Still You's

Still You's
The 100 Day Celebration?

Saturday, 20:44 WIB. Afif was lying on his bed. Staring at the roof of his boarding room that he had occupied since he became a freshman.

"So the boarding boy did not feel good," he murmured slowly. His eyes were still staring at the roof of his room, while his mind was thinking of the unexpected.

After a while, he suddenly remembered something. "What date, right?"

Afif rolled over, grabbed a small calendar on the nightstand, then looked at it.

"Twenty-five?" He was still mumbling, remembering something.

"Mantep, five more days young date!" Spirit continued.

In addition to the 25th, Afif frowned when he saw the 26th he had circled with a red pen.

"Two six? What day, huh?"

His eyes were still faithfully staring at the calendar, until a few seconds later, his eyes shifted towards the bottom. Look at the little writing there.

'One hundred anniversaries with Wulan.'

Afif read it, but his brain didn't work. He just nodded his head, then put the calendar in place, then returned to the previous position.

A second later, Afif widened his eyes in shock, moving back to stare at his slick calendar.

"Hundred days with Wulan?"

"Can't you forget?"

"Not bought a gift, my God!"

Elsewhere, at the same time. Wulan had just entered her house with a lazy step. On his right and left hand was a crackle filled with food for dinner today.

Wulan sat down with her leisure on a chair that was in her boarding room. The food crackle he placed on a medium-sized table, then he leaned his back, closing his eyes.

"It's only been a second semester of stress, let alone a fifth semester, huh?" Monologues mumbled.

A few minutes later, he opened his eyes. "Si Adi how are you, huh?"

"Why not go to the same university? Even out of town!" Sunglasses.

Wulan muttered, a moment later he opened the crackle he was carrying. His stomach that had sounded from earlier, now sounded clearer.

"Sir Adi, not Yulia. Same thing!" His monologue with a moving hand opened his food.

"Mending a meal, you know!"

"Prophey, Cing! The food's on its way to the mouth!"

The next day, exactly Sunday. Wulan opened her eyes slowly. His eyes squinted as sunlight began to pierce through the window glass in his room.

Wulan yawned, then stretched her muscles. Wulan who was still sleepy at that time, he closed his eyes again. Trying to find the best position that can make him comfortable in his sleep.

Ting!

Ting!

Ting!

Notification of the message that just entered makes Wulan inevitably re-open his eyes and look at the screen of his phone.

Twenty-nine missed calls.

Thirteen messages have not been read.

Looking at the notification, Wulan snorted, then saw who was calling and what the text message was about.

Drrt ....

The vibration of his phone followed by the sound of phone notifications now makes Wulan fully aware. Without a second thought, he picked up his phone line and immediately heard various kinds of scolding from across there.

"Where the hell, my dear?"

"For a long time, ish!" Rajuknya.

"What day is this? Or how?"

"Ah you mah" he said back in a sulking tone.

Wulan frowned confusedly, then turned her phone screen away and made sure, is this nagging fellow really her lover, or not?

Apipah <3

The name was plastered on the screen of his phone, making Wulan snort miserably.

"What, anyway? Just waking up to this," he replied annoyed after a moment of ignoring Afif.

"Have you forgotten that today is exactly 100 days?"

Wulan was silent, she was gawking. Inexhaustible by the thought of his lover.

Wulan took a breath, then threw it away slowly. Trying to be patient with your interlocutor.

"Darling, your lady just woke up, you know!" Wulan spoke, while maintaining her wry smile that Afif could not see.

"Continue?"

Wulan chuckled softly, then replied, "let me eat first, or wash my face."

Afif silent. This made Wulan again check the screen of his phone, while raising his eyebrows.

"Huh-"

"Yes, gih!"

The voice that suddenly sounded, made Wulan a little surprised. When he wanted to answer, Afif's voice came back.

"Yes, I'm dead, yeah. Assalamualaikum," he said, then turned off the connection.

🦋🦋

The watch that Wulan wore now showed at half an hour in the afternoon. Wulan who was neat in her suit was now sighing. Quite agitated, because of the events of this morning.

"What's the cave after the hostel, huh?" His monologue.

"Ah, follow ae dah's heart's instructions!"

Wulan stood up, picked up the motor key and rushed out. He opened the door, but he was surprised.

Wulan saw Afif standing in front of her, with a right hand that looked like he was about to knock on the door. A second later, Afif lowered his hand, then looked at Wulan with a questioning look.

"Where are you going?" The question is gentle, but with a flat tone. His face did not even show a smile.

Wulan who felt a little prestige to admit that he was about to approach Afif, he scratched his nape slowly.

"Hehe, not anywhere!"

Afif silent. He decided to sit in the front seat of the Wulan boarding house, followed by Wulan who sat in the other seat.

Afif is silent. Inside him, he tried to repel the growing annoyance. Try to think about things he likes as long as they have a relationship.

One minute.

Two minutes.

Still silent, making Wulan a little uneasy. Sometimes he glanced at Afif who seemed reluctant to look at him.

Five minutes.

Ten minutes.

"Honey," called Wulan, with a whining tone.

Afif turned his head, looking at Wulan who looked a little scared of him.

Afif took a deep breath, then threw it away slowly. "What?" The answer is as gentle as possible, accompanied by a thin smile.

Wulan was silent, watching Afif who was smiling faintly, then she asked, "angry?"

🦋🦋

Both of them laughed crisply. Ignoring the clockwork that kept running and now shows at half-five in the afternoon.

"A ninja turtle is a frog or a frog?" Afif asked suddenly, making Wulan immediately think.

"Rubber!" The answer was quick, making Afif shake his head slowly.

"Ninja turtle, loh. Time yes in the same frog, anyway?" The answer, then chuckled.

Wulan pouted, pinching the plan of Afif's arm which even made Afif anxious.

Afif looked at the circular clock on his left wrist, showing it at 17:45 WIB. which means he has to go home now.

"I'm home, huh?"

Wulan looked at Afif, but he was confused as to how to respond.

"uh? Going home?"

Afif silent. It was evident from the look on his face that he had not wanted to leave Wulan for now.

After a few minutes of silence, Afif returned to his voice. "Well, I'll go home first, yeah."

"Udah wants magrib because," he continued.

Wulan nodded, following Afif who was now standing.

"Be careful, yes!"

"Thank you, the gift."

Afif nodded, smiling knot. "I didn't get a present, did I?"
