"I don't have a husband, Ma'am," Rosa replied.

"Oh, so your husband is dead? Sorry, Ma'am? I don't mean to make Ms. Rosa sad to remember!" mia said.

Rosa simply fell silent at Mia's words without intending to answer them. He felt no need to share his life story with everyone who asked about his personal life. There is no need to roar on everyone to know how unfortunate he lived his life in the past to have children out of wedlock.

"Ekhm .. sorry, Mom. Excuse me for a minute!" rosa said. After getting a nod from Mia in response Rosa rushed to take ablution and performed the prayer.

"Mi, tomorrow is the weekend, we go to Atlantis Land yuk, Mi! Jessi wants to swim there!" jessika.

"Later if papi comes home, Mami says to papi first huh? Hopefully there will be no event" said Mia trying to persuade her daughter.

"At any rate this time Mami should be able to persuade papi to take the time to accompany us on vacation. Two weeks in a row you always can't. This time papi should be able to play. I'm tired of Mi, every weekend at home!" said Jessika and started to frown.

Jessika is upset because lately her papi is always busy and there is rarely time to just accompany her to study or accompany her to play at home as usual. He felt lately his papa was always busy with work.

Even his papa is often late to go home so there is rarely a chance to meet because it comes home late and leaves early in the morning. Her father never took her to school again. Though usually his papa who drove him to school all the way to the office.

"Yes, Honey. Mama's gonna work on it!" mia said.

Mia gently stroked the back of her daughter's head to calm down. She knew that Jessi was closer to her papa because she was so indulgent with her daughter, so it was only natural that Jessi protested when she was too busy with her work lately.

Undeniably, Mia was enough to feel the change from her husband. Her husband is not as warm as usual. Even later there is no quality time that Edward usually creates in order to maintain the harmony of their household relationships.

"Prophey, honey. Papi is in need of understanding from us" said Mia patiently as she rubbed her daughter's shoulder.

Rosa, who had returned from the prayer, also heard this. He felt sorry for them. She recalled how Syifa used to be very lonely and felt sad when she saw her friends spending time with their parents on vacation.

However, Rosa is grateful for Edward's presence at this time, at least her daughter can now feel the happiness she never got.

"Mom, I'm sorry to go home. I also cooked for dinner" Rosa said goodbye.

"Thank you, Ma'am. Be careful on the road!" mia said.

"Good, Mom."

Rosa then stepped out leaving Mia's residence.

......................

Arriving in front of the house, Rosa saw Edward still on the porch of her house. Edward is seen chatting while joking with laughter with Syifa and also with his mother, Sofia. He believes Edward must have picked Syifa up from college.

Rosa was grateful that Edward's presence at least helped her because someone helped to protect Syifa when she herself could not do that to Syifa.

"Assalamu'alaikum!" he said when he set foot on the porch of the house.

"Wa'alaikumussalam, Mama! " syifa answered and approached Rosa. Syifa kissed the back of her mother's hand and smiled welcoming her.

Rosa just glanced at Edward who was now also staring at her. Rosa immediately turned around before their eyes began to clash.

"Syifa ..., bring Grandma into the house so she can rest! " the order of Rosa.

"Good, Ma! " syifa replied, pushing her grandmother's wheelchair.

Now only Rosa and Edward live on the front porch. He deliberately told Syifa to go in with her mother so that she could speak with Edward.
