CHAPTER 63. SEEKING DEVANI

Mahen hurriedly returned to the Andara family home, he wanted to ascertain whether Devani had indeed disappeared or had returned home.

By the time she arrived home, Mama Intan and Papa Andara and her parents and Hans had already gathered there.

"How's Ma, Pa, any word on Devani?" ask Mahen.

The place looked lonely, not a single friend of Devani was there.

Upon arrival, the house seemed deserted, with only the entrance guards. Seeing Mahen and Bastian wailing, the doorman approached them and asked, "Sorry Deck, find who?"

"Must be at the house, sir?" ask Mahen.

"Devani's missing!" answer Mahen.

"What! How can? Where is your wife's candidate?"

"There is, but I'm not sure yet" Mahen replied.

"I'm sorry Hen, tomorrow's your wedding day, what if he's not found" said Gara, making Mahen more anxious.

"I'll keep looking for Gar, until I find him. If there is no news in two days, I will report to the police" Mahen said.

Then Mahen said again, "It was Gar, sorry to keep you waiting. I'm going around looking for Devani" said Mahen.

"Yes buddy, hopefully soon found yes," said Gara.

After Mahen ended his call, Gara immediately called Lusy. He suspects that Mahen's disappearance has something to do with Lusy's obsession with thwarting Mahen's marriage.
