SALOKA RESIDENCE

SALOKA RESIDENCE
CHAPTRE 024

In front of SALOKA RESIDENT, there was Rose who was in that place. He was on vacation from his duty. He wore casual clothes like any other young man.

White sneakers as well as a baseball jacket with scattered hair, make it look very pretty.

He leaned back in his car, then greeted Eli when he saw him in front of the building.

“Aibi!” Rose walked towards Eli. “Who are you?” ask Eli who doesn't remember.

“I was here at the time. Don't you remember it?” “Oh, you're the pretty cop that was yesterday?” eli smiled. “Yes, it's me,” Rose replied.

“Gosh. You look younger when you're not wearing a police uniform,” Eli said. “Do not do so, Auntie. You also look very pretty,” praise Rose.

“Do you want to go somewhere?” ask Rose. “I want to volunteer for the elderly who live alone,” Eli replied. “Gosh. You did a very noble job,” said Rose.

They both laughed together.

“It seems, you have done it often,” Rose said. “What do you mean?” eli asked confusedly.

“No. I mean, I think you've done a lot of that noble work,” Rose explained. “Gosh. So apparently,” Eli laughed.

“Why are you here? Do you want to see me?” ask Eli. “There's something I want to ask you, Aunty.” Rose opened her bag looking for something.

“Do you know this person?” Rose showed a photo of a missing person who was in the vicinity of SALOKA RESIDENT.

“Oh, this guy. He was one of the occupants of the room in this building before. Called Sem. He is a foreigner who comes from Indonesia,” replied Eli looking at the photo.

“Don't you know, if he disappears?” ask Rose. “Of course. Even I reported this incident,” Eli replied with a splash.

“What's up? Did you find him?” ask Eli. “Not yet. Me and my team are still looking for it,” Rose put the photo back in her bag.

“Jeez, haven't seen him yet. I am so sad to hear this,” Eli said with a hearty heart.

“Actually I don't want to tell you this, but the police have to work even harder. I hope you and your team act immediately and solve this problem,” continued Eli trying to cover up the real incident.

“Of course, Auntie. I will work and do further investigation for this matter,” Rose smiled.

“Good. You have to patrol every night to keep the security around here. Many young people even parents who date and throw garbage carelessly here. Gosh darn. That pisses me off.”

“Hey, Young Man!” Eli saw and called Jack who was eavesdropping earlier, hearing Rose and Eli's conversation. Jack eavesdropped on the stairs from behind the walls of the building.

“What are you doing? You're not going to work?” continued Eli.

Jack turned his face away and was puzzled looking for answers.

“Ya, sure. I. I'm sending a message to my boss. Told him that I had a little,” said stammered Jack.

“Good. Then I'll go. Excuse me,” Jack walked quickly to his motorbike, then left the building immediately.

Rose just shut up and saw Jack off on his bike.

‘Jeez, the boy.” “I'll also go first. See you, Police Beautiful.” Eli smiled at Rose, then left the building.

“Sure, Aunt. Be careful on the road,” said Rose.

The intersection was very crowded with people who were on the move on that very sunny morning.

A white sedan passed by and stopped right next to Jack's parked motorcycle.

The driver of the car was Rose. Rose follows Jack from the boarding house to a stop when she sees Jack, who also stops at the intersection.

Rose got out of her car, approached Jack who had just come out of the money machine (ATM).

“Excuse me, didn't we meet at SALOKA RESIDENT?” said Rose. “Yes,” replied Jack nodding his head.

“Can we chat for a while?” said Rose. “But I have to go to work,” Jack said looking at his watch.

“Just a minute, please,” said Rose put her hands together. Begging really.

“Alright,” said Jack who finally wanted to talk to Rose.

The two of them stood on the quiet sidewalk and started chatting.

“I'll get to the point. How long have you lived in SALOKA RESIDENT?” ask Rose. “I am a new resident of that place. Maybe about 4-5 days,” clear Jack.

“Hmm, is that it?” Rose nodded. “Tadi, I overheard your conversation with the owner of the building. Is there really a stranger who disappeared in that building?” asked Jack, very curious.

Jack is very curious and kepo, as he hears a different statement from Eli as he eavesdropped on the stairs.

“Yes, you're right. However, all residents there seem very calm as if nothing happened,” explained Rose.

“Are there any reports of missing persons again after or other than that?” ask Jack. “Other? Has anyone else disappeared in that place?” ask Rose, look at Jack.

“Yes, I think so. There's a grown man I met and I haven't seen him lately. Lady Eli said, that she was going to move out of the building, but strangely it was sudden and very sudden.”

“In my opinion, the grown man is not that kind of person. Disappear suddenly. In fact, I once ate instant noodles and chatted a few times with him.”

Rose stared seriously, listening to the information provided by Jack.

“In addition, not long ago there was a male detective who was also looking for the whereabouts of the adult man who disappeared. I'm sure the detective was an acquaintance of the man who disappeared in SALOKA RESIDENT.”

“I met the detective right in front of the building, asked me, and gave him his business card.”

“Detective?” rose was surprised. “Yes. A detective,” replied Jack. “Can you give me his phone number?” said Rose.

“Wah! I'm not sure I remember that number either. His business card was left in my office. When I get to the office, I'll send it to you.”

“Then, this is for you.” Rose took out her business card and gave it to Jack. “It says my phone number. You can contact me directly through this number.”

“I would really appreciate it, if you would contact me.”

Jack nodded, receiving Rose's business card.

“Good. Then I'll go first. Looks like I'm too late. Excuse me,” said Jack.

“Sure. Be careful on the road,” Rose said seeing Jack ride his bike and get away from the intersection.
