OVERNIGHT at the top or maybe another name is camping has made me a little dizzy.
Not because of the horror atmosphere, the bed was not soft or some mosquitoes were ringing in my ears. But the screams of the boys who are still awake at 01:22. I hope they don't disturb the peace of others around.
"Hey, you guys. Can you shrink the sound for just a little bit?" reprimanding Sherly by sticking her head out of the tent and feeling furious after powerless to hold patience over the commotion outside.
"More fun playing charles-charles!" Kai replied with a loud volume.
"Charlie-charlie, whoa!" vin and River sahut simultaneously in his speech.
Sherly's reprimand does not want to be heard until feeling annoyed, then back into the tent with resignation. Well, I finally had to intervene just for the sake of a good night's sleep.
I raised my head out while staring cynically at the horde of guys who were staring seriously at the pencil on the paper. "Can you go back to sleep? Look at the clock."
Instantly they nudged each other and an awkward air enveloped. Without speaking again, all entered their respective tents simultaneously. As a result, calmness is present.
I can finally fall asleep.
The next morning, we woke up and breakfast cup noodles were available at a small hut stall near this location. Maybe because we arrived at night in dark conditions until from the beginning did not realize the existence of the stall that camouflaged among the trees.
A cool peak, plus a hot-hot noodle meal is a little heavenly delight.
"Tonight is the last time a leonid meteor is present, maybe we will spend the night once again" said Kurt who was fiddling with one of the tents.
Vin, who was still munching on his fried noodles, began to reply, "Once, we're going around."
"Well," Megan continued as a beard.
"You're actually trying to avoid evaluation, aren't you?" chirp Kai before he laughed out loud to get a shot from Vin and Megan.
I started asking, "What valuation?"
As time stopped for a moment, everyone looked at me in surprise. Then, they looked at each other like they were coding for something that was kept secret from me.
"Evaluation of employee performance, Manager." The DJ spoke up and his turn became the center of the spotlight. "Reading data from your observations in the development or decline of our performance."
After understanding DJ's explanation, I paused for a moment before saying, "Cancel it. There's no need for anything serious on this fun day."
The sighs of relief from everyone had been exhaled. I became wondering just how frightening my evaluation was for all of them until tension came up all of a sudden. Actually, I canceled that because I didn't know what to tell them. The evaluation data must be in my work space at the cafe.
Kai started to smile broadly. "My train will start cutting salaries because the behavior is too minus in the cafe."
Sherly points to Kai using the plastic fork he used to eat noodles. "Lo, Kai, cut the pay. We're gonna go up on pay."
After finishing breakfast and cleaning up, we went around the top. Seeing the many monkeys to make Sherly run in panic, go to the tea garden and listen to horror stories about the residents of the highlands from coffee shop sellers. Impressive like a schoolboy outing, but pretty fun.
It felt a little strange because there was not the slightest bit of danger present to me.
At nightfall, there was no difference from before when watching the meteor shower. Then, the next morning we went to the villa because to settle their personal affairs. For example, like a shower, two days without a shower is a very unnatural thing. Although the air is cold to not provoke the sweat smell flowing.
CRINGS!
My phone rang just as my feet had stepped on the floor of the villa. It was called 'Zeha' and I picked it up without delay.
"ASHLEY!"
My eardrum nearly broke when I heard Zeha's scream. Lucky I did not install the 'loud speaker' feature at this time.
Upon entering my private room, my mouth answered, "What's wrong?"
"Lo's cafe is this crowded, huh?" After Zeha said that, I changed the crowd, and I guessed that it was the cafe customers. "Lo do not prepare food from the menu for us to provide to direct customers?"
It didn't occur to me to prepare a cafe for the Cate members. I thought they could manage everything because they already had such a mature plan. Hopefully the cafe kitchen is not messy due to their panic in preparing and serving customer orders. Not feeling lost or lazy to clean, but pity Kurt and Vin who served as chefs.
"Serve a menu that you can make. Give a reason to run out of stock on a menu that you can't make," I said.
Zeha sighed before replying, "Continue, when does the Target usually come to the cafe? He didn't come yesterday!"
It's impossible that Zack didn't come to the cafe. I told him yesterday that the cafe would open.
"Hey, wait, coordinate us first!"
"Call and ask for coordination with the DJ."
Without a pause, I turned off the phone call and rushed straight into the bathroom. There's nothing to worry about. They just want to interrogate Zack, not kill him. After all, they were just a bunch of girls, whereas Zack was a guy who was definitely stronger than a girl. Plus, he has so many experiences that it can make it easy to escape when entangled in the traps of Cate members.
After bathing and changing clothes, I went outside the room until finally greeted by the presence of a DJ standing in front of my room.
"They're a fuss." DJ complained while pointing his phone in front of me. "Is there a solution?"
My head is slowly shaking. "That was your plan. My job is to confirm."
His forehead scrunched up a sign of displeasure with my words. Their job was to have no interference, because I wasn't the Ashley they knew. I don't want to be mean to someone who thinks I'm more important than his life.
"Lo's really acting boss, Ley." DJ responded to me with insults.
I'm nodding. "Yes, I'm the boss here. Is there a problem?"
If they want me to be a bad girl who plays around with someone's feelings, then I'll show you what a real bad impression is.
"Lo became a manager because I was with the goal of doing my job. Why are you suddenly like this?" His eyes looked at me sharply while saying a thin-pitched sentence.
What boyfriend? He is better suited as a rival and nothing more than a friend.
"Yes, you're the manager" I said softly. Then, I walked away towards the main dining table which was already filled with villager.
Their stomachs are like rubber. In fact, I still feel full with cup noodles eaten while at the top.
"Manager, after this, what are we gonna do?" Vin asked after I occupied one of the chairs.
"What are the tours here? Come, I'll set you free" I replied.
The commotion had started with some of the recommendations of the place they mentioned until the nyolot was solotizing each other. I should have been decisive, but this is a tour of employees who function to improve their performance and eliminate the sense of shame. Well, although it has nothing to do with improving performance, but at least there is a pleasant impression that the cafe gives them.
"Deal up! We're going to the farm in the north. Fruit and vegetables!" exclaim Kai after getting the consensus results from a joint discussion that I did not participate in. I don't know what they think, isn't gardening tiring enough?
We went to the tea garden yesterday. They must be plantation lovers.
Vin put on a bete face. "The cave hates the park."
"We're going to the garden, Vin. Not a park." Sherly replied.
"Just like," said Vin.
Everyone got up from their seats after being content to talk and spend the meal on the table. But excepting myself. Unexpectedly, River realized my silence.
"Manager, don't you go?" River threw me a question and confused me. Since when did he start caring by the surroundings?
Shaking his head in denial and staring at the phone screen, I replied, "No, I'll be here."
River wasn't satisfied with my answer until he asked again. "Is there a problem?
"No, go River. Tell the others that I'm not coming." After saying a reply as well as an order, River fell silent for a while then caught up with the others.
Not because I hate the plantation or get tired. Except now is July 26th. My previous death happened with consecutive dates. If it is the same as in the past, then the dangerous day is now. Dangerous when I roam outside with no one to protect. Although Zack said about the distress that remained before July 30th, but still my estimate was stronger. It's still four days to secure myself, I have to be careful.
TLING'S!
Notification from Zack appears.
