32 - Sleeping on Your Laps.

Arvan seemed to be thinking about something to make him speechless.

"Arvan, what are you thinking about that makes you daydream like that?" asked the King who was able to make Arvan aware of his daydream.

"I was just thinking, what exactly was the reason I was sent to the Royal Palace by my father who was the Western chieftain was because my father was trying to protect me from the possibility of a fight between the two tribes back then? Was it possible that I had mistakenly thought that I was taken prisoner by my own father for the sake of peace at that time?" Arvan was wondering.

"We are still both small to understand the problems of that time first, but since long ago I consider you as a good friend. Never once did I consider you a prisoner" said the King

"But, if not taken prisoner, how come my father never once invited me home even when the battle had only been more than ten years since I was sent to the Royal Palace?" ask Arvan

"Maybe you really misunderstood the chieftain, Arvan. Where there may be a parent who can make his own child as a prisoner, even though even a group of bars. It seems your father just wanted to protect you. The reason why your father never picked you up, maybe it was a parent's premonition" Yura explained

"Because even though your delivery to the Royal Palace has passed for a very long time, in the end the fight between the two tribes still happened. Hence, your father also sent mistress Azkia to become the King's concubine. All that he just wanted to protect you both. Maybe he felt that somehow the Royal Palace was the safest place" Yura continued

"Yura, it's been quite a while since you came to the Royal Palace even you've been quite close to Arvan, already, why are you telling me now what you think of Arvan who wasn't a prisoner after the King asked you to tell me about your story of saving the Western tribe?" ask the Queen

"I'm sorry, Her Majesty the Queen .. I think it's like a fight between the two tribes, this matter is Arvan's internal matter with her father, the chief of the Western tribe. As much as possible I did not want to interfere because I was worried that it would only worsen the father-son relationship between the Western chieftain and Arvan himself" Yura replied

"Uncle Arvan is the son of a Western chieftain which means a tribal prince? I just found out about this. I've only heard about captives quite often, but I don't understand the reason why Uncle Arvan was taken as a prisoner, even though Uncle Arvan was a good man" Arsha said

"Yes, Crown Prince. I never told him because I took this as a disgrace that I was a prisoner. However, it seems that I myself misunderstood the purpose of the Western chieftain sending me to the Royal Palace since childhood," said Arvan

"All I know is that before you came to the Royal Palace, the previous King and Queen said that I would have a playmate, a sidekick. Hence, I always considered you a good friend long ago," said the King

"Arvan, you might be able to think about what happened. You may have been sent away to the Royal Palace and your father may never have picked you up to come back home, but have you really been ignored and forgotten? Did the chieftain never even ask you about it even through a letter?" ask Yura

"If I, I still firmly believe that the Western chieftain still cares deeply for you and Azkia's mistress, for both of you, her son. Never once did you feel disappointed or resentful about your parents, however, without him you would never be able to be present in this world. Think of all this as an unexpected expectation. You may not like it, but it could be the best for you. Like Arsha who sees you as a good person, your father cannot throw away a good child like you" Yura said

Arvan was silent again. The man thought about what Yura said that was most likely true. He did not expect his mind to be opened by the words of a girl he had not met for a long time who was even able to steal his heart.

"That's enough. Stop discussing this matter again" said the King

"Yes, we better eat the snacks that have been provided .".

They began eating snacks provided by the waiter who helped prepare the camp tonight.

"That's enough, Auntie. I was already full because I had eaten quite a lot of dinner before," Arsha said after eating some snacks chosen by Yura for her.

"alright. Then, drink it first after eating the snack," said Yura who took a glass of drinks available to give to Arsha.

Arsha received a glass of drink from Yura and drank it, then put it back after that.

"Crown Prince, are you feeling sleepy?" asked Arvan who saw the signs of drowsiness shown by Arsha as after the previous martial practice.

"Aunt Yura, can I sleep on your lap?" arsha asked after nodding in exchange for answers to questions from Arvan.

Hearing his nephew's wishes, Yura immediately tidied up her sitting position.

"Arsha, do you want to move your sleep into the room inside the Villa? Or do you just want to sleep on Mom's lap?" ask the Queen

"I still want to be here with everyone, I don't want to sleep alone in the Villa room while the others are out here" Arsha replied

"It's okay, Her Majesty. Let Arsha sleep on my lap" Yura said

"Sleep first, Arsha. When the time to go back into the Villa later, will Aunt bangungkan .. " continued Yura turned to talk to Arsha while patting her thigh as if inviting Arsha to lie on her lap.

"Thank you, Bibi .." said Arsha who immediately put her head on Yura's lap.

"I mean, right, we can go straight back inside the villa right now," the Queen said

"Maybe Arsha knows that Her Majesty the Queen still wants to see the night scene out here, so it's not hearty if you miss the moment you really expect just because of her" Yura said

"Come, take off the scarf on your neck first, Arsha. So you don't feel suffocated while sleeping" Yura continued

Arsha immediately took off the scarf that made it feel stuck on her neck as said by Yura.
