Jerome helped the old man put his book back and put the medical book on the shelf.

"Hey, Son. Do you like reading medical books? Do you know anything about medicine?"

The old man saw Jerome holding a book

medicine, and he was interested. "There are young people now who have the patience to read medical books" he thought.

"I know a little about medicine, but I

read it to fill time."

Jerome had already memorized the entire contents of the book, but he did not understand everything. There's still a lot he has to learn.

"Haha, right. Read with that attitude, and you will get what you want. Son, will you have dinner with me?"

Jerome was a bit dumbfounded, but he said with a smile, "Well, what do you want to eat?"

let you pay for it."

Jerome shook his head and went down with the old man.

They talk a lot on the way. Jerome was surprised to find out this old man knew many types of classic books. He even helped Jerome solve a lot of puzzles.

The old man looked at Jerome in surprise. He thought Jerome was an interesting young man. They have a lot in common.

They left school together. However, when the old man stopped, Jerome was startled and asked, "Hey, Great Lord Connor, this is the place with good food?"

Jerome stared at the grill in front of him with a blank look.

"What's? You don't like roast meat? Do you know what? This restaurant's been open for thirty years, and it tastes really good."

Great Lord Connor stroked his beard and said to Jerome proudly, "This is my secret, don't tell anyone!"

Jerome could not say anything, but he ordered some food after sitting down with "Great Master Connor."

"Hey, I haven't eaten this for a long time, and I'll enjoy it today. Now my family doesn't let me eat meat. I'm so greedy."

Great Lord Connor ordered a lot of food and took out a bottle from his bag. He grinned and offered the drink to Jerome, then he kept it.

"Hey, you don't drink?"

"I have a stomach problem. I can eat meat, but I can't drink. My family will be upset if they know I drink."

Great Lord Connor looked at Jerome with envy. Jerome didn't know what to say. He muttered, "So you brought your own bottle of wine, but you shouldn't drink it?"

Jerome shook his head. But suddenly, he gripped the waist of Great Lord Connor and said, "I think you're healthy. If you want, I

got a way to get you to drink and eat meat today."

"really? You kidding?" Great Lord Connor was surprised that many doctors said there was no cure for his illness. "Did he have a good idea?" thought.

"Just enjoy your drinks and food. Don't worry, and I'll keep you healthy" Jerome said with a smile.

However, Great Lord Connor laughed, after being stunned for a while.

"It's true, I'm getting older and scared. Alright, I will obey today. If I don't drink and eat meat, life is meaningless."

Great Lord Connor waved at a servant and said, "I want more beef and mutton, thank you."

The servant replied, then turned and returned

The restaurant owner apologized and calmed them down.
