Ainsley laughed to himself.
I can only pass on a message to the blue-eyed elder, and since I look smart in the eyes of those elders, they will trust me. Doesn't it?
Especially the blue-eyed elders. He seems to think of me as a genius. He often looked at me with hopeful eyes and treated me well too.
Let's meet them at dinner.
Ainsley whistled as she slowly fell asleep. Of course, no spirit had come to his dream, but he was already determined to make it happen.
Deceiving those close to you and others will soon follow. A lie repeated several times until it becomes a habit will gradually become the truth – at least others will feel it.
It is a fabricated historical force that is told to others from generation to generation.
Dinner time.
Ainsley made sure that the blue-eyed elder joined the dinner today. Fortunately, not only did he join in, but he also sat next to Ainsley's chair on the edge of the table.
Ainsley occupied the head seat while the older took a seat nearby.
Clack. Clack.
Ainsley tried hard to scoop the soup into his mouth without anyone's help. The quiet dining room is now boisterous because of baby eating utensils that hit the plate.
Even so, no one dared to reprimand the baby for seeing a cute toddler who tried to feed himself so touching and heartwarming.
The servants, waiters, cooks, and even Elliana and the elder all turned a blind eye to Ainsley's actions.
15 Minutes passed, and Ainsley's food had been reduced by half. The baby then stopped moving the spoon to his mouth.
He licked his lips instead while turning to the older one.
“Gwandpa,” Ainsley calls in a weak voice. The baby was still busy licking his lips, not knowing that the soup had already spread all over his lower face.
Seeing the baby calling the older one when his face was so messy.
“Ya, family head?” The blue-eyed elder, Grandpa Yofan, smiled sweetly at Ainsley's call.
The baby's face immediately brightened hearing his answer. He hurriedly lowered his head and whispered to grandfather as if what he was about to say was a high-level secret.
“Gwandpa. Ain... Ain wad a dream.” Ainsley. Since he lowered his head and brought his face closer to the older one, the older one did the same.
Now, both of them looked like granddaughters trying to plan someone.
“Dreams? What dream?” Grandpa Yofan asked calmly. He did not look excited or agitated.
Who wants to? It was just the baby saying that he had a dream. Grandpa Yofan only responded casually so that the baby would not feel neglected.
“Twat...Ain shaw a Gwandpa.” Ainsley's eyes turned serious, but no matter how seriously he tried, the yellow soup stain around his chin made it impossible for anyone to take him seriously.
The same goes for Grandpa Yofan. Yofan chuckled as he lifted his white handkerchief and rubbed Ainsley's chin.
“Hwm hwm..” Ainsley struggled to speak as grandfather rubbed his mouth and chin, clearing the stain of the soup. Still, he let grandfather do that and only after grandfather was done did Ainsley finally speak.
“Gwandpa. Gwandpa weals swuith.haf swack beald, scwaly eyesh, hwuge!” Ainsley began to explain the Godfather visual in most legends.
A grandfather with a black beard, frightening eyes, a large body, and he was wearing a black suit. Of course, that hint alone was not enough for anyone to guess that it was the Godfather.
That was why, Grandpa Yofan asked calmly.
“Then? What's again? What does he look like? Any other unique appearance?”
Yofan's grandfather keeps bothering Ainsley just to satisfy her baby. She felt that if she did not, her baby would feel disappointed that no one was interested in her story.
Grandfather Yofan did that out of kindness, and Ainsley used this kindness to his advantage. Yes, he had predicted that grandfather would continue to ask him.
He happily replied while stretching out his hand.
“Twe gwanpa bwing a wong twing...lhike twish...” Ainsley stretched his hands as wide as possible and brandished a stick.
Yofan's grandfather immediately guessed that Ainsley meant a stick.
“Tebu?” Grandpa Yofan laughed softly. He was interested in the baby story.
What kind of dream involves the appearance of such a detailed grandfather?
“Wesh! Cwane Gween! Twe ish shnake andh twe ish biwd. Biwd– ea– shop!” Ainsley nodded excitedly as she pretended it was hard to describe the appearance of the wand.
Still, in the end, Grandpa Yofan understood the important clue. A green stick with a snake and eagle on it.
After concluding this fact, Yofan Grandfather's calm face slowly wrinkled. The sweet smile initially became stiff.
…What? Green stick with a snake and eagle?
There's no way Grandpa Yofan didn't know about the stick. Such a wand was so famous because only one legendary figure had taken him everywhere.
Godfather.
Grandpa Yofan was finally confused. He glanced at Ainsley's suspicious sparkling eyes.
Grandfather in Ainsley's dream. Why is it so similar to Godfather? But..Ain should never have seen his picture, right? He's still 3!
Grandfather Yofan wanted to believe that the future in Ainsley's dream was Godfather, but before that, he had to make sure that it was truly Godfather.
“Ain, what color is his eye? And hair. Also, the skin.” Grandpa Yofan asked patiently. He still lowered his voice so that no one other than Ainsley could hear him–
