Thank goodness Dean's condition improved. The morning as a newlywed, still must be passed in the inpatient room.
After being examined by the doctor again, Dean was declared fine, and could go home later in the afternoon. Yes, according to the request of the man who did not feel at home lingering in the hospital.
"I told you, right, I'm fine." Dean kissed the back of his wife's hand. No day without touch. I think he would be crazy if he couldn't do that.
"I should be ready then. We'll be home later in the afternoon."
"What to prepare?" no wonder actually that women are a species that likes detailed things. "I was here just yesterday. There's only one dress that my mother brought."
"Do I have to stay at your place?"
"Your husband has a home of his own, Latina. Of course you have to stay with me."
Latina grinning. "I mean, I haven't packed anything yet."
"Forget it about that first. We can take care of it later."
The successive beats stopped the casual conversation between husband and wife. Both of them looked at the open door. Latina smiled as Verhaag appeared, then a second later the smile receded because there was Jason behind.
The case was handled by Dean's lawyer. Nasin was lucky to side with Jason because he did not have time to taste the pleasure of sleeping in a prison cell.
"Son, how are you?" Verhaag asked Dean.
"I've improved. I can go home later in the afternoon." Dean greeted him with a smile.
"Good then. Hope everything's better." Verhaag looked at Jason. His eyes seemed to tell the boy to apologize immediately.
Jason cleared his throat. He took a breath for a moment. "I'm so sorry I hurt you. Yesterday's situation was completely out of control."
"It's not just your fault. I trigger emotions in your heart, and you're naturally angry. Yeah, but, I'm grateful to be alive." Dean laughed saying that.
Jason looked at Verhaag. He thinks this is enough because Dean doesn't mind it either. But, this father was still glaring at her, and that apology was not enough.
"You are my sister-in-law. I can't bear to keep you in a cell."
Jason frowning. "What do you mean?"
"Don't Latina think of Lord Verhaag as her father? That means, you and Latina are brothers. Actually, I'm also grateful for yesterday's incident. Because of that incident, Latina and I have officially become a married couple."
"W-what?" Jason was obviously shocked to hear this news because Verhaag had not said anything since last night. On the way to the hospital, also the old man did not tell.
"I forgot to tell you, Jason," Verhaag said.
"So, you're married?"
Dean nodded. "We're married, and we're just preparing for the party from now on."
Jason chuckles. "This is shocking news."
"Yes, I just don't want my boyfriend taken by someone else, let alone an ex who always bullies him. Now, Latina has the surname Cornor."
Goddamnit! That was only in Jason's heart. If he knew it was going to happen like this, it would be better to just kill Dean. So, no one would be able to have Latina.
It was a bad thought that came to Jason's mind. He didn't want to hurt, but was desperate to finish Dean off. Moreover, he could do nothing because Verhaag was here.
"Congratulations then." Jason forced a smile out of his lips.
"Thank you." Dean was thrilled to see Jason's unpleasant look on his face. "You didn't say anything to Latina?"
"Yes, of course." Jason turned to his ex-wife. The diamond ring is embedded in the ring finger, indicating that he does not have a gap to return. "Congratulations to you, Latina."
