007. I’am (Not) a Marionette (I'm not a marionette doll)
“Ratuku, open the door.”
Kayena heard. The heavy sound coming from the front door of the room entered the sense of hearing when his body was just lying on the bed.
“It turns out that the tyrant king has come,” muttered Kayena. There is no intention to get out of bed. He had already left a message, the man should have easily understood.
Though in his previous life, the man often looks reluctant when carrying out his obligation to visit. Even when it came to visiting though, the man would rush off in the early hours after completing his obligations as a husband. She never shared a bed with Kayena.
“Ratuku, open the door.”
Twice the man opened his voice. I don't know how far his patience has lasted. Kayena wants to know.
“You can open the door yourself from the inside, or I will forcefully open it from the outside.”
“Bluffs?” Kayena smiled as she changed her position to sit leaning on the headboard.
He should have rested quietly, if the noises that cause noise out there do not enter the sense of hearing. I don't know what her husband did, so it creates a very disturbing noise. Not long after, Kayena let out a small jolt when she heard a buzzing sound from behind the door. Is it possible that the man didn't mess around about his bluff?
Kayena should have remembered earlier if Kaizen never stopped before getting what she wanted.
“Haish.” A small sigh was heard from the owner of the beautiful woman who had just lowered her legs.
If left any longer, the Robelia king could have smashed the door of his room. Kayena also decided to end the game with a cocky taste. Before opening the door, Kayena first grabbed the sleeping robe to cover the lacy nightgown that had been attached to her body.
“What commotion are you doing in front of my room, Your Highness?” That sentence was the first greeting Kayena made when she managed to open the door.
The people gathered at the door looked down respectfully at Kayena, except for Kaizen. The handsome man looked smiling obliquely with both hands folded in front of his chest.
“Only a small commotion caused by me not being able to enter my wife's room,” she replied later. With wide steps he approached his beautiful wife who looked ready to rest on the contest.
“This drama was made by my own wife,” he added when he managed to get closer to the wife. “Tonight you dive me crazy Queen (tonight you drove me crazy).”
Kayena stared at her interlocutor carelessly. “I'm just feeling tired, Your Honor. I want to rest in peace tonight.”
“Alright,” sahut Kaizen. “I know you've been very busy lately,” he continued, grabbing his wife's wrist. “Therefore, it is better now we immediately go in and rest.”
Kayena widened her eyes in disbelief. He thought the man would return to his room. Who would have thought if he remained “hard head” as usual. Inevitably, tonight Kayena must be stuck with the man who has incised deep wounds in her previous life.
“I'm really tired, Your Highness.” Kayena opened her voice as they arrived in the middle of the room. He had already created too much distance since Kaizen entered his room.
“I won't do it if you're tired.”
“Thank you, Your Highness.” Kayena turned around, about to go back to bed. “Finely Your Majesty also returned to the main palace, because I ..”
“What's wrong with you, Kayena?” Kaizen cut off Kayena's sentence with her hand reaching for his wife's wrist.
“I'm fine Your Highness.” Kayena answered without looking. He never thought if he was reluctant to be in a room with Kaizen this big.
Kayena felt her chest tight every time she looked at the man who had given her 4 handsome sons in her previous life. The same man who had made him take the extreme decision, which was to end life with his own hands.
In one blow, Kaizen managed to make Kayena turn around. Stare at him. Because of the harshness of the blow, the sleeping robe that Kayena used until sagging on one side. The cloak is not tied firmly, only allowed to form a braid on the bond section.
“You changed, Kayena.”
After quietly taking part between them, Kaizen spoke up again. He could easily catch a significant change in Kayena's attitude. His wife was too predictable, but that was before. Before his wife displayed a very significant change at the feast of the feast of the birth of the great concubine.
“I just want to go back to being a tough woman, not a weak woman due to the death of her son.”
That answer pulled a squeak on Kaizen's forehead. “Sorry about the anniversary of our son's death. I don't mean to forget it.”
“My son is indeed no more important than your illegitimate lover, Your Majesty.” Kayena replied sarcastically.
“Dragon talks, Kayena.” Kaizen reflex tightens the grip on Kayena's wrist. Her emotions easily rose when her lover was carried around. “Don't involve him on our talk.”
“How can I not involve your lover which is the biggest reason for the betrayal my son received?”
“Our son,” correction Kaizen growled. “Prince Carcel is our son, Kayena.”
Kayena nodded. “But you never really thought of Prince Carcel as a child, but rather as the heir to the throne of the kingdom of Robelia.”
Tacit. Kaizen really clenched his jaw on hearing the heinous accusation the wife made. As a husband, he was very happy when he heard his wife was two. Kayena's pregnancy has been awaited by all the people of Robelia. Kaizen doesn't lie, she's happy even if she never shows it. He covered the feeling neatly so that his lover was not hurt. The presence of the successor of Kayena will make the position of her lover increasingly threatened, especially Katarina only survives with the capital of love of the king to remain in the palace.
Kaizen covered her happiness well, to the point that her own wife thought she was unhappy about the birth of their first son. The culmination of the problem occurred when their little son died on the second day of his birth. Kayena's destroyed. Kaizen is also fusing.
The difference is, as a leader he must be good at covering up the destruction. Kaizen hides that sense of loss behind her cold and arrogant nature. While continuing to assume that his wife will also understand with the passage of time. However, instead of understanding, Kayena was even more mired in the deep wounds caused by the loss. Kayena lived her life like a marrionette or a wooden doll moved by thread or rope.
“I don't know you, Kayena.” Kaizen loosened the grip of her hand as she said so. “Why did you change so suddenly?”
Kayena smiled faintly hearing that. All indeed all-round “ suddenly” since he opened his eyes and returned to the past. However, what Kayena had done next, had all been carefully considered.
“I'm just tired, Your Highness.”
“If you are tired of resting. I won't force you to work,” Kaizen said. Although his words were spoken in a cold tone, Kaizen wanted his wife to understand that she did not have to push herself too much.
During this time Kaizen was living freely with her lover—selfer Katarina. He understood very well if all the negative opinions that appeared in the public had been resolved by Kayena. The woman behaved like a wise wife who accepted her husband's infidelity. Even when Kaizen finally gave Katarina the title of nobility without discussing it with Kayena, she remained silent. Even though the Grand Duke Pexley family is trying hard to find justice for him.
“Not all fatigue can be lost with rest, Your Majesty.”
“Then what do you need, Kayena?” kaizen asked with both hands resting on the little shoulder of his queen. “Say. What do you need?”
Kayena stared directly into the dark-colored eyes of Kaizen. Before a request glides free from his thin lips.
“I want to divorce with you.”
