Broken Sword's

Broken Sword's
Ch. 14: Short Party

Fang's birthday is right in early spring. The previous years Gana and Aira had not made a birthday party because they felt that Fang was too small and would not remember anything.

Fang, who did not know that today was his birthday, woke up feeling hungry. Smelling the sweet scent, Fang peered at the kitchen. No one, so where did this smell come from? Is it from uncle Luhan's house?

"Mom? Daddy?"

Where the hell did they go?

Fang felt a small sting. Dad would never exclude himself!

Returning to the room, Fang found no trace of Gana or Aira. Really leaving herself alone at home?!

As a child growing up, surely Gana and Aira will not always carry themselves around with them like a hanger. Can't they leave before they leave?

Forgetit.

Plowing season arrives. Gana and Aira may have to go buy seeds and deliberately not bring them.

Having time alone, Fang glanced at the wardrobe in the room. Bathing and changing into his own clothes, Fang planned to go to the forest on a low hill not far from the village.

The matter of the stones being able to awaken divine power, Fang wanted to see some luck. It was possible that all those stones were not as rare as in the future, once passing by and picking them up along the way?! Hehe.

The forest is a place that is often used by seniors to heal the treasures they collect. Convinced his parents would not return so soon if they visited the county town, Fang who opened the room door was startled with boisterous cries.

(´⊙ω⊙`)!

Uncle Luhan pushed a small, self-made arrow tool.

Manda also gave her two clothes that had been sewn since a month ago.

Juan who did not bother to give a small bag of medicinal fragrances.

Buwin is coming too! The village chief participated to add to the fanfare of the event. Binding two large chickens as a gift, the counts can be cut and eaten by Fang if the boy wants to eat chicken.

Fang's small hand could not hold any more presents. "Lady..." Call him for help. Aira who was not standing far away pretended not to see.

Fang's birthday event invited almost the entire village to a big meal. Gana hired two chefs from the best restaurant in the county town and borrowed Luhan's home kitchen to cook from five in the morning.

Long tables were brought by several families to fit many people to sit down, before eight in the morning, everyone ate in excitement.

The main star, Fang was given an exclusive middle seat, had more plates to eat alone. Gana who finished welcoming all the guests and moved Fang's birthday present into the room sat beside Fang.

Tapping on the chopsticks to start eating, Gana tore off the bottom of her thigh to put it in Fang's bowl. "Eat a lot!"

Plan of travel delayed. The satiated Fang stared grievously at the pile of gifts that did not know where to take them! He's not four years old!

Gana who was the most excited, sent all the invited guests home, the man had been busy seeing this and that then asked Fang to try. Sitting on a rocking horse that was somehow given by whom, the beloved Fang loved this second life even more.

"Dad, Uncle Buwin brought two chickens. Let's bake it! Oh, on the boil is also delicious. The stew that mom cooked was delicious."

"You hungry? Any more?"

Fang blushed, "Later. I'll be hungry later!" Shamefully asked to always feel hungry, Fang hid in the room to calm down.

Just closing the door, Fang opened it again. "Dad, what gift did you give me?"

"Muahaahhaa."

Five days later Gana and Aira's gift to Fang is a bedroom. The only son of the puppet has grown bigger, it is not good if accustomed to sleeping together and make Fang a spoiled person.

A very independent fang ( ⁇ )

Baramun and the two low-ranking demons disguised themselves as elves. Lying in line to wait for the protective barrier to open, the three demons on a mission to capture Fang refrained from being tempted by the large number of humans to eat.

Since a hundred years ago, the Devil no longer refrains from drinking blood. Leaving behind the habit of drinking the blood of spirit beasts, Kuro the Demon king had allowed all of them to kidnap humans in the darkness and drink their blood in order to speed up cultivation.

The two demon subordinates were unable to last for long. Risky of being discovered and suspected when changing his original form, Baramun banishes the two little demons and enters alone into the lower region.

When crossing the arai line, the feeling of being pressed on the part of the divine force stops blurring Baramun's view. The doorkeeper knocked on the long stick, asking all the other race creatures who had come so as not to rush in.

Taking a strong breath, Baramun straightened his body. From this entrance to the village where the boy lived, it took two days by train. Baramun searched around and rented a horse carriage to get there faster.

Not half the way through, Baramun's train was intercepted by bandits. The frightened driver pulled the bridle which caused the carriage to overturn. Baramun who was not ready to be thrown until his left hand was broken.

"This man is poor!" The leader of the bandits who had found no valuables inside the carriage spat in annoyance. "Back."

The coachman wept for his badly damaged car, tried to toughen up and would give help to the master who rented his car, the coachman was made to piss. Half of Baramun's face showed his real face.

It seems that the injury to the broken hand made Baramun lose control to disguise himself. The still rational minded coachman rushed to leave his horse and carriage, running back towards the capital to report that a demon in disguise had entered into the lower region.

"Hey!!" Baramun reached out but nil. The rope that usually appears from the palm does not come out. Dragging the body from the wreckage of the train car, Baramun witnessed that the bandits had returned.

"Wow, this is a real demon!"

"Hahaha, it's not wrong to follow the boss' intuition. I heard demon horns are sold at a high price in the middle region."

Baramun cursed in his heart.

Holding a broken hand, Baramun ran from the encirclement of bandits. The despicable laughter that chased Baramun made the demon general even more vengeful. When the lower regions were captured, the first group he would kill were these Bandits!

Fang, who had no idea what was waiting for him, was hiding from Gana. Lately, his old father likes to tell him to clean the chicken coop or take grass to eat cows.

Passing through the uninhabited rickety hut, Fang walked backwards to look inside. Green Stone!
