Chapter 43: Duo K's Engagement

"Really, if you ask me for help. I'll make sure to bring your mother back in your arms." Tanca walked past the bodyguards and approached the middle-aged woman ahead. "A child can do anything for their mother, but don't think. I don't know why you sold your mother. Vio the night girl."

The silence resumed with the whispers of the guests. The gaze that he originally wanted to defend turned to hate and disgust. Not long after the whisper ended, Tanca again snapped her fingers and some people re-entered the ballroom with a man in handcuffs.

Mrs Abizar was shocked when she saw the man being held captive by police officers. He walked towards the entrance of the ballroom. All eyes could only restrain their curiosity about the drama on the big day of the Abizar family.

The bodyguards took Vio, and handed over to the authorities. As for Vio's mother, Tanca let the woman stay where she had been provided.

The ballroom calmed down again, with the Abizar family sitting on stage again. The invited guests sat back without a face of tranquility.

"Good night, everybody. Forgive me for tonight's incident, let's continue the engagement. Kenzo, Keano, please stand up and get your rings ready!" Madame Abizar extended her hand towards the front of the stage, making the K duo look at each other and give the eye code then stand in unison.

The sound of applause filled the ballroom, and guests stood up to witness the rare event.

Duo K walked forward to the front of the stage, with a box of dark blue velvet rings. Both are standing next to each other.

"Kenzo Dion Al Abizar, welcome your future wife Aurel" Abizar said.

The orange dress girl who seemed fresh, but elegant stood up, and walked around the long table. Then his steps stopped right in front of Kenzo, making the man stare unblinkingly with raised eyebrows.

It felt like the face of the woman in front of me was familiar, but who? Tanca called him bee. No, it's impossible if this woman is MD.~batin Kenzo.

"Daughter of Aruna, will you marry me?" Keano bathes with an open ring box aimed at Tanca, his beloved woman.

Sweet Keano's attitude, made the cheers of the invited guests rumble. The "Accept" call echoed in the ballroom. Tanca took a step forward, and came to rest with a gentle gaze drowning in Keano's eyes.

"Yes, I will." replied Tanca extending her left hand.

Keano smiled as she took out a ring with the crown of a blue sea diamond with the initials KA, then paired it to the ring finger of Tanca's left hand.

The cheers of the invited guests were full of happiness and congratulations, unaware of the tightness Kenzo felt.

Keano and Tanca walk backwards, letting Kenzo do the ring exchange.

"Kenzo, start!" tell madame Abizar.

One minute.

Five minutes.

Ten minutes.

Guests look at each other not understanding what happened to Kenzo. Where the man was silent stiff with no expression. The box in his right hand was tightly clasped. It was as if the man was reluctant to make this engagement.

The restlessness on Madam Abizar's face was obvious, making Tanca who was always watching everyone act quickly. Ano's grip was released, and his footsteps walked over to Kenzo. Not forgetting his hand held Kenzo's left shoulder.

"Ken, go! I know it's hard, but it's the best." whispered Tanca, making Kenzo look at the woman with a hearty look.

"I'm not going to walk away from your side. That's my promise, but our relationship needs to be fixed. Bee's a good girl, and she's able to take care of you. You hear me, Ken?!" Tanca looked at Kenzo inside, letting the man see that everything was real and not a dream.

Kenzo sighed, momentarily staring at the orange-matching woman then turning to look at Tanca back. "As you wish, but make sure never to leave me."

Tanca nodded and removed her hand from Kenzo's shoulder, then returned to Keano's side. There was no complaint from his fiancee, other than a look of tranquility.

Kenzo extended his hand as he opened the ring box, "Give me your hand!"

The devil extended his hand, letting Kenzo wear a red diamond ring with the initials KA.

The applause of the invited guests re-echoed, replacing the tense atmosphere because of Kenzo.

"Aruna, and Alona, it's your turn!" the Order of Lady Abizar.

Tanca and the devil looked at each other, both nodded then simultaneously did three applause. Until a servant came with a tray on top of which were two boxes of black velvet rings.

"Who are those two women?" ask one of the curious guests.

"The woman in princess dress is as far as I know the right hand of duo K, while the other one I don't know. I just saw this time." replied the guest next to him.

Tanca takes one box on the right side, while the devil takes one box on the left side. The waiter again left the stage, making the two women who were the center of attention again face to face with their respective partners.

"Welcome to my life" said the two along with opening the box with outstretched hands.

Keano greeted Tanca's hand with a perfectly developed smile, making the woman pin the ring with a round white diamond crown to the ring finger of her male left hand.

Similarly, Kenzo imitates Keano's actions without a smile. Flat face with a sharp gaze directed at the Devil. However, the woman was undaunted and still pinned a box-shaped white diamond-studded ring.
