Chapters 17. Sean's Offerings.

Tian Zhi included his soul power while making the spear eyes that were now in Shiena's hands. Between the energy present within his body and the energy flowing from Shiena's body fused within the spear's eye. The combination of the two forces synergized with each other and produced incredible energy.

Even though it was just exercise, the energy waves emitted were felt to a considerable distance. Sean came while Shiena was studying with her spear. Arriving at the front yard of Shiena's house, her body felt strange like there was energy connected to her coming from a place not too far away.

Shiena also felt astonished as the energy from the spear in her hand increased abruptly. He stopped his training and left his room. The owner of the same energy as the spear was in the surroundings.

Sean did not feel any more of his energy connected to other energies after Shiena stored back his spear. He who had been fixated was surprised by the call of the driver under Shiena's motorbike. I don't know how long he daydreamed so he didn't realize if the motor had been taken down from the car that was transporting him.

"Sorry, Sir. Can I leave now?" ask the driver to Sean.

Sean seemed to flounder but tried to control himself quickly. He did not want to look stupid even in front of an unknown person.

"Oh, yeah, sorry I forgot. I've been trying to remember a job I might have missed." Sean then reached into fear of his pants and pulled out a number of banknotes.

"This is a little money tips for you," Sean added.

The driver who delivered Sean's motorbike looked very happy to receive tips from him. The amount is quite a lot, probably equivalent to his salary for one week.

"Thank you very much, sir. If you need something you can call me again" the driver said before leaving.

Sean nodded.

A few of Shiena's servants came up to Sean and asked him about his arrival. They had no idea that Shen Shen had previously tried to dissuade Sean from coming. Without a second thought they let Sean into the house. However, when Sean had just arrived at the door, Shiena had already walked out from inside the house.

Shen Shen dashed around a little behind Shiena to make sure that her lie would not be exposed.

"Hi, Shiena! Sorry bothering you. I heard from Shen Shen if you're not feeling well?" sean asked when the two had faced each other.

Shiena knew that Shen Shen was behind her. She turned to him and saw his eyes flickering as if giving him a gesture. Shiena did not understand the intent of the blink but she quickly understood.

"How are you doing now? Do I need to call a doctor?" ask Sean understanding.

Shiena did not answer him immediately but she hurriedly waved both her hands in front of her chest.

"No .. not necessary. After resting I am fine," Shiena replied.

His eyes shifted to the same new motor unit as the image Sean showed last night.

Sean followed Shiena's direction by turning his head back.

"Oh, this is the bike I promised you. Let's see!" exclaim Sean.

"This motorbike is very comfortable must be very expensive. Would you not feel the loss of giving this gift for free to me?" ask Shiena.

"I'm so happy for your hard work. Long enough I was harmed by Leo and Hazzel, I don't know how many detectives and secret agents I hired but none of them managed to handle this case" said Sean.

Shiena nodded.

"It's a really hot day I'll try it later. I have some things I want to tell you. Let's just talk inside!" Shiena got off her bike and walked out of her yard with Sean.

Sean followed behind without much question. Looking at Shiena's serious face, she was sure that there was something important she wanted to talk about.

Arriving inside the house Shiena invites Sean to sit down. They chose the living room to talk. Not long after they sat down, Shen Shen came over to offer a drink but Shiena gave her a gesture not to bother her at the moment.

Shen Shen left from there and waited for Shiena's order.

"Your face looks very serious, do you have a problem?" sean started the conversation.

Shiena seemed to be sighing and then exhaling violently. His heart was completely aching as he recalled the head of the Golden Eagle suspecting him for actions he had not done. He did not understand why Mr. Pho accused him of cooperating with outsiders.

"From today on I no longer work in the Golden Eagle's office. You can still use their services even if I don't handle them later" Shiena said in a lazy-sounding voice.

Sean sorted his forehead. He thinks it's very strange. Shiena was an overachieving figure in the Golden Eagle secret agent it was hard to believe if she just gave up her job while she already had a good name there.

"Didn't you feel sorry for giving up that job? Are you not a member of the achievers? How did your boss respond when he found out you were resigning?" asked Sean.

"I didn't get any appreciation from the Golden Eagle secret agent even my superiors suspected I had teamed up with an outsider to complete the mission from you. Isn't this very painful? I can't stand it anymore and I'd rather be idle at home to do what I want to do" Shiena explained.

Sean seemed to be thinking he was trying to digest the word for word Shiena said. As a person who had just known each other he had no right to rule Shiena's life. However, the feeling of familiarity makes him very caring for this woman who he thinks is very unique.

This was the first time Sean had felt so comfortable being close to a woman. Previously he was famous for being very indifferent and arrogant. His cold attitude made the woman who tried to approach him could not bear to the point that both his parents were bored to match him.

"Actually I have a job vacancy at my company but I don't know if you like it or not. All this time we are in a different field but you can work while studying. I won't sue you with much work if you agree to cooperate with me." Sean offered a job to Shiena.

Shiena looked at Sean with an elusive order. The two stared at each other without even uttering a word. In a few moments the atmosphere in the room became this silent.

They look awkward when they realize that the two are looking at each other and dissolve in a wave of feelings that they do not understand.

"I can't answer it now, maybe I need some time to calm my mind." Shiena did not refuse or accept Sean's offer

Sean looked disappointed but he could not impose his will on Shiena.
