Orphan Adventure in the Blue Sea

Orphan Adventure in the Blue Sea
prologues

That's my name, our family lives in the corner of Astlan, a small country.

When I was five, my father went to war. Did they say something like the Garref Kingdom was going to attack?

Around that time, I had a younger sister named Giselle.I thought she was a cute little sister with blonde hair. Even though he was still a baby, he had dark blue eyes.

That's how I live with my mom. We live as a family of three, waiting for our father who never came back. Every now and then, letters from my father would be sent from the battlefield. But the frequency is decreasing.

Things changed when I was 6 years old. After I received the notification that my father was killed in battle, my mother and I went mad.

She started crying all the time, and no matter how hard I tried to comfort her, she didn't stop crying.

`Johan,'' said my mother.

"I can't stay in this house anymore. My father is dead. The rental price of this house is too high for me to live off the rest of my savings. It seems Johan has not understood. Anyway, let's move in together, the three of us.”

`Yes, I understand, Mom.'' I just obediently, without hesitation followed the mother who was holding the suckling baby Gisele out of the house.

The flames of war have not yet reached the city we live in. Apparently, my father went to war in another country east of Astlan to join the allies.

We left the town where we lived and headed to another village by train. I went to the village where my mother's relatives were. Her mother said she had no choice but to rely on her relatives. If it doesn't work, Johan tells me not to worry about depending on my father's relatives.

With only one driver left, we continued with the delman to visit our relatives.

However, the coachman was a bad person.

One night, while we were resting and sleeping, the driver stole my mother's luggage and purse by force and fled. It was a time of war, everyone was thirsty for money and supplies, and that was a natural thing. My mom said it was my fault for not being careful.

I was seven at the time and there was nothing I could do about it.

We were left behind in the forest, along with a little bit of the property we left behind, in the forest that might have been a beast.

I still have to cross several cities to reach my mother's relatives. Stranded in a mountain like this, there was no way to survive. Mom was stunned and started crying.

After crying for a while, my mother was lucky enough to see the sunlight in the morning and discovered that a town-like village had been scattered at the foot of the mountain. Fortunately, it was a city that could be reached within an hour from here.

`Johan,'' my mother told me. While holding 2-year-old Gisele.

After saying that, my mother bowed slightly, stroked my forehead, and said, My mother bowed slightly,

"Johan, don't forget. My mother always looked up to you and loved you. But, he was tired of trying even harder in a world that your father no longer existed. I don't know the geographical location of my brother's house." 'and I don't have the money to go there now, so it's impossible...''

Mother let go of Giselle's hand which had already started walking, and hugged me tightly. I was so desperate and anxious that I couldn't say anything. At the critical moment, I can't say anything.

"This is your last trip, Johan. You can see the cathedral in the city. Johan, live strong. And if possible, please protect your sister - Giselle... You can definitely. ...Johan, I'm sorry my mother ...But my mother can't be by my side anymore..."

"mother……?"

The next morning, the three of us gathered the remaining small items and started walking towards the village below. When we finally made it, my mother took us and asked the townspeople for directions to the cathedral in the middle of the city, and we finally got there.

My mother talked to the priest for a long time. About an hour later, I listened in bewilderment as the sisters guarding us said, `From now on, you will stay here, Johan-kun.''

Mother left us with the cathedral priest, said goodbye to us, kissed us, and left. Giselle's...The locket I left to Giselle who was only about 2 years old and said, `At the very least, I pray for the future of these children.''

There is no point in remembering it. It's been 10 years since then, and I've been 17, with less than a year left until I became an adult. As for my younger sister, Giselle, who is five years younger than me, she is already 12 years old and is already quite mature. However, Gisele, who originally had a weak body, was slightly shorter than the other children around her. They were poor, and although I used my income to feed them, I could not eat much.

After finishing my daily work, I slowly headed towards the city cathedral. For now, Giselle is working when she feels well, and every night she prays to God with the priest and sisters in the cathedral.

"Giselle," call me. It was always my daily routine to pick her up like this, and it was also a small pleasure.

Bathed in sunset light, light reflected on her beautiful blonde hair, Giselle – my sister – turned around.

 Then he smiled and said.

“Thank you for your hard work, brother. Let's go home together.”

“Oh, true, Giselle.”

Our daily lives passed like this. I always wondered if these days would continue forever.

At least, I thought this way I would support my sister until Giselle married someone nice and no longer needed my help. That's core.

A certain incident occurred in the daily life of Giselle and I.
