Ch. 18 - Foreign Visitors
Elder Han, who pretended to know the pill recipe Qing Shan had written, was a good old con man.
The Yin Yang Pill Recipe that Qing Shan had written was a pill recipe made by an Ancient Great Emperor that no one else knew about.
"Chairman Han who pretended to know this pill recipe was even more impossible than just seeing a ghost, he even tried to say test me. Elder Han clearly frowned twice before. It was clear that there were two steps he did not understand in this recipe. He doesn't understand, but he's still pretending. Hah, this old monster, very interesting."
Said Qing Shan laughing heartily. He really felt that Elder Han was a cute old man, not a demon cultivator.
Qing Shan thought maybe respecting the Elder as his master was not a bad thing.
Ling Yun opened his big eyes to look at the smiling Qing Shan. The more he looked at Qing Sgan, the more overwhelmed and sentimental she became.
"Sister Qing when smiling is very handsome." Ling Yun said inwardly.

To save face, Elder Han actually left the Palace and went into isolated seclusion to concentrate on refining pills. He doesn't care about other business.
Niu Gong, Fan Dan, Chi Yui was the three commanders whose cultivation they were at the Harmonious Spirit Realm realm and worked to take care of all the affairs in the Ice City and Qing Shan as the young master was not involved in anything.
However, Elder Han appointed Qing Shan with a task that was to lead the mission of becoming the Host during the Dao Fruit Auction.
His mission sounded simple, so Qing Shan thought that this auction was a very small matter. But he quickly found out that he was wrong.
The Dao Fruit Auction was held by the Heavenly Core Pavilion! It was an association that possessed extremely mysterious and powerful strength.
Being the host of an auction was not as simple as just selling a few items. The Dao Fruit was a priceless treasure and there would be many Harmonious Spirit Realm cultivators to come. Even Gold Realm cultivators would come to the Ice City.
And accepting the mission that Elder Han gave along with maintaining the order of the Ice City became an important mission for Qing Shan.
Without the presence of Elder Han to guard the city, if there really was a Golden Realm cultivar that killed people or caused trouble in the Ice City, would Qing Shan be able to handle it?
If he were to ignore it, what if the auction were to be destroyed If he chose to stop it, what would he use to stop the Gold Realm realm expert?
Outside of maintaining the rules and order of the city, Qing Shan also needed to contact all the forces within the Ice City to attend the auction.
Other than the three subordinate armies of Elder Han and the demon cultivators, the other one was the four great clans that existed in the Ice City.
The four clans seemed to be underestimating Qing Shan. And among the three commanders of the black armored forces, outside of Commander Chu Yai, the other two Commanders were basically indifferent and did not give face to Qing Shan.
Qing Shan ordered Chu Yai to send out invitations to the four clans and three representatives of the troops to discuss the matter of the auction. The result was that no one came but Chu Yai.
Sure enough, he had just been appointed as the young master, and his prestige still did not exist.
They were all busy as the auction date got closer. Qing Shan was also in no mood to concoct pills, as he had just broken through to the fifth gate Basic Vein realm and his cultivation also needed time to stabilize the foundation as well as a certain period of adjusting his body changes.
Therefore, Qing Shan did not want to create the Vein Opening Pill to increase his cultivation.
"Chu Yai, I heard Commander Fan Dan's mansion from the Sword Guards Force has black grass, right? He seems to be the one who is most opposed to me being the young master."
In the main hall of the palace, with an extremely gentle tone, Qing Shan turned towards Chu Yai and asked.
"Young Master, Commander Fan Dan has no malicious intentions. He just wanted to chat with the Young Master."
Chu Yai replied respectfully.
This type of respectful treatment was not because of Qing Shan's ability to defeat him, but rather because of Qing Shan's natural ability and pill making.
He had been by Qing Shan's side in recent times, but he heard many rumors that Qing Shan and his pill refining techniques were extremely high.
It even humiliated Elder Han, which was why their leader went into seclusion to practice and refine pills in earnest.
"Second Brother has a bad prejudice towards Young Master. His sword energy was quite powerful as he killed and drank a lot of blood. What if when meeting the Young Master and doing something? Then Lord Han will blame me."
Chu Yai was worried that Fan Dan would kill Qing Shan. Qing Shan might be able to defeat him, but Fan Dan was much more powerful when compared to him.

Qing Shan then left with Chu Yai who was only carrying a hundred members of his army, the rest stayed to guard the palace and the medicine courtyard hall.
Arriving at Fan Dan's residence, the main door was tightly shut with about five hundred Sword Guardsmen on guard. They were all wearing deep red robes embroidered with seven sword emblems on their shoulders.
Since they knew Qing Shan was coming, the trained Sword Guards immediately lined up in the sword formation in an orderly fashion to fight him the moment they saw him.
The turbulent sword aura suddenly surfaced causing Qing Shan to instinctively take two steps back to stabilize his position.
Chu Yai was even more embarrassed, even though she was a monster and a Commander whose cultivation level was at the realm of the Harmonious Spirit Realm, his facial expression immediately sank into a dark shadow as he nearly fell under the pressure of the five hundred men of the army.
They had just met yet they showed their strength against master Qing Shan.
"This branch is greeting Commander Chu Yai! Commander Fan Dan is not feeling well today, so he cannot meet any foreign visitors!"
The man did not bother looking towards Qing Shan, but the insulting emphasis on the two words foreign visitors clearly referred to Qing Shan.
"I am the young master of Ice City and have something to ask your Commander. I must also make you need to learn to respect people before you report back to him."
Qing Shan did not mind facing this man. He moved forward step by step, though, releasing his powerful Black Flame aura then immediately dashed forward and encompassed his sword aura to the five hundred Sword Force Guards until they were swept away by Qing Shan's flames and sent flying.

The chaos fire power from the black flames shot out.
The expressions on the faces of the sword guards, all known as the Swordsman Army, changed drastically.
Qing Shan who was standing in front of them and Qing Shan in the rumors were completely different!
Qing Shan was not the Basic Realm of the First Veins gate, nor a beginner. Qing Shan even used his strength to destroy them all at once.
The man who insulted Qing Shan just now was the tenth gate Vein Basic Realm and was only one step away from reaching the Harmonious Spirit Realm, but he vaguely felt a dangerous sensation as he sensed the Aura of bodies exploding from Qing Shan's body.
