Abrisam smiled down the school corridor. He deliberately did not go with Adira this time. The guy reasoned that he was bad luck and would be late to pick up Dira. So, instead of being late, Sam told Adira to go first to school. Sam woke up early in the morning.
He was impatient to give the brown envelope from the parking lot he had held. The envelope contained Sam's prize money during yesterday's motorcycle race. Maybe this is because of Sam's good intentions, he managed to get champion one in that race.
“Dira certainly would not have thought I could get this much money.” Sam spoke to himself as he continued to move.
His smile grew even more when he saw Dira standing in front of the class. The girl looks so cranky. Sam hid the envelope behind his back.
“Morning Adira.”
“Sam, really long?”
“Sorry, ‘make me bad luck.” Sam is still lying, “ada want me to talk to you.”
“I also.”
Forehead Sam wrinkled, “what is it?”
“You go first,” said Adira gave a chance
“girls first time!”
“Then come with me!” adira pulls one of Sam's arms.
“Wait!” Sam didn't shift a bit. Adira looks back again, “what's up?”
“I taro bag first.” Sam walked into the classroom and placed his bag on the front desk with the originals.
Then Sam dropped out of class again and walked after Adira. The girl took him to the back garden. They stand facing.
“What do you want to tell me?” asked Sam who was looking at Adira fixedly.
“Your father yesterday to my house.”
Sam surprised, “Papi know your home? My feelings never told me. Know where ya's from? Why does he keep going to your house?”
“Apply my mama.”
“Hah?” this time Sam was even more surprised until the envelope behind his back dropped, “me-applying?”
Adira tilts her head, “that's what fell?” point Dira down.
Sam looked back and looked down. Quickly he took the money that fell. She looked at Adira and held out the envelope to her lover.
“This is actually for you.”
“What is this?” Adira took it from Sam's hand. The girl opened the envelope. How surprised he saw tens of millions of money, “where did you get this money from?”
“I deliberately said wake up just to make that love to you. Want to make you surprised, but even I am more surprised.” Sam snorted and turned his head in the other direction, “I got it from the motor racing race yesterday.”
Sam stared at Adira again, “the race was officially not wild and it was not a result of stealing. To help you study abroad.”
“Sam..” Adira's eyes glazed over she was so moved by her lover's good intentions. Adira quickly hugged Sam, “I don't want to split with you. I don't want anyone to separate us.”
Sam replies to Dira's embrace, “we will not part Dira and nothing will separate us. Even if it's Papiku.”
Dira took off his embrace and looked up at Abrisam, “so how do we thwart the intentions of our parents?”
“I'll try to talk to Papi. You try to talk to Aunt Willa, okay?”
Adira nodded, “oke!”
“Udah don't cry!” Sam rubbed the corner of Adira's watery eyes.
“I'm just surprised you came to think of my college. You shouldn't bother. I'm not feeling good”
Sam lowered his hands again, “I didn't bother. Racing is also my favorite. So, even if I don't help you, I'm sure I'm still in that race. I know you want to continue your education there. If you succeed ‘kan me also proud.”
Suddenly the school bell rang. It was a sign that all students were told to enter the class.
“Come to class!” Sam nodded at Dira's invitation.
They stepped side by side while chatting lightly.
“Still money. Will I tube.”
Sam smiled, “sama-sama dear.”
Abrisam opened the door violently until it made a loud noise. Anna and Siska go out to Sam.
“What's Sam? Why did you slam the door?” ask Siska.
“There's in his room just got home from work.”
The teenage boy quickly stepped towards the second floor. The two stepmothers were confused by Sam's suddenly brutal demeanor.
“There will definitely be another quarrel,” murmured Anna who can still be heard by Siska.
“Quarrels?” Siska thought for a while, “ayo we see! I'm afraid that if Mas Tomi hits Sam again."
Anna nodded, “ayo mbak!”
Together they ran up the stairs.
Sam opens the door and Tomi is seen wearing a white t-shirt and material pants for her work. The man had not finished changing clothes.
“You just got home? Once a afternoon.” Ask Tom who is standing by the mirror.
“Someone wants Sam to talk to Papi.”
“What's Sam? Can't we talk after Papi takes a shower?”
The boy who was still wearing a school uniform and a backpack on his shoulder stepped into the room.
“Sam just want to ask Papi” Dahi Tomi wrinkled, “Papi do not like to see Sam happy?”
Tomi laughs softly, “questions what is Sam? Papi always wants to see you happy.”
Anna and Siska peeked out of the room. They eavesdrop on this son and father talk.
“Then leave Aunt Winda!”
Tomi stares at her son sharply, “papi can't. You better stop dating Adira. Because he will be your brother.”
Sam shakes his head in disbelief, “so who wants to see Sam happy? Sam gave up a lot, Pi. Sam has also changed his attitude until Papi does not see the teacher at school anymore. This is all Sam asked for, Pi. Please don't separate Sam from Adira!”
“Mas, Tomi want to marry again with Ma'am Winda?” mumbling Anna.
Siska who heard immediately turned to the honey, “you know, Ann?”
“Iya, Mbak.” Anna drops her tears, “dia where Anna ordered the cake. Her mother Adira.”
Siska hugged Anna. He also felt the same sadness and did not abis think that the woman wanted to be with Tomi. From Siska's assumption that this woman is not good and only wants property from her husband. Because most women close to Tomi only think about it.
“Sam you are young and handsome. There are a lot of girls who want to be with you. Why should I force Adira?”
“Oh, if so. Why does Papi insist on wanting Aunt Winda? Papi should remember the age. Papi never thought about the feelings of the other two wives. Papi just follows Papi's depraved lust. Papi that changed since Mami didn't exist.”
Sam continued to judge Tomi with his words. The tone of the man also rose by an octave. Tomi also started to get emotional.
“Jaga what you said Sam! This is Papimu.” Tom raised his hand into the air. He wanted to slap Sam. Stalled though.
“Why? Wanna slap? This is a slap!” Sam pointed at his cheek.
“Sam,” muttered Tomi lowered her hand again, “Papi will not change this decision. You must decide Adira.” immediately
“What kind of parents are you?” Sam's eyes start to glaze over, “you prefer your own happiness without thinking of me?”
“Papi thought Aunt Winda had been looking for. He looks like the late Mammu.”
Sam rubbed his hair back with two hands, “AAAA” he screamed loudly and threw both tags.
Anna just entered the room, “I do not approve if Mas wants to marry again.”
Sam was shocked when his mother went inside.
“I don't need your rest Anna.”
“I don't approve either, Mas. You should be thinking about Sam right now instead of thinking about yourself. Because your kids need you.” Siska added.
“Eh... uh..” Tomi pointed, “heard ya the three of you. No one can forbid me from marrying Willa.”
“Papi should also know that Sam and Dira will not give up on staying together.” After that Sam stepped away with his already wet cheeks.
“Sam! You and Adira want to be brothers. You can't date!”
The screams from the middle-aged man were not harrumphed anymore by Abrisam. This guy keeps stepping outside the house.
Sam got on his bike and launched the two-wheeler quickly. He rubbed his cheeks rough. Emotions that dominate it make it reckless on the highway. Many other riders scolded him for almost getting hit.
aren't you yet woi? 😭
