SACRIFICING DEA (POV AUTHOR)

The bad news that Dea heard today became the beginning of the catastrophe in Dea's life. With tears in his eyes Dea continued down the streets hoping that he would soon find public transport.

He tried to stop some public transport passing by but all were full of passengers. After quite a long walk, Dea finally found an ojek base. Immediately he asked one of the taxi drivers to take him to the hospital.

Upon arriving at the hospital yard, Dea immediately ran into the hospital and headed to the information section to find out the whereabouts of the father. As soon as he got the information where the father was he immediately rushed into the room as he was already very worried about his father's circumstances.

''Dea's father is here, I have to be strong'' said Dea half-run to the ICU room where the father is.

In front of the ICU room the mother was waiting for Dea, with tears that had soaked her cheeks.

''Dea'' he said softly to make Dea's heart more sick.

''Bagaiamna father's condition ma'am?'' Tanya Dea hugged her mother.

''Your father is in a coma son'' said Dea's mother on the sidelines sobbing her tears.

''Don't cry mom, dad must be strong. Dea knew the father was a very strong man, Dea wiped away the tears on her cheek.

''Is Dea able to see father's condition?'' Dea asked a nurse who was near them at the time.

''May please but have to change clothes first'' said the nurse.

Dea followed the nurse's steps to change clothes so that she could immediately see the condition of her beloved father.

After changing clothes, Dea immediately entered the ICU where the father is now lying weak with various medical devices attached to his body, Dea was given only 5 minutes in the room.

''Dea's father is here, Dea please wake up'' Dea said holding his father's hand.

Dea was so sad to see the father, that she could even look on the screen if the father's heartbeat was very weak.

He continued to talk to the father hoping that the father would open his eyes immediately but there was no response from his father.

After praying, Dea immediately came out of the father's treatment room with a strange feeling. He wanted to feel like he was crying but he could not do it in front of his mother, he wanted to look strong in order to strengthen his mother.

Dea wanted to tell Marvel but when he searched for his phone it was not in the bag. He then asked the mother because before entering to see the father, he left his bag to the mother.

''Mom, did you see Dea's phone?''

''No son, I don't see'' Dea's mother told a lie, because she had actually hidden Dea's phone, because she had plans for Dea.

''Oh that, did Dea forget to take it? But as Dea remembered, Dea had entered the bag'' he said looking back in his bag.

''Dea, there's something I want to talk about'' Dea's mother said.

''Just talk mom, Dea will listen'' Dea said looking into the mother's nervous eyes.

''Boleh bu'' Dea said. He understood that what his mother would say must be something no one else could hear.

''What's wrong mom?'' Ask Dea. Now the two of them were sitting on chairs in the garden beside the hospital.

''Tell me, son, the doctor said your father's condition is getting worse and it won't be long for your father to leave us. Your father really wants to see you marry, son, but with the person of his choice said Dea's mother who made Dea very surprised.

''But ma'am, how is it possible? What else Dea has to count the days to be married to Mr. Marvel'' said Dea confused about everything that is happening.

After the car carrying Dea slowly drove away from the park and the hospital, her mother and the woman entered the hospital.

They're both taking care of Dea's father's move, they're going to move him to a much nicer hospital than the one he's in now. All medical expenses will be borne by the woman with him who is none other than the future in-law of Dea.

Actually Dea's father has no debt to anyone, but the mother lied so that Dea would marry and he got money to treat the husband as well as for his needs and other children.

He thought only of himself and his other children as well as the husband, he did not think of the fate of the next Dea because in other words he sold Dea.

After all the management was completed he immediately took the husband to the best hospital in another city.

''Dea I hand over to mother, it's up to mother to do what to her'' Dea's mother said before boarding the ambulance where the husband was.
