Kimi To Boku No Koi (Our Love Story)
Episode 7 - Personality differences

Yuji and Akira are sitting in the park after school. Suddenly, Akira exclaimed, "Hey, Yuji! Let's play!" while standing and jumping.

Yuji just fell silent and smiled slightly. "I don't really like to play, Akira. Sorry," he replied gently.

Akira sat back down and asked, "Have you always been like this? Don't like to play or have fun?"

Yuji nodded, "Yes. I prefer to focus on the lessons and find out new things. I don't really like crowds and too much stimulation."

Akira laughed and said, "That's very different from me. I love meeting new people and trying new things. I think it makes life more fun!"

Yuji smiled slightly and replied, "That's fine, Akira. I'm glad you're enjoying your life. But, we're different and maybe sometimes it's hard to understand each other."

Akira pondered for a moment and then said, "But we both love each other, right? That's what's important."

Yuji smiled widely and nodded. "Yes, Akira. I love you and will always love you. Whatever our differences, they'll never change."

Akira smiled and hugged Yuji tightly. "I love you too, Yuji. We'll always be together, and I'll learn to understand you better."

Yuji returned a hug and felt relieved. Even though they are different, their love remains united and supportive of each other.

Yuji pondered for a moment. He realizes that Akira has a very different personality to him. Akira is always cheerful, lively, and sociable, while he tends to be shy, introverted, and rarely gets along with others.

However, that did not deter Yuji from feeling comfortable with Akira. Instead, he feels that Akira completes his shortcomings. However, those personality differences are increasingly apparent as they begin to prepare for their final project together.

"I think we should choose a topic that is not too complicated," Yuji said.

"I agree, but maybe we can also try something more challenging" Akira replied.

Yuji thought for a moment, "But I'm not very good at public speaking. Maybe we should pick a topic I don't need to present."

Akira nodded, "OK, I understand. But, how about we train together? I can help you overcome your fears."

Yuji smiled, "Thank you, Akira. I'll try."

They then choose a topic that is not too complicated, but interesting enough to learn. For a few weeks, they worked hard together and helped each other overcome adversity.

Despite the stark personality differences, they can still work well together and help each other. The difference actually makes them more complete as a couple.

Yuji becomes convinced that he and Akira are destined to be together. He felt that their love was getting stronger with each passing day. And although the challenge was still waiting ahead, Yuji was confident that they could deal with it together.

"Akira, why do we always have to ask your friends every time we go on a date?" yuji said while looking down, annoyed by this situation.

"But, it's not just our date, Yuji. It's an exciting moment for everyone, not just for the two of us" Akira replied, trying to defend himself.

"But I want a romantic date with just the two of us, not with anyone else. Is that so wrong?" reply Yuji with annoyed tone.

"But what about my friends who want to be friends with you, Yuji? I want all of us to be together, without any awkwardness" Akira explained with a sweet smile.

Yuji looked at Akira and let out a long sigh. He knows that Akira is a sociable type of person, and wants to introduce himself to his friends. However, Yuji was uncomfortable with this situation.

"I guess, I understand that your friends want to be friends with me. But, I want to date us just the two of us. Can you understand my feelings?" yuji said softly.

Akira smiled and nodded. "Of course, Yuji. I understand your feelings. But, don't worry, I'll still love you the way you want."

Yuji smiled and hugged Akira tightly. He was relieved that Akira understood his feelings. Despite their differences in personality, they both try to understand each other and strengthen their relationship with a strong sense of trust and commitment.

That night, Yuji comes to Akira's apartment to talk about their problems. After waiting for a while, Akira opened the door and invited him in.

"What's going on?" akira asked with a worried face.

Yuji sat on the sofa and stared out the window. "I don't know. I feel like we're very different, especially in terms of personality."

Akira sat down beside her and held her hand. "What does that mean?" akira asked, trying to understand Yuji's intentions.

"You know I'm very shy and introverted, whereas you're very passionate and sociable. Sometimes I feel like we're like two people living in different worlds."

Akira smiled gently. "I know it's hard, but believe me, I still want to be with you. We can learn from each other and support each other."

Yuji was relieved to hear those words. "Thank you, Akira. I like you a lot, but I feel like sometimes I can't live up to your expectations."

"I never expected you to change, Yuji. I like you for who you are, and I want us to stay together."

Yuji smiled and clasped Akira's hand. "Thank you, Akira. I'll try better for you."

The two then hugged tightly, and Yuji felt warm and calm in Akira's arms. Although they are different in many ways, but their love remains united and strengthens their relationship.
