CHAPTER 48. ALMOST TOOK A LIFE
Rico cleared his throat to ease his nervousness. He put the earphone on the ear, then pressed a button that connects to the call.
"Good afternoon, Boss!" greet Rico with a firm voice.
"Position?!" shout someone across briefly.
"Together with the mistress on the way home," Rico replied clearly.
"How's the condition?" ask the person behind the phone.
"Still shocked and devastated, Boss."
"Then the content?"
"The results of the examination earlier, all are healthy and normal," replied Jihan's personal bodyguard slowly glancing at Jihan who seemed unconcerned.
After a while, they ended the conversation. Rico held his breath during the conversation. But it turned out that Jihan was not interested in the man's voice at all.
Evidently Jihan was still leaning comfortably and busy looking at the large trees along the road they passed. Only then could Rico sigh in relief.
Meanwhile, Tiger was discussing at a large table at his headquarters with a joint team of Leon's men. They are tracing the events behind the incident that almost cost him his life if only he was insensitive to his surroundings.

This morning, Tiger was lured into a fancy restaurant very close to the police station. Both sides plan to work together.

They did not have time to open some iron bars because the fire had spread and enlarged so quickly. There are a lot of burnt victims in there.
Dozens of fire engines came, still difficult to conquer the blaze.
"Yes God! We almost took lives!" muttered Dylan who was still shocked by the events so fast before him.
His chest was still beating violently, his eyes widened very wide. His body froze with a gasp of breath. A little late, they also burned in the bomb explosion that started from the restaurant.
"You have to sharpen your nose, ears and eyes when we do transactions or cooperation like this." Tiger was still adjusting his breath, gripping firmly at the steering wheel of his car holding back anger.
Tiger then explained, when two of his clients left the location he moved his entire senses. His sharp eyes found a flashing red light from the reflection of the glass in the room. And soon, his ears heard a moment of time running. Tiger firmly believed that the place had been bombed and set up in such a way as to harm him.
"Sorry, Sir. It's my negligence!" I'm Dylan feeling guilty, confessing recklessly this time.
Tiger's gaze returned straight ahead. His mind was immediately fixed on Jihan's mother who was in prison. He immediately approached when one by one the victims were successfully lifted by the damkar officer.
After waiting for some time, he got a report that Maharani, his mother-in-law became one of the victims who could not be saved. Soon he calls Rico to deliver Jihan.
Initially wanting to tell Jihan directly over the phone, Tiger undoes his intentions. Because he was afraid, his wife was in extreme shock.
