123. Arjo's Regret
"Don't cry, I picked you up because your mother and father were on the plane. We're going to Japan for your father's surgery" Reno said gently as she extended her hand for Novi to approach.

"Every master" the man replied as he stepped into the car to take over the wheel of the existing Novi family. They eventually left the airport heading to one of the best hospitals in the country.

"The patient will be ready for surgery tomorrow at 10 am" said one of the doctors entrusted with Veron's father.
They just nodded as a sign of understanding. After that, the doctor came out because it was almost late at night.
"Rest in bed with mom, I'll take care of dad temporarily" Reno said to Novi, who looks very tired on an 11-hour flight.
"Well, can we talk for a second?" asked Novi softly to Reno.
"Rest, because tomorrow will drain your energy and your mind. If all is well, can you talk anytime?" said Reno in a soft tone while rubbing Novi's head affectionately.
Although he did not get a chance to answer all his curiosity, but he had to hold back until his father's operation was completed.
After going through a long forced drama, Novi finally went to the bed that was prepared there especially for him and his mother.
The two women at different ages ended up sleeping tonight because Renolah was looking after the father while monitoring his work through a laptop.
Early in the morning Novi and the mother had woken up and found Reno still with a laptop on his lap with glasses still perched on his nose.
"Ka, sleep for a while" said Novi who just woke up with his pillow face.
"Wake up, baby?" reno said relax.

Novi felt strange about a call he hadn't heard in a long time.
"Yes, go to bed for a while. I'll wake you up when it's time for surgery." Novi slightly forced the man to take a break.
