26. Rabbit Cages

The atmosphere of the balcony of the apartment was so quiet, even though there were four girls sitting there. A very rare situation. Nabila gave a rough sigh, trying to let out a tightness in her chest.

"You're crazy, Drey." Yura opened her voice after quite a long silence. They've been listening to Audrey's plan to take her life.

"What else do I have to do?" Audrey looked at the glass and shook the orange juice in her hand.

"Is there no other way?" Isabela put on a hopeful face. But Audrey just shook her head slowly.

"If I don't survive.........."

"Shut up! Quiet down!" Yura yelled at Audrey while pointing at her best friend. Then he went into his room.

"You're reckless Drey." said Nabila in the end. "But the rice has become porridge."

"Leave to add chicken meat suwiran, kuah and his colleagues." Isabela slacking.

"This necklace pendant is a frequency jammers mainly for reconnaissance devices. You don't have to worry about contacting us, because your channel is free from wiretapping. I'll make a special safe line on that device."

"Then the earrings?" Audrey picked up an earring that had the same motif as a necklace pendant.

Tika entered his office in a hurry, after the inauguration of the resort this afternoon he immediately returned. Moreover, he got a message from Audrey that the girl would wait in his shop at night.

"Tante thinks you're gonna run away from Drey." Tika entered the room and immediately hugged Audrey who was sitting on the sofa.

"Audrey keeps aunt's promise." Audrey smiled sweetly.

"Is everything ready?" Isak appeared on the doorstep. "Aaron's waiting in the car."

"Yes aunty." Audrey smiled awkwardly.

The atmosphere returned to silence until the car arrived at the Aaron family mansion. Both cars stopped at the main door. Edward and a few servants were waiting.

"Welcome ladies and gentlemen." greet them while bowing.

Aaron stepped closer to Audrey and held onto the girl's shoulder.

"You ready?"

Audrey took a deep breath and exhaled firmly. "Yes" he said with a smile. There is no way back, he thought.

The group immediately entered the mansion and turned to the left, one of the wings of the building devoted to Aaron.

"Stop!" a woman exclaimed from behind them, all stopped and turned back.

Arneta shows up with Juliana, apparently they just arrived from the resort's inauguration event.

"You're really continuing this Aaron game?" Arneta looked cynically at Audrey.

"Let's go into the room." Tika takes Audrey.

"Don't be disrespectful to your sister-in-law, Tika." Arneta starts to get emotional.

"Since when have you been accepted into Saka's extended family is Arneta?" Tika asked with complete calmness.

Arneta took a slow sip of his saliva, wanting to look graceful even when he was angry.

"Alright, at least my daughter-in-law should kiss my hand." Arneta extended her hand while smiling cunningly.

Audrey advanced despite Aaron's arrest. He took Arneta's hand. But Audrey had not had time to hold Arneta's fingers, the woman had already raised her hand and quickly swung to attack Audrey's face.

With one move Audrey caught Arneta's hand, grasping it with all her might. Arneta did not stay still, he swung his left hand, but ended up the same as the right hand.

Audrey stared intently, her eyes gleaming with vengeance. Arneta who saw that shuddered in horror, he started to get scared, his face pias.

"What-what are you doing."

"Are you trying to hit me aunty?" even Audrey's voice sounded terrifying.

The young master did not choose wrongly, Edward faintly smiled.

As Tika, Isak and Aaron openly smile at Audrey's courage.

"That's a warning. Don't fuck with my wife." Aaron walked up to Audrey. "Come, let them go." he grabbed Audrey's hand and went into their room.

"Tante believes you can handle this, auntie and om will come often dear." Tika held onto Audrey's suddenly pale face.

"Aaron won't eat you, calm yourself." Om Isak chimed, instead of calm Audrey getting pias.

The couple chuckled softly at Audrey's face. The girl turned her head for a moment to the door where Aaron had entered.

"This is the first time Audrey has been in a boy's room other than papa and sister." Audrey whispered, Aaron who was inside the walk in closet certainly did not hear that.

"I'm sorry, honey, it's got this far. But you saw Arneta's behavior."

"Yes aunty, one Audrey has also agreed to this."

"Om and aunt don't just stay over?" said Aaron who just joined.

"No, we don't want to bother you both." Om Isak teases.

"Geez, don't make Audrey change her mind." Aaron pretended to be anxious.

"Your team will take you to the walking closet" Aaron said, closing the door.

Aaron pointed at a door by a large window, Audrey followed Aaron's finger and then he grabbed his bag and headed for the walking closet.

Aaron smiled, like a lion, now turned into a cat.

Aaron snorted and held his chest. Ever since seeing Audrey appear from inside the shop, her chest had already been pounding uncontrollably. She looks so beautiful with a new hairstyle.
