Deathly Forest
The Underground Emperor Organization made Jian Chen feel interested. He wanted to see what the purpose of the organization was. But that was a problem in the future, right now he only had to focus on increasing his strength and moving to the center of the Deathly Forest and find out what exactly the thing that appeared.
“Do you still have things to ask?” Asked Yan Zhong staring towards Jian Chen and Xiao Yu.
“No.” Jian Chen and Xiao Yu shook their heads together.
“If so, let's go. All the dead have been buried. Soon enough, we will reach the center of this forest of Death.” Yan Zhong said as he made his move then gave orders to all his subordinates.
As Yan Zhong made a move carrying all of his subordinates, Jian Chen and Xiao Yu immediately followed. This time, all of Yan Zhong's subordinates no longer underestimated Jian Chen and Xiao Yu. Their current gazes were respectful gazes. This was a common thing in the world of cultivators, respecting the strong.
To Jian Chen and Xiao Yu, the two did not care at all about it.
The group led by Yan Zhong continued to move towards the center of the Deathly Forest. On the way, their group often met with other cultivators but no one dared to provoke as many of them were familiar with Yan Zhong. Who of those who had come to Yan Kingdom often did not know the former General of Yan Kingdom?
Time continued to pass, subconsciously, it had been almost half a day that Yan Zhong's group moved towards the center of the Deathly Forest.
Jian Chen who was following from behind also narrowed his eyes as he suddenly tracked down something in a place far enough away.
Even Yan Zhong who was leading the way was also tracking something even though it was only faint, not as good as Jian Chen.
“We'll be here soon! All of you, beware because there are so many cultivators who have gathered!” Yan Zhong immediately gave orders to all of his subordinates.
All of Yan Zhong's subordinates put on serious faces and they simply nodded their heads.
“Nearly a hundred cultivators have arrived there! I did not expect that there would be many survivors during the journey! Not only is the threat of powerful spirit beasts, even other cultivators are enemies.” Jian Chen said implying that all of them are elites among the cultivators who are on the island of Lizawa.
Not until five minutes later, Jian Chen narrowed his eyes when he saw a huge object in the distance, the trees around him had disappeared.
“Jian Chen, am I hallucinating? It is impossible for such a large palace not to be found in a very long time.” Xiao Yu said as he stared at the giant palace which had a height of about 40 meters in white.
“No Xiao Yu, what you see is very real because I saw it too.” Reply Jian Chen and did not take his eyes off the palace.
Yan Zhong landed at a distance of about 20 meters from the palace. He put on an astonished face because even the palace was bigger than the palace of the Yan Kingdom.
Jian Chen who was flat on the ground was also staring towards the surroundings of the palace. He narrowed his eyes because he knew that the white palace was originally buried underground. There are still many traces of land in the palace as well as the land around the palace looks like it was forced to spread in all directions from within the ground.
“This palace is huge!” xiao Yu was amazed.
“Oh? Isn't that Yan Zhong? Is he still alive? It was unexpected.”
“He is still alive. I got the information that he was exiled along with former Prince Yan Shi.”
“If a cultivator as strong as himself appeared, then this would be even more troublesome to take whatever was inside the palace.”
A few random cultivators were discussing on the spot as they stared at the arrival of the group led by Yan Zhong.
Elsewhere, Xin Yuan and Xin Yan who had arrived there stared at Jian Chen and Xiao Yu with angry gazes. Both of them would not forget that the two people were causing them trouble and even snatched the six Mythril Stones they were fighting for.
In a place not too far away, the group led by the veiled woman who was a member of the Underground Emperor Organization also gazed towards the arrival of the group of Yan Zhong. But they all just kept quiet and gazed back towards the palace.
To the troops from the Yan Kingdom, they all just put on a grim face because they were previously defeated by the group of Yan Zhong and it was due to the help from Jian Chen and Xiao Yu. Even for Yan Gong, he suppressed his anger and tried to refrain from lunging towards Jian Chen and Xiao Yu.
Jian Chen's gaze continued to move there and here. There were some groups he did not know. But, when gazing in a certain direction, his face instantly became serious instantly.
What Jian Chen saw was someone he had met while still in Shanghai.
“Ku Zuo!” Inner Jian Chen was currently staring at the middle-aged man who helped him awaken his Birth Weapon at the Shanghai City Resurrection Temple.
Now Jian Chen was firmly convinced that Ku Zuo was indeed an elder of the Sect located in the territory of the Yan Kingdom, the Great Spirit Sect. He was sent to Shanghai City to look for a new disciple, but was too underestimating Jian Chen's Azure Sword potential because it was just a rusty sword back then.
Ku Zuo felt someone looking at him and immediately turned his head towards Jian Chen. When he looked at Jian Chen intently as well, his eyes narrowed slightly and not long after that instantly shrank sharply.
His face displayed an expression of disbelief at all. He certainly remembers a little unique kid about three years ago in Shanghai. The reason he remembered it clearly, it was because Jian Chen asked about something that interested him. Moreover, only Jian Chen was a boy who almost looked like a woman.
Anyone who saw Jian Chen, they had to admit that the god was too kind to him because it was born so handsome that it could rival a woman's face.
“The child... Impossible! How can!” Ku Zuo was in complete disbelief when he saw Jian Chen.
“What's my brother?” Asked the middle-aged man next to Ku Zuo.
Ku Zuo did not reply and stared towards Jian Chen's waist. His heart beat faster as it certainly remembered the patterns of Jian Chen's sword sheath which was very unique when it was resurrected.
Right now, Ku Zuo who had the strength of a Martial Grand Master level could certainly track Jian Chen's cultivation and he finally felt that he was underestimating Jian Chen too much and considered him a piece of trash. In fact, he had unleashed a high-level genius for having tracked down Jian Chen's cultivation reaching the eighth stage Martial Master level.
