shyenaaaaaa!" exclaim both.

"Aaaaaa kalaan!" Shiena spread her arms and welcomed the embrace of her two best friends.

"Gue misses you both" Shiena said.

"We also miss the same. How are your feet? Did you go out?" ask Friska.

"Udah is good. But it still hurts to make way."

"Lo rest first. Later if it has healed enough again," said Anila.

"Yes, at least two more days is better."

After that they had a great conversation about many things. Shiena began to develop her laughter and smile. He forgets for a moment about Willy and his declaration of love.

Elsewhere, Willy and Shandy walk hand in hand out of the meeting room. Willy was eager to find out Shiena's current condition.

Willy even remembered his lips sticking together with Shiena's. Willy's face immediately flushed in light of the incident.

"Woy, dream of lo!" Shandy patted Willy on the shoulder.

"Eh, lo, Shan!" Willy tried to keep smiling.

"Lo thinks what? Shiena?"

As if knowing what his best friend was feeling, Shandy immediately asked without a stale ado.

"I-yes," Willy replied by scratching his nape.

"Shiena is fine. If you want to know more clearly, you're coming home."

Willy's worried. He did want to see Shiena's condition, but an ego kept him from leaving.

"Udah come! Come with me to the house!"

"Well?!"

Mentari began to rise to his quarrel. Shiena, Friska and Anila were still chatting so excitedly that they forgot about time.

Suddenly Shiena's room door was knocked, and Bik Imah appeared from behind the door.

"No! Can't! I'm tired, I want to sleep. You better go home too. It's malem!" Shiena instantly broke down her body and closed her eyes hugging her beloved bolster.

Friska and Anila looked at each other cluelessly with Shiena's attitude that suddenly turned fierce.

Not wanting to create an unpleasant atmosphere, Friska and Anila chose to withdraw. Bik Imah who was still waiting for Shiena's decision still stood sculpting.

Bik Imah went back to see Willy and apologized.

"Will! Willy!" Shandy's call wasn't heard by Willy.

"Bik, Willy why are you leaving?" ask Shandy riled.

"That's Den. Non Shiena doesn't want to be found by anyone. So, den Willy chose to go home."

Shandy nodded slowly. "Experience, Shiena!"

With his broad footsteps, Shandy walked towards Shiena's room. Without knocking on the door Shandy immediately opened it.

"She, what the fuck? Why don't you go see Willy?"

Shandy knew that Shiena was only pretending to be asleep.

"You know he sacrificed his life for your life! But what's your reply? You even let him meet!"

"He even made a storm with Vishnu because he was so worried about you. I can't believe you're this selfish, She!"

Shandy's voice was loud enough to attract the attention of Wulan and Prayitno.

"What the hell is it, Bang? Why are you screaming like that?" ask Wulan.

Shandy rubbed his face rough. "Mother ask the same mother's favorite child!" Shandy pointed at Shiena then left her sister's room.

Prayitno and Wulan looked at each other. They chose silence and let Shiena rest in her room.
