Shoe Sound

Grandma looked very sad throughout the trip. Te Apoyo was confused. He saw a shoe dealer on a five-footed. There are a lot of shoes out there. The shoes are new. But all those mock shoes.

Te Apoyo pulled the grandmother's hand to the place. And without being told to choose the shoes that were there. But nothing fits his feet. The grandmother who had just been silent just glanced at the seller.

"Let's see first. Who knows, if it fits later stay wrapped." said the seller.

"Wrapped what? It's free?" grandma says. Sellers laugh.

"No grandma. The price can be bid. Grandma choose first. About the price later." said the seller friendly.

From earlier many who glanced at his shoes but no one stopped by. He almost intended to roll his mat and go home if Te Apoyo did not stop by.

"How much is this?" ask grandma later.

Ta Apoyo looked at the shoes that grandma had chosen. The shape is similar to the one in the store. But the price is enough with the money that grandma brought.

"Hey just try this one!" grandma said to Te Apoyo excited back.

Te Apoyo tried it with pleasure. Grandma told him to wear a pair. Then pay.

"Grandma want to buy this for me?" ask Te Apoyo. Grandma nodded and smiled proudly.

"Oh make a lot of money" said Te Apoyo.

My grandmother took him somewhere else. He invited her to eat a bowl of meatballs. With the rest of the money. Te Apoyo was actually not feeling well. But seeing Grandma was very happy, he also tried to enjoy the meatballs.

After returning home Te Apoyo gave money to the grandmother in exchange for shoes.

"Eh no need. Grandma adlas. Studying hard to be rich. Let's not be scavengers like grandma." she smiled. But it certainly seems that he is sad. Not because of the money but because of something else.

"Makasi ya nek, then. Oh yeah, in exchange. Will grandma have dinner at my house tonight?" ask Te Apoyo.

"Roof. Grandma's old, find another girl to introduce to your parents. Grandma already thinks of you like grandma's own granddaughter." said grandma. Te Apoyo smiled at the grandmother's joke.

"But if you insist, grandma will come. Grandma's money is over. Ahaha!"

The grandmother beat Te Apoyo's shoulders in anxiety. I don't know why the sadness disappeared.

"If grandma's granddaughter were here, you'd be best friends. Unfortunately, she had never seen Grandma. But you're here. I don't know why it feels like seeing my own grandchild. If you can't see my granddaughter, at least from today you're my granddaughter." said the granny smilingly showing her partially dated teeth. Te Apoyo looked at him amusedly and he smiled.

The grandmother had dinner with the Te Apoyo family. When he finished eating, he wanted to go home. But it was detained by Te Apoyo's parents. He stayed at the Te Apoyo house.

That night her grandmother told her a lot about her son. Starting from small until he wandered and married overseas without being able to see. Only once did he get in touch with his son through a video call. Using the cell phone of a neighbor. But that's just once.

"At that time his wife was pregnant, they said their future baby boy" said the grandmother reminiscing about her past. Tired of telling stories grandma was asleep in the front room with them.

Grandma was fast asleep, and she seemed to have had a very beautiful dream. And in his dream he was picked up by his son and daughter-in-law.

"Why are we three? My granddaughter's not coming?" ask grandma in her dream.

"Let him play first. Later if he is tired of playing, we will pick him up." said his son with a smile.

"But it's a danger that he's left alone" said the grandmother.

"No ma, he has good people around him. So we don't have to worry" said his son-in-law.

Then they left the boy. Who was playing in a park. And when he saw them leave, he just waved his hand and smiled.

"Actually I have one more grandchild" said the grandmother on the trip.

"The name is Te Apoyo." said the granny smiling proudly.

"Good then, Tomi will have friends. Isn't it baby?" said the grandmother's daughter-in-law and her son also nodded.

Their journey is further away. And their shadows are no longer visible. By the grandson who secretly cried for the departure of the three members of his family.

And in the real world the cloaked creature seemed to have swung its scythe and disappeared. Te Apoyo shook the body of the grandmother. But there was no reaction at all. Because he is dead age.

Elsewhere Tomi cries in her room she dreams of a husband and wife and a grandmother saying goodbye to her. Although I do not know them for sure. He felt sad when they left him.

At 04:00 grandma died. People around the grandmother's house helped with the funeral procession after they got word from Te Apoyo's family.

No one was prejudiced against the family even though the grandmother died in their home. Because many know that the Te Apoyolah family has been the most concerned about the condition of the grandmother.

From that day on, they realized that Te Espere no longer had the desire to jump into the fire even though he saw the fire in front of his eyes. He was afraid and avoided it.

Since then Te Apoyo and Te Espere have been able to sleep at night even though their body temperature is still hot. But the temperature has diminished. Te Espere can even sleep without having to be on top of an ice cube. He just needs to set his room temperature to the lowest temperature

As usual, Te Apoyo returned to Dion's grandfather's house every Saturday. When he opened the door he saw that there were many traces of shoes in the house. He's trying to figure out who entered Grandpa's house. But no one was inside the house.

At night he slept in the house. And heard the sound of people walking non-stop in the house. And when the lights were turned on the sound of the steps stopped. Te Apoyo thought he was hallucinating so he pressed the button off the lights in the living room.

And when the lights went out, the sound of shoes began to sound again. Te Apoyo did the same thing over and over again. And the result remains the same. He doesn't know what's going on. But as long as he felt that they were not hurting him, he chose to ignore them.

He covered his ears with a pillow and tried to sleep in his room with the lowest temperature air conditioner.
