Missing Room

Missing Room
Episode 78's

I increasingly tighten my arms amid the increasingly crying, no matter the shirt worn Mas Pras has been wet due to tears.

Long enough we are in a position like this, and what makes my heart feel confused is Mas Pras who never give a response.

Even prejudice began to appear in my brain, whether Mas Pras has really given up or maybe he is tired.

But I gasped when suddenly Mas Pras' hands forced me to stretch my arms to him. He turned around then looked at me, then shook his head. "Mas can't" he said in a flat tone as he took off my hand.

"Why?" my question is demanding while looking for answers from the look of her sad eyes looking at me.

"It's because I'm tired of waiting for me, until I give up. Or maybe, this is one of the opportunities for Mas to release me, because marrying me is just a request from Papa, based on a sense of return. Or is there another woman out there?" I said that raved unclear.

"Anna, what are you talking about!" mas Pras said as if he did not understand what I was saying.

"I know Mas. I know— that the reason we got married was because of Papa's request, and if Papa hadn't asked for sure it would never have happened. And also Mas did all that for sure as an escape?"

Mas Pras looked surprised and showed a confused face. "Don't understand what you mean?"

I smiled miris. "In the past Papa has done a lot for your family, Mas. And when Mas wants to repay Papa's services, Papa actually offered me to Mas married. And incidentally at that time Mas was heartbroken because Mas's proposal was rejected. So right, I'm just here as an escape?" ask me with emphasis.

"Where do you know that?" tanya Mas Pras with eyes glaring at me fixedly.

"You never ask," said Mas Pras quickly cut my words. "It is true that your father offered Mas to marry you. Do you remember the beginning of our meeting? Mas came to your house, with a friendly smile you welcomed me and you wiggled your arms against your Brother. From there I judged that you were a spoiled girl. Mas believes that you are indeed the right woman to accompany Mas's life, giving color to Mas's life. But, in fact, too different ages make your reasons hard to accept," he explained, then took a deep breath, then resumed his speech.

"Your intention to marry you is sincere, not on the basis of return or the thing you mentioned earlier. Do you believe in falling in love at first sight? And that's how I felt when I first saw you," he said bitterly.

"If that's the case, then why didn't Mas ever say it?" ask me to interrupt with a hand that involuntarily moves to reach his cheek. But it didn't last long, because Mas Pras is now pulling my finger and squeezing it.

"Mas every day said it but it's all for nothing because you never want to know, let alone reply to it," he said in a trembling voice.

"When?" I said with almost no voice.

"Love is not just for speech, but it must also be accompanied by action."

"What have you done to date?" many challenging. "If the love that Mas has is still there, allow me to welcome him, too" I said with a barely clenched voice, pulling his hand that was still attached to my finger now I put it on my chest which had been beating.

I saw her eyes blink, looked at me in disbelief, and I replied with a nod, assuring her that I was speaking sincerely without making up.

A second later I tiptoed, put one hand on her nape, then slowly pressed my lips against hers. My eyes closed and began to feel the warm surface of his lips. Initially without movement, but slowly Mas Pras began to reply, pulled my waist and gave me small kisses that seemed to drain a sense that had long undermined from within the space of longing.
