the voice in the darkness

One dark and silent night, Sarah was sitting in her room, finishing her college assignments. Suddenly, he felt lonely and goosebumps in the middle of a silent night.

Sarah: (Whispering to herself) I feel weird tonight. Something's not right.

Suddenly, Sarah's phone rang. He saw a call coming in from Ryan.

Sarah: (lifting phone) Hello, Ryan. What was?

Ryan: (anxious voice) Sarah, I'm off campus. Please open the door, right now!

Sarah: (surprised) Ryan, what happened? Why are you outside of college?

Ryan: (panicked voice) I was chased by something. I fear. Please open the door!

Sarah immediately opened the door of her room and saw Ryan with a deathly pale face and gasping for breath.

Sarah: (panicked) Ryan, come on in! What the hell is it?

Ryan: (sighs) I was walking alone around campus. Suddenly, I heard a strange voice behind me. When I turned around, there was nothing. But the voice got closer and I ran.

Sarah: (anxious) What voice do you hear?

Ryan: (tremor) It was like a whisper, but I couldn't understand what they were saying. It feels cold and gripping.

Maya, Sarah's roommate, emerges from her room after hearing the commotion.

Maya: What the hell is it, you two? Why do you hear a noise?

Sarah: Ryan was being chased by something. He said there was a strange sound.

Maya: (fear) What do you mean by strange sounds?

Ryan: (shaking) I don't know, Maya. But it was so scary. I felt like I was being watched, like someone was following me.

As they speak, the lights in Sarah and Maya's room suddenly go out. Darkness enveloped them.

Sarah: (panic) Why is the light off?

Maya: (anxious) What is this? The atmosphere is getting creepy.

As they tried to find the light switch, they heard the sound of footsteps in the approaching hallway.

Mysterious Voice: (in a whisper) You can't leave here. I'll haunt you guys forever.

Maya: (tremor) We need to get out of here, right now!

In the gripping darkness, they ran looking for the exit while hearing strange noises behind them.

They ran towards the main door of the campus, but the door was tightly locked and could not be opened. All three feel trapped and increasingly threatened by an unseen presence.

Sarah: (gasps) The door is locked! We have to find another way!

Ryan: (fear) I heard the door creaking, but still it couldn't open. What the hell is going on?

Maya: (argument) What's wrong with this place? Why is everything so scary?

Suddenly, they heard the sound of footsteps getting closer, and dark shadows flashed in the corridor.

Mysterious Voice: (whimpering) You will not be able to escape. I have been waiting for a long time to take your souls.

Sarah: (shaking) We must find a hiding place. There's a basement in the old building over here. Maybe we can find a way out of there.

Without hesitation, the three ran towards the old building that was a few meters away from the campus. The moment they entered the building, the atmosphere grew gloomy and felt filled with an evil presence.

Ryan: (gasps) Is this the right place? It's getting worse.

Maya: (anxious) I feel like something's been following us since. We gotta move fast!

They roamed the dark basement using their cell phone flashlights as lighting. At every corner, they could feel an evil and goosebumps existence.

Mysterious Voice: (terrible laughter) You will never escape from here. Your souls will be mine!

They continued on with a growing sense of fear. Eventually, they found a ladder that led to the surface.

Sarah: (relieved) Stairs! We're almost out!

They quickly ran up the stairs, and finally came out of the old building. All three were relieved to have managed to escape from the horrors that were inside.

Ryan: (laughing breath) We are finally free. May we never experience anything like this again.

Maya: (shaking) I still felt something was following us, but at least we made it out.

They looked back, and there was nothing in sight inside the old building. The horrors they experience may dwell in terrible memories.

However, until now, they could still feel the aura of darkness that surrounded the campus, reminding them of the gripping night and unforgettable mysterious sounds.
