The Enchantment of the Goddess Athena

The Enchantment of the Goddess Athena
Chapter 4 Towards Another World

Early in the morning Juna was awake earlier than Dellon. Juna was thinking hard about how he met the female figure last night who gave him an owl pendant necklace.

“Gosh my stupid, why last night I did not directly ask the goddess ya” muttered Juna while holding her pendant.

Thinking about it, made Juna's head become a quail.

“Argghhh shit, I need a brain refresh. I'd better take a shower”.

Juna immediately got up and darted into the bathroom. Under the shower, the water running over his head soaked his hair and his entire body. In his bath he thought hard what to do when he arrived at the temple acropolis.

“Oh come on brain just work for a moment, what way should I do” Juna close his eyes while flashing his hair. He did not realize that the current necklace he was wearing was giving off a small golden white light, more precisely in the eyes of the owl pendant.

After the bath ritual was over, Juna came out of the bathroom using only a white towel wrapped around her waist. He put on his clothes and straightened his hair.

“I was always handsome” said Juna confidently.

Soon his phone rang there was a voice call from the house, more precisely his mother.

“Hall” has not finished Juna said hello, his mommy had interrupted first

“Junaaaaaaaa where you are, why not tell us that you are out of the country. Don't tell me you want to run away. Just be careful if you have such intentions, mommy and daddy will not hesitate to revoke all the facilities that you use today” strangled the mommy who was angry with the child. Mom Stefanni nyerocos relentlessly nagged the child, very eloquent and smooth, very smooth even smoother than the toll road.

“Oh come on mom, just relax I won't run away. I can make sure it” replied Juna casually.

“But mommy doesn't want to know, today you have to go back to Indonesia if you still want to be a child of mommy and daddy”

“Mom, horrify first. If today it seems that it cannot. Tomorrow, yes. My mission here has not been reached” Juna tried to negotiate with the mommy about his return.

“Mommy doesn't want to know. Anyway today you go straight home, point without comma” decreed the mommy does not want to be disturbed.

“Mom” said Juna but unfortunately the call was immediately interrupted because the mommy turned off the phone connection.

Tut tut tut's…

“Oh gosh, Indonesian mothers can not be defeated” Juna bobbing heads with the nature of the mommy.

Tok tock..

The door of her room was in the corner from outside, Juna immediately walked open the door of her room.

“For Tuan” greet Dellon

“Hm, wait a minute I want to be ready in a moment. We have breakfast outside,” Juna told the assistant.

“Good Tuan” replied Dellon briefly.

Juna and Dellon were in the car to the temple of Athens

“Master, exactly what was your purpose in coming to the temple of Athena?” dellon asked Juna who was cool with his salary. Juna was researching a ritual to meet the goddess Athena.

“Master?” ask Dellon again

“Master of our destination came to the temple of Athena what is it?”

“Oooh if it is, secret” replied Juna origin.

Hearing that, Dellon let out a rough sigh

“Hei don't get mad so” said Juna while gently hitting the assistant's shoulder.

“Master, Madam this morning has contacted me so that you will immediately return to Indonesia”

“I've also been contacted, just ignore it. But I will try to make it so that today we will return to Indonesia soon.

Temple of Athena

They had already reached their destination, the temple of Athena. Before arriving at the temple, they had to climb for 30 minutes. Because even though it was in the middle of the city, apparently the temple was at the top of a hill.

There is nothing special and exciting in fact, just sturdy concrete poles towering and a few tourists coming from different parts of the world.

Juna and Dellon surround the temple and are accompanied by a tourist guide who explains the contents of the temple of Athena.

The Parthenon is a temple to the goddess Athena built on the highest point of evidence in the city of Athens, at the Acropolis ("High City"). In the Late Bronze Age, around 1300 BC, the Acropolis was the residence of kings, as well as the last place of defense if the city of Athens was attacked. After the Dark Ages, the city of Athens was no longer ruled by the king, instead they adopted an oligarchy. Thus, the Acropolis was no longer the residence of the king, instead, it became a sanctuary for the goddess Athena, and the Athenians built temples for her there.

The first Athenian temple on the Acropolis was first built in the Archaic period and was made of limestone. When the Persians conquered Athens in the Greco-Persian War, they destroyed the temple, just before the Battle of Salamis in 480 BC. After the war, the remains of the temple were buried under the Acropolis.

The tour guide also recounts the painting and the origin of how the temple of Athens stood.

For a long time after the Greco-Persian Wars, the Athenians left the Acropolis as a ruin and did not attempt to renovate it, as a war memorial. In the 440s BC, the Athenians wanted to rebuild their Parthein larger and more beautifully. In order to rebuild the Parthenon, the Athenian government needed substantial funding. The Athenian government circumvented this problem by taking the Delian League's dues and using them to build the Parthenon. The Delian League was an alliance of Greek city-states led by the city of Athens. The funds themselves came from payments by all the members and the League and in fact the funds had to be used for the benefit of the League, which was to fight against the Persians. But because Athens needed large funds and had more power over the Delian League, they dared to seize the money for their own sake. When most Greek temples had six columns on their front, the Parthenon had eight columns. Other Greek temples were decorated by friz (long stone chunks decorated with continuous sculptures) only or metope (individually ornate stone panels), while the Parthenon had friz and metope. There is a series of triglyphs and metopes in the main architectures, on top of the Doria-style columns, and there is friz in the inner architra, on top of the Ionian-style columns. So when other Greek temples had poles with only one style, the Partheon columns were made in two styles. On the front of the Parthenon, in a triangular pediment, Pheidias sculpted the scene of a rivalry between the goddess Athena and the god Poseidon as the chief deity in the city of Athens. On the rear pediment, she placed a sculpture depicting the birth of the goddess Athena from the head of the god Zeus. Unfortunately, most of the pediment has now been damaged, and the remaining part is now stored in the museum.

“This person explains what the hell, I do not understand” grumbled Juna in heart.

Juna leaves Dellon to the tour guide, who plans to find a way to meet the goddess Athena.

When he reached the middle of the temple, he saw a towering tall pillar leading out. If you look around, the view from both poles is like a gate or door. Outside we can see the city of Athens

“Good too” Juna walked up to those two poles without hesitation. And Juna himself did not realize that the pendant was currently emitting light. The closer Juna was to the pole, the stronger the necklace gave off light. Until finally Juna passed both walls

The pusssshh…..

A flash of light suddenly shot out and strangely Juna instantly disappeared.

“Loh, this is where” surprised Juna who knows he is already in a place like he dreamed yesterday.

“What is this another world? The world of the gods goddess?
