Loving My Brother's Fiancee

Loving My Brother's Fiancee
58. The arrival of in-laws

Today Salwa intends to shop for the needs for her baby. Two more months, her son was about to be born, but she did not have any preparations yet, so the woman today intended to buy a lot of supplies. Regarding Abra, Salwa can only convince her heart that her husband is fine. He always suggested in his mind like that.

The woman did so because she did not want to get too late in the grief. There is a baby in her stomach that needs more attention. Salwa did not know the sex of her child, whether male or female. He decided to buy neutral equipment only, so that it can be used by boys and girls. For that woman, baby clothes are the same.

Salwa was so happy to see the abundance of baby gear. All looks very funny, he wants to buy everything, but will definitely be redundant if all is purchased. Accidentally the net caught a married couple who were choosing baby clothes. They look so happy.

A tear drenched the woman's cheek again. As hard as Salwa tried to look okay, still she would feel sad when remembered if the husband had not heard from him.

“Mbak, how many months does it contain?” greet a woman who is also shopping for baby needs.

Salwa immediately wiped her tears. He did not want others to know the sadness he was feeling.

“Seven months, Ma'am. If, Ma'am, how many months?” salwa asked back when she saw the woman's stomach which was also a little big.

“I've been six months. Baby Boy What girl?”

“I don't know, I did deliberately keep it a secret. Let it be a surprise later,” replied Salwa.

He never did the USG. Salwa only wanted to do it when there was Abra beside her. However, until now the husband has not returned home. So he never did such an examination, just a manual examination by a midwife near his house.

“Oh, I see, if I am already impatient, Ma'am. That's why yesterday's USG and the results were female. I am very happy, in contrast to my husband's family who wants a boy,” said the woman in a sad tone.

“Why is that so, Ma'am? Men and women are not the same. They are also our children,” asked Salwa.

She suddenly recalled her husband's family who also had such a trait. Abra was a boy, but his in-laws distinguished their children.

“For them the descent is very important. They are very eager to have a boy. My first child is a girl, now a girl. They always wasted my first child and loved my sister-in-law more. Yes, because sister-in-law's son, brother.”

“Sometimes there are such parents. We ourselves are required to be patient" said Salwa who tried to calm the woman's feelings.

“Not just a family like that. My husband is like that too. She was so angry when the child in my stomach turned out to be a girl again. Even now she plans to remarry.”

Salwa was surprised to hear that. Is it that easy to find a replacement? He remembered his two in-laws. They also used to be kind to their children. The woman will worry about her son later.

Salwa doesn't want her son to feel what Abra used to feel. If Papa Handi and Mama Syakila don't like their child, they won't let the child feel sadness. Even if the world hates her, the woman herself will give her all happiness.

“Mbak, why daydream?” ask the woman.

“Ah, it's okay,” said Maysa with a smile.

“Ya already, then I first, Ma'am. Good luck to the lahiran."

“Iya, amen. Careful, Ma'am!” Salwa so not tasteful to continue shopping. He also walked to the cashier with the goods already in the basket.

“No need, Andre. You just wait outside,” Salwa said to the bodyguard who the woman knew by the name of Andre.

His guard is many, but only Andre often approaches Salwa because he is the person most trusted by Roni. The man was also the head of the bodyguard who was currently guarding Abra's wife. Andre's presence there attracted attention. Moreover, seeing the man's behavior that was so polite to Salwa.

It reassures everyone if the pregnant woman is a rich person, to use the services of bodyguards. Actually Salwa does not like to be the subject of attention, but she does not want the husband to worry, so the woman complies.

“But, Mistress. The queue is very long, you must be tired of standing still. How about you just sit there, let me queue,” said Andre while pointing to the available seats.

Salwa according to him, indeed he was tired from standing too long. The increasing gestational age, the more limiting the space of movement. After finishing paying for everything, Salwa and Andre left the store towards the house.

“Andre, is there still no news about Mas Abra's whereabouts?” salwa asked as they were on their way. Both are cars with drivers. Andre sat in the front while the woman was in the back.

“Sorry, Mistress. We haven't got any news.”

“Is every problem between the groups, indeed you guys are so long?”

“Depending on the greatness of the enemy, Mistress. Even once up to a year more.”

Maysa was silent, he had heard Abra say his enemy this time was indeed a mortal enemy. Certainly including great people. When will her husband return? Unknowingly the woman rubbed her protruding stomach.

“What among them does no one carry a mobile phone? Why not tell you? If they are overwhelmed, all of you here why not come there? Aren't you worried if something happens to your friend?” asked Salwa who was already very upset about not getting any answers from her question.

“Sorry, ma'am, they don't have a cell phone with them. Only wear HT.”

Salwa did not speak anymore. Free to talk to them too. The woman prayed that her husband would return home safely. He doesn't want his son to live without a father.

Not long after, they finally arrived home. There's a car parked there. Salwa knew very well who the owner was, namely her two in-laws, but this time she did not know who was coming. Both or one of his parents-in-law.

“Assalamualaikum,” Salwa said upon entering the house. Followed Andre behind him by carrying a papper bag that was immediately brought inside.

“Waalaikumsalam, where are you from, Salwa?” ask Mama Rafiqah. It turned out that both of his in-laws were coming.

“From shopping, Ma.”

“Your husband is not known where he is, you can be busy shopping,” said Papa Handi with sarcasm.

Salwa rolled her eyes lazily. Since when did her in-laws care about Abra's whereabouts? Usually just funny.
