FIONA
Chapter 4

One month Dave left it. And this one month too Fiona never smiled. It seems like Dave's departure has brought happiness to him. Especially with the reason of dying by suicide is an impossible thing.

Dave loves him and Fiona loves Dave for what the man killed himself for. Even they had planned something beautiful and why Dave killed himself.

Fiona still feels some awkwardness about Dave's death. But clearly the doctor at the hospital said that Dave died from hanging himself. Fiona is a little lucky not to see firsthand how Dave's body hangs with the rope that ties her neck.

Now all of Dave's companies and assets have been renamed to Fiona's, but that doesn't bring him happiness. Dave's absence on his side is like no life in his life.

Until Fiona's cell phone calls divert the woman's attention. Jack called. Did something happen to Dave's company until the assistant contacted him.

Yes though all the assets and the company are already on Fiona's behalf but in Dave's company, Fiona only comes once in a while if there's something urgent important like a meeting with some of the rest of the investors she leaves everything to Jack.

Jack was very understanding, taking care of two big companies was not an easy thing. Even though Dave is gone, he will promise himself to always take care of Fiona as much as he took care of Dave during his life.

"What's Jack?"

"Look Miss Fio tomorrow there's the latest real estate inauguration, can you come?" Jack's voice answered across the phone.

Fiona seems to still be thinking, after all, now she is the leader of the company of the late Dave. So he had to professionally come in as a leader and leave his selfish side.

"All right, I'll come."

"Thank you Miss Fio, tomorrow I'll pick up the lady at the mansion."

"Ah, Jack, I have something to talk to you about, can you come to my company now?"

"Miss Fio, I'll be there soon."

After that Fiona immediately turned off her phone. There's something important he should ask Jack. Something was stuck in his heart. He can't take Dave's departure for granted. He believes there is something behind Dave's death that is questionable.

Fiona sighed, thinking about Dave again like opening a gaping wound. Fiona is unsure after Dave's departure she is able to open her heart back to men.

When Fiona was daydreaming suddenly the door was knocked by someone from outside.

"Miss Fio there's a Mr. Jack wants to see you!" Said Bella friend and secretary from Fiona.

"Come in!"

The two of them enter Fiona's office. A large room with a luxurious design in accordance with the look of Fiona.

"How are you Jack?" Fiona asked as Jack sat in the front seat and Bella followed Jack's lead across from Fiona.

"Well miss."

"I want to say something to both of you because I believe you can help me!"

"It disturbs my mind and soul."

They both frowned in wonder if it was so important that it disturbed Fiona's mind, what it had to do with Dave.

"Have you guys ever thought about Dave's gaffe I feel like there's something behind it all?" Fiona then looked at the two in turn.

Bella was a best friend when she was in high school. He already knew how Fiona's attitude and nature were. They never hide anything from each other. It could be said if they were brothers not friends anymore because of their closeness.

"I don't understand what you mean Fio?" Ask Bella who does not understand where this conversation is going while Jack just listened.

"Did you ever think that Dave would end his life that way. Don't you know how strong Dave is in dealing with all his problems?"

"So Miss Fio?" Jack asked, and he began to understand where this conversation was going.

"I feel like there's been some awkwardness in Dave's death. I'm sure he didn't kill himself but he was killed." His eyes radiated pain and emptiness alternately.

"We have the same idea, miss. I've also thought that way but the doctor stated that if you didn't experience physical violence and it was pure suicide." Jack also expressed his thoughts. He thought about it, but he still hesitated.

"But Fio, you know for yourself, not if Dave is a good man, how could he possibly have enemies?" Bella also began to express her opinion.

"I know but in this business world nothing is impossible Bel. You know for yourself that there are also sister brothers who are willing to hurt each other in order to have a high position."

It is true that nothing is impossible in this world. A treasure is something that is essential for human beings. Without treasure we sometimes have no price in the eyes of others.

It was no surprise that someone sister brother was willing to hurt each other for the sake of a treasure. Bella shuddered in horror at the thought of how people did vile things to obtain a treasure.

"You're right about Fio, too, but what if Dave was killed and his body hung as if he killed himself?"

"I don't know and that's what I want to find out. How you guys want to help me complete this mission. I know for a fact that Dave's not calm at the moment." Fiona said she looked at her eyes radiating a deep sadness.

Both Jack and Bella seemed to hesitate. It's not that they don't want to help Fiona. They only think about what if Fiona is in trouble if they find out about it.

"Give all this to me Miss I will seek justice for you!" Jack replies he doesn't want to until Fiona comes into direct contact with Dave's killers.

"Not that I can't count on you, Jack, I just can't stand idly by and just wait for news from you." That is the nature of Fiona that sometimes makes them overwhelmed. Fiona's ingrained stubbornness.

"But that lady will put your life at risk, I'm not risking your life with this."

"Jack Fio said, we better wait for the news from Jack!"

"No, I'm gonna figure this out my own way. I can definitely." Fiona's words were convincing.
