Devina did not admit that she had dated a man because the relationship that had been established between her and Kenzi did not have any status and no one knew about it other than the two of them.

Kenzi is his only son, as is Alfin. Their relationship had to end quite badly because Kenzi chose to follow his family's rules that required him to marry a woman from the same tribe and still smelled of family with both parents.

Especially with the economic differences in the family that distinguish between them and it is enough to make Devina feel hurt because Kenzi did not have any struggle to maintain relationships without their status or even just to admit that the two have a relationship.

Devina replied with a gentle smile as she passed with her laptop and also a map and a thick journal book in her hand. The woman turned her head again before entering the glass door between the space divider skates and the balcony.

Alfin could see how the lie was so apparent from the way he stared.

The man then moved from his crouching place to follow the movement of the wife who has now occupied one of the living room sofas.

"Replace your clothes." He tells Devina that he almost turned his laptop back on.

"What are you doing?." Devina scrunched her forehead.

"We're out, get me shopping."

Alfin smiled wryly.

"Yes you're my bini, so keep it for two."
