CHAPTER 33. Choose Love

Wati's mother, who was very sad and devastated after hearing all of Zarrah's confessions, did not say much and just went inside her room.

Hannum who could not do anything to calm Mother Wati could only hold herself back with tightly clenched hands.

Hannum who saw a lot of things happen in the past week made his head throb very hard.

"Well!" said Hannum who threw his body onto the sofa while taking a deep breath with a very tired face.

Alvin, who was still there, was silent and said nothing because of the guilt that filled his heart and tried to persuade and comfort Hannum but was quickly rejected by Hannum.

"Dad! If you're tired. Go back to your room and rest! Let me clean this up!" alvin said with a worried face.

"No need! You don't have to do that! I beg you to return to the Capital and leave me here alone!" hannum said in a low voice without spirit.

"But-but.... Mas..." said Alvin with a face that went awry and stopped talking after Hannum raised his hand to give a code for Alvin silence.

"I don't need you here, Mom! Seeing your face today makes me think back to your porno photos and videos with Zarrah!" hannum said with teary eyes that made Alvin bite his lower lip.

"You'd better go back Mas and take care of Rere for me for a while! I don't want to see you here!" hannum said in a firm voice.

Alvin who could not argue or say anything stood up and took his belongings and left the place.

Hannum who knew that Alvin had come out of the house rushed to lock the fence and the door of the house and locked himself back into the room.

As the days go by, Ibu Wati who lost her one Daughter turns into a different person overnight which makes Hannum even more worried.

Ibu Wati who apparently could not accept the fact that Zarrah had left the house made Ibu Wati become depressed.

Wati's mother who loved Zarrah even privileged Zarrah to make him hallucinate and make it back to the past when the two Daughters still get along.

"Sir, this is your Adek's favorite chicken, ask him to eat right after he gets home from school! I'm going to the snack shop for your sister!" said Ibu Wati who has been dressed neatly while carrying a bag.

"Mother! What did Mom say? Zarrah is gone from home! Mother herself threw him out!" hannum said in a slightly raised voice hoping that Ibu Wati would come to her senses.

"Where's the dust? What did you do to your sister? As a big brother, you should have given in to your sister but why are you so stubborn that you made your sister leave!" Ibu Wati shouted with an angry face and then hit Hannum's shoulders, arms and body as if giving Hannum punishment.

Hannum who heard his mother's words cried even the pain of the blow she received was not felt because the pain in her heart made her numb.

"Aarrgghhh! Mother realize! Mama! Mama!" hannum said in a soft voice with tears coming out endlessly from her eyes.

Hannum, who has felt the love of Ibu Wati's excess on Zarrah since childhood, feels increasingly ill when trouble comes to her.

"Dad! Missed you!" said Hannum who sat with his legs folded and hugged himself with a raucous voice.

Hannum who always got the first champion in his school was envious of Zarrah who immediately got the prize he wanted so much when only ranked in the top ten because he never received it even congratulations nor was he heard.

"Mom, I'm your son too. I was also born from your womb but why do you always think of Zarrah?" gumamm Hannum with swollen eyes.

"Here I am the victim, ma'am. But why are you punishing me for everything Zarrah did to me?" hannum asked himself with a pain that could not be hidden in every word, action, and expression.

Although sad and disappointed but Hannum who loved his mother could not leave Mother Wati alone in such circumstances that made Hannum apologize to Rere.

"I'm sorry Mama, son! Mama didn't have the courage to meet your father and set foot in the house that was originally Heaven but has now become Hell for me!" hannum said in her heart while hugging her phone after making a video call with Rere.

Day after day, a week passed, the condition of Ibu Wati was increasingly alarming so that Hannum could not afford to be caught off guard.

"Mother! It was shampoo and not soy sauce!" yelled Hannum who quickly took the shampoo bottle from the hands of Ms. Wati then led Ms. Wati to the dining table and helped her.

"Yes, God. What happened to Mom? Why did you become like this?" hannum said in her heart while looking sadly at Ibu Wati who was eating.

Meanwhile, Andika who has been menalak Zarrah religiously in Malang turned out to have finished collecting all the files for his divorce.

"Ma, I'm going to the Religious Court. I'd like to file for divorce for Zarrah!" andika said with a serious facial expression.

"Of course you have to do it! Mama really does not want to accept Daughter-in-law like Zarrah even from the beginning Mama has opposed this Marriage!" mother Nissa said with a tone of voice that sounded very angry.

"I'm sorry, Ma. I was wrong for not listening to Mama's advice!" said Andika who again felt guilty for not trusting women who had conceived, given birth, breastfed her and raised her lovingly.

"Mama's glad you're sober now so deal with your divorce immediately and approach Hannum!" said Nissa's mother suddenly which made Andika raise her eyebrows one out of confusion.

"Mom really likes Hannum. I can see that Hannum is a good woman and also shaleha!" said Ms. Nissa with eyes that sparkled expectantly.

Andika who is not thinking about Marriage is currently choosing to go and rush to the Religious Court leaving Nissa's mother who is imagining that Hannum is her son-in-law and Rere is her granddaughter.
