Hugged Me, Mother

Hugged Me, Mother
chapter 6

Along with the accident, Winda gave birth to her first child and due to blood loss, Winda died on the way to the hospital.

"Thank you, Chandra I know you'll take good care of my son. I'm sorry Chandra really I didn't intend to hurt your feelings but the love between us just grew without me noticing" Fathir said.

"I don't know if I can forgive me or not Mas I also don't know I can be a good mother or not for this child."

"Chandra, please forgive me. Please forgive me," said Fathir.

Suddenly, Fathir was in excruciating pain.

"Mas, why are you? Mas, I've forgiven you, please endure I can't possibly take care of this child alone." Chandra cried while holding Fathir's hand.

"Thank you for forgiving me." Fathir breathed his last there by already getting an apology from Chandra who had been betrayed.

"Mas! My mother!"

*FLASHBACK OFF"

Alya walked up to Chandra and knelt at her feet.

"If I had to make amends for all my parents' mistakes, I'd do whatever you want as long as you forgive my parents."

"Alya what are you doing? Wake up Alya, don't be like this." Najwa embraces Alya and asks her not to kowtow at his mother's feet.

"Alya don't be like this, although the reality is this but my mother is still your mother too" continued Najwa.

"If you want me to forgive them get out of here and never come back to me again. Now that you're an adult you can live on your own, without my help anymore" Chandra said.

Actually Chandra also felt pain and pain when he had to say that to Alya but according to him Alya's departure from his house is the only way so that they do not hurt each other.

"Mom, what did you say? Alya can't leave this house, she'll live where she will."

"If it makes you happy, well ma'am, I'll go."

Chandra did not reply, he just kept silent while continuing to stand with tears that never receded from his fertilizer.

Alya got up from her prostration and walked towards her room to tidy up all her belongings!

"Alya don't go." Najwa stopped Alya who had started climbing the stairs to go to his room on the second floor of his house.

"Here you go, brother, I have to go" Alya said as she continued to cry.

Najwa ran over to his mother again who was still standing at her place!

"Mom please don't let Alya go, please ma'am please. I have no one else in this house" Najwa pleaded with Chandra.

"No way, he should never have been in our Najwa family. He's not part of our family."

"But Mom, he's Dad's son too. Please forget about Mom's past, I'm sorry about Alya's mom and dad."

"You don't know what I feel about Najwa. You don't advise me because I know what I have to do."

Before long, Alya passed them with a large suitcase and carried her bag.

Alya stood a considerable distance away from Chandra without taking off her suitcase.

"Mother, with a heavy heart I left this house to make Mom happy. One thing you should know, I love you and your sister Najwa, I love you very much. I'm sorry, please forgive me if I've always been troubling you."

Chandra was just silent even just staring at Alya himself.

Alya started walking with tears that kept caving the river on her cheeks!

"Alya don't, Alya I beg you. I won't let you go Alya. Alya!" Najwa continued to speak in a high tone to Alya.

His tears just kept flowing because he did not want to part with his sister who had been very dear to him.

From the kitchen, Mbok Darti continued to pay attention to them, he loved Alya as much as he loved his son. Actually, he did not want Alya to leave but he could not do anything because he was just a housekeeper in that house.

"Mom please stop Alya. I can't live without her Mom, she's the only one of my friends who understands me."

"Let him go, Najwa, you'll get used to living without him for a long time."

Alya stepped out of her house with increasingly heavy cries! How hard he was to leave the people he loved so much, all this time he always loved Chandra even though Chandra was never sweet to him.

The fact that he is not Chandra's real son, is, making himself must be willing to go out of his house to make up for all his parents' mistakes to Chandra and also for the happiness of Mother who had never smiled at him.

"Why do I have to be reborn in this world if I am just an orphan even my presence becomes a thorn that always stabs and injures people who have been caring for me. I never wanted this kind of life, God, why did you let me live, why didn't you just let me die after my mother gave birth to me?" alya said in her heart.

Alya continued to walk down the quiet street, the speck of rain began to fall as if the sky was crying to see Alya at that time.

Alya continued walking and allowed herself to get wet by the dripping rainwater soaking down her body.

Arrived somewhere, precisely on a pedestrian bridge. Alya stood staring at the road below him while holding the iron ladder.

"Let'soooooo!" Alya shouted out loud to calm herself down.

"Dad! Mama! Pick me up here, I want to come with you even if you're in the lowest place. I'm tired, I'm sick of hearing this embarrassing reality, I'm ashamed of Chandra's mother, I'm ashamed of the world for being born out of your secret marriage!"

Without Alya noticing, there was a middle-aged woman who saw and heard all her screams. Although in the midst of the rush of rain, the old woman could still hear Alya's words even though it was unclear.

The woman walked up the stairs to reach Alya who was crying while hugging her knees!

"God won't give you this ordeal if you can't get through it because he knows you can get through it."

Alya raised her head looking at the person who spoke to her!

"You who?" ask her with a raspy voice typical of people who are crying. Occasionally a faint voice sounded from the twenty-three year old girl.

"I'm Marlina, where are you going these nights carrying a suitcase this big?" said the middle-aged woman.

Alya was silent because she had no answer to the woman's question. He does not know where he is going, at this time he does not have a definite purpose where he will go.

*******

The night is getting late but Najwa is not yet asleep, from the window of his room he continues to look outside to make sure Alya returns to his house.

"Where are you, Al? Why isn't your phone active?" As an older brother who loved his sister very much, Najwa was so worried about Alya especially when it was a heavy rain accompanied by lightning and storms.

Najwa moved where he was sitting on the edge of the bed but with a cell phone that he kept holding he kept calling Alya despite knowing Alya's phone number was not active.

Feeling that there was no result of his efforts, Najwa came out of his room and walked to his mother's room!

"Mom, please tell people to look for Alya. He was afraid of lightning, I was worried about him" Najwa told Chandra.

"Alya has grown up Najwa, let him learn to live alone. You should understand the feeling of Mother who is always tormented when she sees her face."

"Mom, Alya is not wrong. Why do you blame the child for never asking the parents?"

"Najwa please leave Mom alone. Please let me live quietly."

"Mom."

"Najwa stop!" Chandra yelled at Najwa until Najwa was surprised to hear his voice.

Najwa lowered his head and walked slowly to get out of his mother's room.

This is the first time Chandra yells himself until he is shocked and afraid and does not dare to say anything more to Chandra.
