"Sophia!" call Aiko back.
"Ee. .., we would like to join Mr. Daren Liew" Sophia said.
"For what purpose?" sniff the man. His eyes glared towards Sophia and Aiko. While his hand rubs a cleaver with the palm of the hand.
"Sophia serem" whispered Aiko. He's really scared. Seeing a person who resembles his behavior with a psychopath is scary.
"Look sir, I and Mr. Daren have an appointment to meet" Sophia explained. He's trying to calm down. It was possible that what Aiko was thinking was not what it was.
"Oh you Miss Sophia Thalia?" ask the man.
"Yes sir, right," Sophia said.
"I happen to be Daren Liew myself" replied the man who was still straining his sharp cleaver.
"Oh, Alhamdulillah" Sophia said. It turned out to be true, what Aiko was thinking was not as scary as reality.
"Yes sir, but can the cleaver be secured? I was sick to see it," said Aiko who was still afraid to see the sharp machete. His neck was interested.
"Eh yes, sorry. The habit if to the field must bring a cleaver for some clean, the cleaver was blunt just honed," said Mr. Daren.
Sophia and Aiko nodded and smiled. The tense faces of the two had already subsided. All the bad things that were thought of disappeared already. Just a complete misunderstanding.
Mr. Daren invites Sophia and Aiko into his house. Inside Mr. Daren lives with his wife and two children who are still in college. Sophia and Aiko sat together with Mr. Daren in the living room. They started talking about the problem.
"So I mean to come here to talk about the land that has been entrusted by Pak Daren's grandfather to the mosque" Sophia said.
"On that matter, I really want to take the land that belongs to our family. Teach Miss?" said Mr. Daren.
"It is not natural sir, the land has been built a mosque on it," said Aiko upset. He did not think anyone wanted to take the land that had been forgiven. Sophia held Aiko's hand. Reduce his emotions to be more patient.
"Look sir, I don't know exactly how your grandfather used to proclaim the land. But did you have that land title certificate?" ask Sophia.
"Oh, the land we just changed the name of the certificate five years ago" replied Mr. Daren.
"What's? If the certificate is still in the name of Mr. Daren's family, then how is the story of the land to be declared?" sophia thought hard. He doesn't know the exact story of the past.
"In other words, was the land that was declared without giving certificates? Is that so, sir?" ask Sophia.
"I don't know my grandfather's business, nor do the families know about Grandpa's proclamation of the land. What is clear is that the land is still on behalf of my family" replied Mr. Daren.
"What could have not been certified before? And only after Mr Daren's parents made the certificate? Or in the past when declaring, Pak Daren's grandfather did not give his certificate, "inner Sophia who is still thinking about the problem.
"I hear you want to displace the mosque that stands on the property of your family?" ask Sophia.
"I don't know about it, I just sold the land to a property magnate named Luis Aragones, the young man who might want to displace the mosque" Mr Daren replied.
"Luis Aragonese?" Sophia and Aiko were shocked when the name was called. They know who the property owner is.
"Yes, a month ago I sold the land because I needed a fee for my two children's college" said Mr. Daren.
Sophia and Aiko began to understand the situation. They understand why the mosque wants to be evicted because the landowner has sold it to the businessman. That morning Sophia and Aiko chatted for a while and said goodbye. They still have to meet the property owner.
On the way Sophia was still speechless thinking about the land. Aiko who saw Sophia was silent, asked her to speak.
"Sophia are you thinking about Luis Aragones?" ask Aiko.
"Yes, it would be difficult if we talk to him, because it is related to business" Sophia replied.
"Heh, that's right, too" said Aiko. It is undeniable that business and public interest will differ in their calculations. It will not be easy to discuss with business interests that matter.
We arrived at the Alison Barnett Company. A fairly large property company in the city of Jakarta. Sophia and Aiko enter the company and meet with the company's leader. Because Sophia's name is so familiar among business people it is not difficult for her to meet with Luis Aragones. Sophia and Aiko sat in the meeting room with Luis. They started talking in the room.
"Corn President Sophia came to see me, didn't you avoid me so much?" Luis said.
"It seems you're misinterpreting. From the beginning we have no reasonable business relationship if I do not have to accept your invitation to hang out together," replied Sophia. Luis used to invite Sophia several times to hang out with him and other business friends to just drink at his bar. Sophia always rejected him subtly.
"You're very clever. I really want to discuss the issue of the mosque on Jayakarsa Street" Sophia replied.
Luis knew where Sophia was going. She smiled cunningly looking at Sophia who was so beautiful in her eyes.
"Can we talk to you both?" ask Luis.
"Speaking together?" ask Sophia back. He was surprised Luis asked to speak to him alone.
"Yes, if you want to talk to me, it has to be both. If you don't leave this place" Luis replied.
"Sophia" whispered Aiko. She was worried about Sophia. The man seems to be after Sophia.
"Aiko wait for me outside" Sophia asked.
"But?" ask Aiko doubtfully.
Sophia just gave the code by holding Aiko's hand. Convince him that everything will be fine.
"OK," said Aiko. Then Aiko went outside from inside the room. Only Sophia and Luis sat opposite each other from a long table.
"Well, what do you want out of this?" sophia asked with a cold look.
"Sophia Thalia, you know business is business. The land wants me to build a towering apartment. The benefits I will get are many. There's no way I'm going to stop the eviction" Luis said.
"But above ground is a mosque, a place of worship, where your conscience is" Sophia said.
"Romania? If business were like that, I would never be rich, and that's my right. I've bought it legitimately from the owner directly" Luis replied.
"I don't want to argue long. How much do you ask to stop the eviction?" sophia asked directly without having to argue for a long time. It's clear Luis will not back down.
"10 Trillion" Luis said.
"What's? That's a lot" Sophia said in surprise. The range of land around Jalan Jayakarsa is not that expensive. At least 5 billion have also been. Sophia thought Luis was deliberately taking advantage of his personal interests.
"Why? I've been working with investors for the construction. Surely I don't want to lose. Anyway if that apartment stands my advantage very much. The location is strategic," Luis stressed.
Sophia fell silent. 10 Trillion is not a little money. He must count all the money he has if he negotiates now.
Luis approached Sophia. Stand behind him. He leaned his body down. There was a slight distance between Sophia's body and hers.
"If you pay with your body, I'll take off the land" Luis whispered.
Sophia was silent. Luis' words were not published. But Luis' hands started to get brazen. Creeping on Sophia's shoulder. Sophia stood up and moved away.
"I came here to negotiate instead of fulfilling your bed fantasy" Sophia said, pointing at Luis.
Luis smiled faintly at Sophia's anger.
"Sophia-Sophia, I'm one of the men who likes beauty especially those who are still closed, of course, make me curious" said Luis.
"Stop! You're a company leader not a pervert on the streets. Be polite!" Sophia.
"Sopper? Is your husband polite? Didn't he often stick it into every lub" Luis said, stopping as Sophia slapped him.
Ply ...
"Sophiaa!" Luis was upset while holding his cheek that Sophia slapped.
Sophia was undaunted. He looked at Luis with a cold look.
"I'll pay as you ask, but don't demean my husband" Sophia said. Then out of the room very disappointed. Outside Aiko is tensely waiting for Sophia. When Sophia went outside she was silent. Not saying a word. Even when in the car. Sophia was silent. Makes Aiko anxious.
"What happened to Sophia?" inner Aiko. He was sure something had happened. There was no way Sophia would be silent.
