REVENGE OF EX-WIFE

REVENGE OF EX-WIFE
12. Ex-Husband as Assistant

The POV Dena

"How are you feeling now, Dena?" ask old man Gilang after I officially became the owner of this company and known everyone who became ‘pegawai’ in this central company.

I smiled and nodded. "That's all, sir. Never felt like I was this happy."

For a moment, old man Gilang nodded in understanding. It seemed that something was stored in his heart. I watched him, this curiosity made me ask. "I think you have something to ask. Just ask sir. Don't make me more curious. Just be open to me, you've got me in this position, one question won't make me mind hearing it."

Afraid she's talking. After I managed to convince him he finally started talking. "Why did the lady ask Ray to be your assistant? Isn't that the same as opening the veil of your grief again?"

"Yes, that includes. But I want to teach him a little lesson, keep him here because before I became the rightful owner here, he was already there. So just think of it like a favor, "I'm frank.

Old man Gilang nodded. "Had the madam told him to get us some tea when there was a cleaning service if the example was passing by."

"Hm, I don't think it is necessary Sir. I want to work on it so that he knows he is tired of being his wife in the past." I remember being his wife for half a year. He made me a slave when the late father-in-law was not home. All the work is charged to me until it feels like this body is crumbling! made.

"Letting him take tea is nothing, sir," I said.

Shortly after I spoke, the man who was my assistant came. "Here, madam."

"Thank you" I let my smile engrave on him. It's okay, he's been trying. Haha…

"What do you usually do when you become an owner?" I tried asking him. Just want to know if he's going to lie to me.

"Meeting, cooperation, and supervise the work of subordinates."

"But it's not the job of an Assistant. It's the Secretary's work" he replied without laughter adorning his face.

I'm embarrassed, yeah.I forgot it wasn't Assistant work. "Yes already, you're so

My secretary, from this second."

"Well, madam," she lowered her head, accepting this job.

"You may go out for a while" I said, again commanding him.

"Not to set you up."

My gaze was shifted to old man Gilang. "Why, Sir?"

"As the new leader, you must not rule at will. Even if you're the new owner of the heritage line."

Suddenly guilt enveloped me. "So what should I do? It's not that in the business world it's hard, who's the ruler, it's who rules– like he did to me."

"But you're new. Employees who have worked for years can resign from the company because of your outrageous nature. Attitude is everything in the business world. You should know about that, ma'am" he said.

"Didn't everyone do everything for money?" my question does not understand.

"Money does not pay self-esteem, but money only pays the hard work that many people do for something, such as work. That's the main lesson a leader should be taught before starting a career. I just don't want you to go the wrong way and even destroy your father's previous efforts and the many leaders who served before you.
